Great location for us. Quiet area close to lots of buzzing areas

Good, quiet location, small but comfortable room. Exceptional service - nice people. All round superb for the money.

Great hotel with friendly staff who could communicate with me in English (at least enough to get the conversation across). They were very helpful in storing my luggage a couple extra days, which was a huge relief to me during my travels there. Convenient location right across from a metro station. Clean rooms, nice amenities. The only slight downside is they seem to have a lot of large tour groups staying there, so there are periods when the lobby and elevators are packed.

We were very happy with everything and the location is great!

We stayed last minute after a train issue prevented us from heading to Kyoto. The hotel was clean and offered some fun skin care products to try - face masks, etc.
We paid a bit more for this hotel than others we stayed in - with similar room types - but that may be because we booked last minute.

Located just outside of busy attractions in Tokyo. Met all our needs. Parking was a bit tricky and needed advance reservation due to limited spaces. Staffs were very nice and helpful.

Hotel Monterey Hanzomon is located in a quiet neighbourhood. You get some quiet time after a day of sightseeing. It was nice to pick up a few amenities like bath salts and beauty masks before heading off to your room. It is right across the street from the Metro (exit 5). The buffet breakfast is a bit pricy but there are several places nearby to grab a quick bite before you head out like Doutor coffee and 7-11.

It was a great experience to stay in Hotel Monterey Hanzomon. I can see the Tokyo sky tree from my room. There are supermarkets and convenient stores within the distance of 3 min walk. The hotel is in Chiyoda area which is very quiet. I recommend an early morning walk in the neighbourhoods. The staffs are very kind and professional. Also there are some great tea bags provided at the front desk.

Accommodating staff

The hotel was terrible. First, the bed was much smaller than advertised. Not really big enough for two people.
Then, on my way to checkout, I lost one of the keys. I know many hotels take a fee if you lose it, but many hotels don't. Be smart. Be among those who don't. It is irritating, and the key is probably in the room anyway.

There is literally no where to sit or relax on the premises aside from the rooms or the dining area. Inconvienent for travelers checking out with a departure flight later that evening. I get it, but a few chairs shouldn't be out of the question.

Very clean and friendly place to stay. Easy access to city transportation. The staff were very professional and courteous. I love the free facial masks, foot detox patches and salt baths. Highly recommended!

a cozy hotel with nice amenities and in a good location, in a walkable distance to the Emperor's Castle. clean rooms and facilities, friendly staff and nice complimentary skincare means, which any woman will appreciate including bath salt. I really liked coffee & tea machine in my room.

This is a standard Tokyo business hotel, very nicely located a few steps from the Hanzomon metro station and the west side of the imperial palace. It is clean and with the usual furnishings and amenities. I arrived early from my flight and was told check-in time was 3pm. I asked if it was possible that a room might become available a bit earlier, say 2pm. I was told that even if a room did become available at 2pm, I would have to pay an extra early check-in fee to get it then. I thought that was unnecessarily strict, and that's why I have deducted one star from my review.

We enjoyed 4 nights quite stay. The coffee in room is very tasty. Loved it. Hotel provided free water, slippers, Pajamas every day. Each evening they even give out free facial masks. The hotel is right next to the train station which is super convenient. The breakfast is so so. We paid about $24 each person. The food included both western and eastern styles. Variety is fine but taste is average. Overall we will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had an amazing stay 6 days At this hotel, I highly recommend it. They offer face mask and Bath salts in the lobby for free for you to take and tea too. This hotel was very convenient for the convenience store and the Subway station. It was probably a 1 minute walk to the convenience store and a 1 minute. Walk to the Subway station. Everything is so close and very convenient. They will hold your stuff if you get there early. Or if you will leave the day of they will also hold your stuff until you get back. Other than that highly recommended

Our room was the size of a closet. The air conditioner barely worked so we sweated all night long. The area around it is very safe but there is essentially nothing within walking distance. However, the subway station is directly across the street.
There are minature washers and dryers in the basement that take 2 hours to dry your clothes, and when we used them someone stole our clothes.
I definitely would not stay here again. There are MUCH better options in Tokyo.
We loved Tokyo but this is not the place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great value. The hotel felt much more high-end than the price suggested. It was very clean, cool and welcoming, and they offered so many little free amenities. The front desk was very efficient, set up to help four guests at once during busy times. There was a great restaurant for breakfast around the corner, and a 7-Eleven and train station 2 minutes away.

We used the subway a lot, and the entrance right across the street from the hotel was very convenient. The breakfast buffet had extensive Asian and Western offerings, and of good quality. Note that the room was stayed in was small, and there is no lobby lounge.
