A clean room in a good position near Sol.

I like everything about the property, only they need to change the mattress as it had a small hole in the middle. But everything else was great.

Nice room, friendly staff, great location.

We stayed here for three nights. The location was convenient and walkable to a lot of places. BUT the locations are surrounded by restaurants and bars so it get quite loud at night. If you need to have a quiet space to sleep, this might not be it. Staff was nice, place was clean but they don't provide you a comforter for your bed. But overall it was a good value

Terrific stay at this perfectly located hotel. I usually wouldn’t book a 2 star hotel, but reviews were so positive I gave it a go, and glad I did.
Rooms were sparse (no glasses or coffee or tea etc) but they were new, fresh and comfortable.
Staff were excellent and I liked all the little historic touches in the common areas.
I got a room at the back, not having the street, and it was so quiet.
Highly recommended.

There is only piece sheet on the bed, no dryer. Very small. Avoid with family.

Great location, it’s just loud and noisy during the night but it’s because its location is accessible to everything you need, restaurants, shops etc.

Easy access to food and attractions.

Clean, comfortable and central location near metro station and many restaurants. There is a lift and 24hr reception which is very convenient. Staff were polite and helpful. Twin room was compact, and might be a bit tight if you have large suitcases.

Everything is in walking distance and hostel was easy to find. Beds were good, little balcony was great to have some fresh air to room. Bathroom was nice and large.
What could be better: insert a little shelf under bathroom mirror and one big mirror to room. Unfortunately in our bathroom came a bad smell from sewers what they couldn't fix (we asked to). We understand that one day was holiday, but waited something to happen during our four nights stay. Anyway, we could suggest the place and stay there again if coming to Madrid.

The stay was very good. The front desk guy went above and beyond. Super helpful. Our room was small but some are bigger. But the walls are very well insulated so no neighbor noise. They cleaned every day. The only complaint is that the smell of the water/pipes was kind of strong. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Warm welcome. Lovely clean room. Balcony was an added bonus. Lifts made getting to room much easier. Stayed for two nights yet room service cleaned and changed bedding on the second day. Excellent base to explore Madrid.

Fantastic location and very comfortable and clean room with spacious shower. Only downside is the outside noise overnight due to there being several bars in the area. Take some decent earplugs and all will be fine.

I enjoyed my stay at Hostal Marlasca. The property is beautiful inside, the room was clean and exactly as in the pictures, and as everyone says, the shower is amazing after a long day of exploring. It is a very close to Plaza del Sol, and the surrounding streets and alleys are alive all the time, especially on Friday nights and into Saturday morning. I highly recommend Hotel Marlasca, and would stay here again.

The hotel price is not reasonable.
Too expensive for the look of the place but location is okay.

Fantastic location very clean city centre, the only problem we had was the noise from outside, people being very loud until the early hours

It was in the heart of Madrid and within walking distance of a lot of the sites in the old part of Madrid.

Great location, nicely updated, rooms with multiple beds were nice for our family. Staff were nice. Overall I’d recommend, however pillows were not comfortable, and air conditioning took the edge off the heat but couldn’t quite completely cool the room.
10.0 / 10.0
Although very conveniently placed and good transportation options around it, there is a lot of partying going on until 5:30 - 6am every day that we stayed (however that is the case for several Madrid areas)

If you're looking for somewhere close to Sol, then the location is great. Unfortunately, everything else isnt - as per a lot of reviews, it's incredibly noisy from about 7pm to 5am, with people gathering outside the hotel all night (happened Fri, Sat and Sun I was there). The single room itself was adequate but the sheets were dirty and the shower still had hair from someone else in it. The hotel reception is on Floor 2 (not signposted) so you'll find many visitors wandering about lost (oh and there's no signs one each floor to say which rooms are where). The lift is tiny so be prepared if you're bringing a pushchair/bike to carry it up the narrow spiral staircase (no staff offered to help me). So in summary, ok if you're looking for a cheap place to put your head down but I'd suggest paying more and staying elsewhere.

Perfect location but extremely noisy at night

Ask the staff to call you a taxi if you need one even if there are plenty of cabs driving outside. They are already occupied and the taxi station is not exactly in front of the hostal. There is no reason the staff shouldn t do it more convenient for you especially if you for example have an early flight.

The location of the Hotel was perfect. Receptionists were all kind and friendly, and the room was spacious and nice. Highly recommended!
