I'd like to point out that the night clerk / bartender was great to work with. Very pleasant and very helpful. She provided exceptional service and made us feel so very welcome.

I was very happy with our stay at Stone Creek and will keep it on my list of places to stay in Galena. This was a spur of the moment trip. The decor of the facility was very quaint and had a rustic feel.
The overall facility was clean and well maintained. The woman who checked us in Thursday afternoon, 11/24/24 was extremely friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. My only recommendation would be to consider installing grab bars in the tub/shower for older guests.
The breakfast buffet was very good, the only downside was the woman attending the dining area Friday morning 11/25/24 was not very friend and was rushing us to leave.

It was mine and my wife’s birthdays with Thanksgiving in between. We were greeted by Teresa and she was very pleasant and hospitable and you should be proud to have such a
good employee. She checked us in quickly and told us our stay was paid for by our daughter. That was such a wonderful surprise, we proceeded to tour the facility and was greeted by Rachel in housekeeping who told us about the rewards program which we will be looking into. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and the wonderful breakfasts and an evening in the saloon. We enjoyed our stay immensely we will be staying with you again, Thank You for the pleasant stay.

This hotel was a bit of a surprise! It is small but cozy. The rooms are clean and average size. The whole hotel is cute--but it is the staff that really makes it so homey! They are friendly, helpful and treat you like family.

Almost need a floor plan to know your way around. The mattress was strange like sleeping on bubble wrap. Otherwise good. Near historic downtown.

Great stay here in Galena. The location was great to nearby amenities and downtown shopping was not far at all. The decor was outdoorsy and was nice with a bar on site and the breakfast was good.

We were supposed to have a room with a fireplace and whirlpool and only got the whirlpool but paid for the other. I am expecting a credit for this as this was an important over night stay for us. I expect to hear back and receive a credit on this.

Exterior was very nice. They were understaffed and had to wait to check in room wasn’t ready yet. When finally got checked in was a very long line. Room was clean but outdated and worn. Overall was good experience. For price paid was expecting a little more

The toilet paper holder was also holding a spare roll so in order to use the paper you had to push back the spare and pull the front roll with the other hand. The holder was also in an odd place in front of the sink and you would hit it when using the sink. The bed was nice and soft-just right.

The doorknob to the bathroom was dangling when we checked in and eventually fell off. The toilet would not flush. And I guess our shower was leaking into the bathroom below ours😂 The bed was not comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very nice, though.

Our stay was pleasant,although the room was furnished very dark. There was a musty smell, perhaps from being closed up for some time.

Stayed 2 nights here with 2 small dogs. It was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly. We had a fast, easy check in and the continental breakfast was good! I would recommend and would stay again.

The motel has a northwoods cabin/western/golf vibe. Room 57 was very average. Clean with exception of dust bunnies on the ceiling above the air-conditioner. Noticed slightly unpleasant odor during our 1 night stay. Needs some updates, wall paper in bathroom was peeling off in places.
That said, the staff was great and the lobby and free morning breakfast was great.

Great place to stay! Very clean, well kept, well supplied, free coffee all day, small bar/ game room supplied with both soft and hard liquor, nice clean gas grill outside bar area on patio for tenant use. Nice porch area shaded by roof with comfortable ariondack chairs for seating. Nice staff.

Beds were very comfortable. Staff was great. Coffee was great. Rooms were a little small but updated and clean. Would stay again. The fitness room needs some things, if fact if it were my hotel, I would add on an entire gym. But thats just me. Awesome place though, I would stay again.

The folks at Stoney Creek could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were greeted on arrival by manager, John Grilliot. He gave us a warm welcome and answered all questions about the facility, as well as best bets for dining and things to do in Galena. The front desk personnel were equally friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Stoney Creek. As an aside, it was Labor Day weekend and so they were insanely busy. Kudos.

I really like the cozy lodge feel, spacious room and whirlpool tub. There was construction going on outside, but it was still quiet inside. Pool and hot tub area was nice. The only downsides were not having an elevator and the lackluster young man at the front desk when I checked out.. I would definitely book there again in the future.

I called the hotel to let them know I was going to be running very late upon check-in when I called the phone rang and rang and rang and no one answered. I get a phone call back from Mr. saying that she would Check me in even though I wasn’t there yet this way I will not get charged as a late fee or a no-show. When I arrived At Stoney Creek Inn I was given my room Keys at 1:30 in the morning. We had the best time at this hotel couldn’t ask for the best customer service ever.. eventually, I got to meet the lady Teresa. She was so kind and very knowledgeable. Just want to say if you’re in town stop at the Stan Creek for the great customer service you’ll receive the pool was nice. The Jacuzzi was hot. The fix could’ve been a little bit better, but the coffee was amazing .
