Clean, quiet, great staff, our room was suitable for two people no more. A little cramped and very small shower, otherwise a great stay and the excellent breakfast made up for any discomfort.

The only problem is the shower door not closing, the bathroom floor flooding and the bathroom floor not having a discharge. Water almost reached the bedroom wooden floorboard. Next shower with manual start and stop to avoid a mess.

I wish I could have learned more about the history of Hotel Carmine. It is in an incredible location and would have been nice to know more about it. Some of the staff was so friendly. Some came off as unfriendly. Breakfast was nice but wish there’d been cheese.

You can’t judge a book by its cover. Beautiful outside. Nice photos on web MAJOR disappointment. Bar closed. Lounge area closed. Shows is SO SMALL. I weigh 120lbs. Could not move in the shower. Literally NO WHERE to put soap. (You must bring your own). For what you pay, this is an awful choice. Beds are rock hard. Pillows are rich hard. Cannot lock doors to a SHARED balcony (shared by four rooms). Wind blew the door open in the middle of the night. Breakfast was nice. Supposed to be included in the price. But some in our party had to pay for theirs. Cannot park in the area by the hotel. Gotta find a place. No where to pay for it, but we did not have an issue there at least. Small plain rooms.

We needed a place to relax after several days of busy travel. Hotel Carmine was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. We felt very at peace here and the surrounding area was calm and quiet. But we were very close to everything in the Marsala center by foot, so we were able to enjoy walking around the area as well.

The hotel retains its Sicilian charm. The room was small, but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was very nice. We had thought that parking was available on site. However, we had to park on the street nearby. There was very limited dining in the immediate neighborhood.

Located in the historic center of Marsala, this old convent with a magical garden has been transformed into a 3 star hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful recommending nearby restaurants and helping us with parking. Great quality for the price.

Roberto & his staff were perfect: welcoming, accommodating & efficient. Rooms were lovely & clean Set on an enclosed piazza with plenty of outside parking. The inner courtyard with large garden which our room overlooked with a terrace made it serene & quiet.

Overall good for an overnight while traveling western Sicily. Rooms well appointed, delightful breakfast spread and easy location. Within walking of several sites and restaurants.

The hotel was ok, although it needed some maintenance in the rooms. The air conditioning unit in the room was particularly noisy and dated, and rattled all night. When we mentioned it to the staff they replied right away saying that it probably was just dirty filters. The biggest issue we found was with the location of the hotel, which is very inconvenient if arriving by car - the hotel does not have on site parking, and the local streets are unsafe to park in because they are regularly patrolled by "parcheggiatori abusivi", i. e. unlicensed parking attendants, one of whom pierced a tire of our car when we refused to pay him to "look after" our car.

Three nights in this beautifully renovated old convent were perfect for exploring Marsala and the surrounding area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a little balcony looking out onto a quiet piazza. A good selection of restaurants, shopping and sightseeing were close by. Parking wasn’t straight forward but manageable and free. Breakfast was.......unbelievable!

An elegant hotel in the historic center of Marsala, near many restaurants and bars. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. You can park your car in front of the hotel and leave your key, at no cost. Breakfast was very good, but the breakfast room staff were rude. We stayed 2 nights and explored nearby Trapani and Erice. I would stay here again if I were to visit Marsala again. Highly recommend this hotel. Also recommend the restaurant Trattoria Da Nino which is on Via San Lorenzo very close to the hotel.

When we checked in the woman at reception was unfriendly. She did not tell us anything about the hotel and things like what time breakfast was. She handed us the room key card and told us to move our car within 10 minutes.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! Close to shops, restaurants and churches! Breakfast outside in the garden was perfect! We had a triple room on first floor, it was spacious and very clean. The lobby, bar area and garden on the property were all so beautifully kept. We enjoyed our stay there to visit with our Marsala cousins!

A really lovely hotel with super, friendly staff. The decor is tasteful and everything very comfortable. Sadly it rained so we couldnt enjoy a drink in the pretty courtyard garden, but we used the comfy bar and loved the generous breakfast.
