They have bar/restaurant and some rooms in the same floor. However, the sound insulation is very good. Beds have their own curtains, which also contain good privacy.

Prior to booking was reading a lot or feedback about outside noise. To be honest, it wasn't too bad, even when football games were on, the bar would calm down pretty fast.by 1-2am the lates. Location is supper convenient - located in red light distribution, just turn around the corner to get to main district activities. 7-10 min walk to Amsterdam central train station, download NS app on your phone so you can track train scheduling you're taking day trips from Amsterdam

Was ok, think I was a bit mature.

Conveniently located in the city centre and attached to a busy and fun club bar. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm which had a v comfortable bed and i met some lovely people but during the day i saw a rat in the restaurant seating area đł

Basic expensive for what was offered but close to everything in Amsterdam

I would have given at least one other star had someone came into my room to clean it AT LEAST ONCE during my entire stay. I even extended my stay by one night and I specifically asked the front desk staff to please make sure my room would get cleaned. They instructed me to hang the âclean my roomâ sign by the door, which I did for two consecutive days, and nothing.
There are also weird smells in the room. I can see they probably donât even sanitize these rooms thoroughly after each guest. I had a private room.
Location is excellent. Just walking distance from the red light district.

As I said before, dirty. I extended my stay by one night and then still didnât bother to come clean the room.

Great location and thereâs a really big safe/lock box for each person under the bed - bring your own lock! Everything was super clean too. My only problem was how long the check in process took since there were only two people at the front desk and they worked very slowly
2.0
Was ok however the check in was a bit slow. Also someone in the room was snoring really loud

I must admit, I was a little apprehensive of booking this place, but to my surprise itâs a hidden gem !! Super clean, yes it doesnât have bells and whistles on it but functionality is the key. Toilets, showers all commune style but kept spotlessly clean at all times.
The bar downstairs is superb where you can get beers and food from, and with its own outside smoking are caters for all needs.
I was travelling solo but found the bed more than adequate in a 4 dorm and the privacy curtain made it feel very homely. Within the bed area you have a lamp and a charge point for the phone and under the bed there is a lockable storage unit for your own personal equipment to be securely stored away when your asleep / out.
Staff are superb aswell and all so very friendly.

awesome stay

Great budget accommodation, awesome for traveling youths and right in the centre of town. Will definitely be back

The hostel is located in the heart of Amsterdam. Its about a 1min walk from the red right district. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants close to the hostel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Its probably the best hostel in Amsterdam. I have stayed in plenty of different ones that dont match up to this one.

The smell of the room was horrible!

It's the place you can find, they are very bad people. They treat customers very badly and it doesn't matter if you'll be first in line because they'll give you the last

Smooth check in! Helpful staff. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels! Great shower, that is shared. Im an older solo traveler, and I felt welcome and comfortable at St. Christopherâs.
5.0
Great staff at the hostel; everyone is very friendly and assists in guest requests. Definitely a hostel and not a hotel - a lot of students, transients, but we stayed in a private room with a private bathroom and it was as satisfactory as any other hotel. Would definitely recommend whether you stay as a guest with others or if you book a private room.

Let's get this out of the way, fellow guests/roommates can make or break your hostel stay, which, is usually beyond your control when traveling solo. This review will not take that into account. The hostel bed was comfortable, nice and not too firm. Pillow was supportive and the linen/blanket was clean. Security was also very good. On-site self service laundry was also very convenient. Very, very friendly and welcoming staff at the reception. Made you feel welcome at the hostel. Housekeeping is excellent and a towel is provided daily free of charge. Sheets and towels are changed daily!!! A few things to consider. Location is in a busy part of downtown and street noise into the night is unavoidable, comes with the territory. Bathroom in our ensuite had a few quirks, you'll take a shower in a bathtub and water will get to the bathroom floor. Bathroom light did not have an on/off switch, a bit odd. Overall a good experience during the 6 night stay at the hostel. Recommend to book here! đđđ

St Christopher's at the Winston is in a fantastic location, easily accessible from central station. Plenty of great bars and places to eat around the location. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Room was clean and staff were friendly.

This was my first ever sharing living space with multiple people. Honestly, it wasnât bad. Had to the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Flip side, thereâs no privacy, however, it wasnât a bad experience.

Super basic accommodation but all I needed for an night out in Amsterdam. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Beds and pillows were comfortable too. Stellar location

Easy walk from the train station. Hotel staff was beyond excellent! Busy part of town- donât expect to sleep with the windows open! Loved it and will stay there again!!

Good price, exactly as expected, was in a noisy area but not unexpected. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The only thing about this place is location, everything else is super bad. The beds are terrible, the smell in the hallways is so bad, it seems they haven't cleaned this place in years!

Stayed here 5 nights. I booked a single room with private bathroom. Room was small but it was good value what i paid. Only old church is next to the hotel and each 15 minutes bell was ringing as if inside the room. Apart from that it was a pleasing stay.

We booked the private room with the private toilet. Staff was friendly and the location was perfect. Our contents were safe when we werenât in the room. Keeping in mind this is a bed, toilet, and shower, and no Ritz Carlton, it certainly meets all requirements. The downstairs bar / restaurant is one of the greatest highlights. You can just walk up to your room after partying. The location is central to all of Amsterdam. Parking is a nightmare as you have to use public garages. The closest garage is 45 euros a day so donât recommend a car if you can avoid it. Overall a great stay and we were happy with this hotel / hostel.

Friendly staff, however rooms became hot and very noisy at night too loud for light sleepers. In the centre of Amsterdam which is good location

The room I stayed in was a mix 8 bunk room. It was clean and safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. âTetrisâ Charlie did a lot to help me adjust my stay. For the price this was a wonderful stay. Easy to get around and right in the middle of everything.

Like the atmosphere. The door slamming was inconvenient. Should remove the system from the doors.

The hostel didnât have water when I checked in. The room felt congested and was always hot. They provide one small fan which just takes energy and doesnât let any air out.
Thereâs no drinking water but that was expected in Amsterdam. The vibe of the room is depressing.
2.5
Location is in the heart of all the hustle and bustle, minutes walk from most sites and attractions, including Centraal Station and various public transportation. The premium you pay is for location. Rooms are basic and humble. Common areas are great for socializing. In-house restaurant and bar are convenient. Staff is friendly.

Great service, great environment, comfortable beds and clean rooms/bathrooms. Luigi really made my experience extra special!
2.0
The room was above the bar so all the smoke from cigarettes entered the room.
5.0
Exceeded my expectations. One issue: heat on and room too warm - had to open a door. Seemed wasteful of energy to heat the place so much!
4.0
Bed is loud, toilets are semi-broken (they keep on running water, loudly throughout the night. Heater doesnt heat very well. Besides that, a perfectly adequate hotel to stay in for a short city trip.

Really nice atmosphere great staff stayed in 8 bed dorm really clean an quite there is a bar open at night it's great specially this days... highly recommended thank you
