Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff right from the start.
Food was great, very fresh and presentable complements to the chef.

Lovely relaxing few days away, staff are always so friendly and always asking if we needed anything.
The thing we love about this hotel is how dog friendly they are, dogs are welcome everywhere apart from the dining room but they have a lounge area set up with tables for dinner where the dogs are allowed in.
There was a little dog bed and a small bowl in the room with a few dog biscuits.
Food was amazing as usual.
We will def be back again 😀

Staff were very helpful and courteous at all times

Needed somewhere to stay overnight on my trip home. The room was perfect except the panic when I couldn’t find the bathroom. The room had a sink in it and the toilet and shower are hiding behind a cupboard door
1.5
room not too bad but the the walls appear paper thin from dogs barking to people snoring, showers and toilets flushing did not allow for a good nights sleep, would not stay again.
Decor tired and grubby.
Plus side..food was good

Great place to stay in a quiet little village.

A nice place and nice room. We did not like the way they serve breakfast because we had to pick things out of a menucard. Thats too early in the morning

The room rates are quite pricey. Our room 25, was very noisy.

Staff and food were excellent. Family room had plenty of space. No wardrobe but plenty of hooks to hang jackets etc.

No faults everything was amazing.

Room we stayed in was very small that the door opened onto the bedroom side table, and there was only one as the room was so small. View was of the roof. Lights were not bright enough so we in semi-darkness. Bathroom was tiny and the toilet seat was broken. Internet kept going off after a few minutes as the signal was so weak. The second night the fire alarm went off for five minutes but there was no apologies or acknowledgement as we left. All in all disappointing stay.

The bar and restaurant staff were wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating.
The hotel overlooks the river and has wonderful mountain views. Located in the heart of Killin.

My room was on the highest level of the hotel, and the view over the river and area was scenic and pastoral. The room amenities were satisfactory and the bed was comfortable. The vintage lift was fun to use.

We had booked a room with two twin beds, but upon arrival we were given a room with one double bed. We ask the receptionist if the room could be reconfigured and she said it would be fixed by housekeeping right away. We returned from our evening out at 10pm to find the room had not been reconfigured. We called the front desk with no answer. We asked at the bar looking for someone to help and eventually a staff member emerged from the bar and offered us another room on a different floor so we had to pack up and move rooms. Inconvenient and disappointing. Would otherwise have been a pleasant stay.

Clean, nice evening meal, lovely room, easily accessible to local amenities

We enjoyed the location, including the views and the easy walk to dining and shopping in Killin. The breakfasts were good, and we had a lovely dinner here. Our room was comfortable and well laid out, but quite noisy. Reception initially put us in a room with the wrong number of beds, and the service in general seemed a bit unfocused.

A very nice place to stay. The dinner is good and the bar is really nice. Rooms are confortable and clean.

Loved the Macnab tartan carpet, the very old fashioned lift and the room was cosy and clean.

The hotel sits at the South of Loch Tay on the river, the Annex we stayed in was very clean and tidy but could do with a freashen up. The hotel and staff were great, the food and service were both excellent. Great place to explore the Loch!

Lovely hotel with a friendly staff in a beautiful place. We were upgraded to a family room with the river view, it was very sweet and unexpected.

The meals at night were good and staff attentive but the breakfast was poor.Porridge was lumpy and didnt tasty good. Scrambled eggs tasteless and bacon barely cooked. Hot water on counter not hot enough to make tea but luckily staff give me boiling water from kitchen.

Door of bathroom was hard to open and shut due to carpet. Tv randomly turned on without us touching it. Location was good though.

Beautiful setting. Pleasant welcome, comfortable room, lovely view, good food (evening meal and breakfast). The on-site menu and prices didn't always match up with the online menu and prices; that wasn't a real problem, but it's something that the hotel needs to make good.

April 2024, Monday night and paid £115 on hotels.com If we booked direct it would have been £135
We stayed in what was a recently refurbished room which on the surface looked very nice however we didn’t find the 4 poster bed very comfortable and the room although refurbished was most probably a diy refurb. Shower was very small and we could hear snoring from next door. The complimentary soaps, tea coffee etc were all good and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Location and parking good and Killin is very nice… we had a meal at the hotel which was ok but not wow. On the whole a little expensive stay for the standard but not so bad we wouldn’t stay again if it was a little cheaper on a different day.
