I stayed for the first time at this Best Western on a Saturday night in the basic king room. I usually like BW's when traveling and this one was one of the better ones! On arrival, I had booked about 15 minutes earlier, and staff already had my key card ready, the woman was friendly, and quickly checked me in. I had room 101, I did request top floor in my reservation, but perhaps she didn't see that. That and the pool being closed were the only issues. They did email me after booking stating pool was out of order. The room was close to lobby, but relatively quiet, as I believe we had neighbors, and only noise was in morning from staff in hallway, or on other side of wall, the breakfast area kitchen, although it wasn't obnoxious. Breakfast, til 10am on weekends, was excellent, one of the better ones I have had at BW, eggs and sausage were good, lots of toppings for waffles, and even chocolate milk and 4 juices. Attendant was friendly too and kept everything stocked. They did require a voucher, so others don't sneak in, although we weren't asked to show ours. Never have seen that before! Staff all around were polite, I asked for 11:30 check out which was granted, although after 10am, could not get back in with room key, and it was fixed quickly. The room was fine, TV a bit small, but newly renovated, great condition, clean, great cold fridge, hot water and good pressure in shower, bed was comfortable, but the desk chair had a hole/piece missing. I would stay again!

The carpets should all be replaced with either tile or tile harddwood floors. Carpet was very dirty all over the building. Otherwise ok place to stay.

It was a good , affordable place to rest our heads for one night. The carpet appeared a bit dingy but other than that, the accommodations served their purpose and the bed was nice and clean!

There was something wrong with the ac as the air was moist and our clothes were damp. We got bath towels that had holes in them.

We arrived past midnight but the gentleman at the Reception was very courteous , polite with a warm welcoming smile. The omelette for the breakfast ran out at 837M but the kitchen staff lady made more upon request. Am planning to stay for a week again in August. Please advise the kitchen staff that they should be willing to make again if they run out before the breakfast closing time at 9am.

Our room had a smell of smoke. Our room had numerous mosquitoes by numerous I myself killed at least 25 mosquitoes bathroom sink had no cold water , The handle came apart in my hand. it was extremely uncomfortable sleeping, knowing that there were still more mosquitoes in the room , we stay at that hotel at least 1 to 2 times a year for the last 10 years , very disappointed

Decent place to stay but the only thing was the notification I received about the swimming pool after booking that it is closed till March 15th. I assumed that means it will be open since my stay was in May25th (memorial weekend). This kinda information that you receive after booking is really annoying since that could be a determining factor of choosing a hotel.

Our room was nice and the hotel was clean with the exception of a sticky desktop in the room as well as the front desk counter. We were disappointed that the pool is out of service. Breakfast was better than most self service ones that we’ve had. Gabriella at the front desk was excellent. She was friendly and helpful.

the property is old, the carpet is old and im not sure if its really clean. Nothing to do much in Dartmouth area so i would only recommend this when you have something to do in the area. We were there for my daughter’s graduation at UMass

We were greated by a very friendly staff member when we checked in. We made our way to the room and noticed that we werent going to be able to use the pool which was a bummer. We got to our room and my husband went to turn the fan on, tripped and almost fell over. There was a hole in the floor under the carpet. My child and myself also tripped on the hole as you couldnt tell it was there because the carpet was still intact. We left to go shop and get dinner and when we came back the kiddo took a shower and then they went to get ice. The ice maker on our floor was out of order but the one upstairs was still working so that was okay. We shut the lights off to go to bed and oir child saw something crawl up from under the bed and onto his pillow. He asked me to come get the bug. After checking google we determined it was a western conifer seed bug. We had two come out from under the bed. It definitely gave us the heebie jeebues. When we went down for breakfast the next morning the woman was very kind and our brrakfast was yummy. When we checked out the person at the front desk was very pleasant. It's unfortunate that for 1 night we paid almost $160 for a room with bugs and a hole in the floor and also couldn't use the pool. I've included an image of the bugs that we found in our room

Overall, not great. The person at the desk at the time of our check in was nice, but, had a few sarcastic remarks that were unnecessary. The room and hallways had holes and dips in the floors that were just covered up with the carpet. The tacks were poking through the carpet (where it meets the smooth floor) and I was stuck in the foot a few times. Most importantly, the pool. The message states the pool would be out of service until March 15th. Our stay was on April 19-21. More than a month after the notice stated the pool would be ready. This was one of the main reasons we booked our stay there.

They said that the pool was open on arrival they said the pool was closed . The worker then mislead me not once but twice about a stay / using the pool towns away but having to stay here when I just came from the area of the other best western it was a terrible experience

Helpful, accommodating staff. Very clean! As I mentioned to the staff, the tub cleaner they used left a slightly slippery residue which washed off, which is the only reason I left less than all 'happy faces'.
