Everything was broken. I found the smoke detector broken and in a drawer. The door to was to the room was cut unevenly so you could see into the hall at the top of the door.

Very history building. Rooms very small
No service. No one at desk at all need to call. Breadfast was empty. Only waffles.
If you like waffles. Very dissapointed for the price!!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fine and clean. The beds mattresses and linens were perfect. The hotel is old and the lobby is very run down which gives a bad vibe. The breakfast was good. I’d stay again but really someone needs to fix up the whole little lobby area to give a better impression!

Smelly and unclean.

When we walked into the hotel, we were skeptical, they are renovating and lobby was not well lit our room was well lit, modern and large. We were in for a wedding and this was the hotel reserved by the couple for guests. We were satisfied. Morning breakfast was ok. Waffles didn't cook well, but coffee and water cooler were good. Fruit and pastries were good. They had 2 cereal options. Parking was easy, as well as check in. Location wasnear the main street, so walkable to shops and restaurants.

You guys should upgrade your coffee situation.

It was close to our venue.

A dingy, outdated facility that shows negligence. Surly, unhelpful staff, mostly invisible at all times. The property is located on a small square so the potential for something much better is certainly there. I would avoid this place unless others are full or excessively pricey. It shows negligence, both towards the facility and towards the guests.

No one at desk from 6pm-12pm, door left open, very weird , felt very unsafe.
1.5 / 5.0
Lobby unattended upon arrival, throughout the night, and all morning -- including checkout. If you want to be alone -- completely alone -- and do not require any service or attention, and you don't mind having to call a phone number to get in after midnight, then this is the place for you. If you don't care about bathroom doors that don't close, sawdust-stuffed pillows, hallways and other common areas in various states of disrepair, refrigerators on the brink, and empty vending machines, and a really, really basic breakfast. And, if you love the smell of cheap, nauseating air freshener in your room -- then I think you'll love this 1-star motel hidden behind a charming 18th century facade.

Overpriced and thoroughly unpleasant owner.

The immediate surrounding area of the parking lot was a bit uncomfortable. The hotel itself needs updating in areas, but the staff were professional and accommodating.

My stay at this hotel was, without a doubt, one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. It started right at check-in when the front desk staff informed us that the area was not safe, and they would need to lock the doors at night. Their reasoning? They were located across the street from a park notorious for local drug deals. This immediately set a tone of unease for the entire stay.
The issues continued with our room. The air conditioning was broken, and it took three requests before any action was taken. When we called for the third time late in the day, we were told they couldn’t get a technician to fix it. Instead, they moved us to another room, which didn’t even have the king-sized bed we had originally booked. This room switch felt like a downgrade, rather than a solution.
As if that wasn't enough, both rooms we stayed in were crawling with spiders in the window crevices, and stink bugs were randomly scattered throughout the property. The lobby had a constant, overwhelming smell of sewage, making it unpleasant to even walk through. To make matters worse, the TV in the lobby was always set to Fox News, which was frustratingly unavoidable.
The hotel advertised a "free continental breakfast," but this turned out to be a complete joke. The breakfast was extremely limited and only served at 7 a.m. until it ran out, which, as we learned, was by 8 a.m. No egg patties were left by then. To make matters worse, another guest warned us to stay away from the apple juice a

The air conditioner in the room didn't really work, but it wasn't super hot out so I didn't bother reporting it. Also, it's not really anything to do with the hotel, but the buildings by the parking lot are falling down.

Nice basic property close to Warren Street. Refrigerator in the room. Nice service

Where shall I start? Blood stains on the carpet and upon closer inspection, BLOOD SPATTER ON THE WALL. No one was ever at the front desk. You have to call a number to get someone to come. The door to lobby is left propped open with no attendant at the desk. The bed was full of dust mites (I’m allergic and woke up covered in bumps). No maid service unless you stay 3 days. All this for 250 dollars a night!

Dirty, property looks abandoned .
Had to ask for light bulbs
up charged $30 a night for a bathtub you could not use .
When asked for a drain stopper none was provided.
No one should be duped into staying here by looking at fake reviews

This hotel is convenient to Olana and other tourist destinations, and it's reasonably priced. The room was clean and comfortable. There were a few knicks in the wall paint. The breakfast was standard fare. The hotel is across from the park and there were quite a few unhoused people hanging about. I wouldn't go out after dark. That is why I give this hotel a so-so rating.

We could not check in since no one was at front desk.
Place looks like a slum.

Somewhat outdated hotel but decent room and comfortable bed.
Unfortunately the Staff was nowhere to be found. Lucky for us they picked up the phone and showed up five minutes later so we could check in. We saw one of them when they put out frozen bagels for breakfast the following morning. They quickly disappeared and there was no service or help whatsoever afterwards. People came in to the lobby but left 10-15 minutes later when they did not even pick up the phone - this during and after breakfast. Had to walk around town to get change for the laundry machine. At the price point we paid we expected a lot more from this booking.

The old adage “you get what you pay for”. Poorly staffed, adequate accommodations.

Check in is good . The owner/Manager / Front desk help I’m not shore how many hats he actually wears. No body is there in morning for check out, if you have any questions or concerns you are out of luck. I would only use this hotel as a LAST RESORT . I have baton in the hotel 4-5 times between 8-12 noon to find out from other customers the same concerns. LAST RESORT HOTEL

The facilities were out of date and the amenities were limited for such an expensive room. Location was good and the beds were clean, but the property needs an update.

Came in 5pm to check in. No one at the desk. Waited around, no one came.
After 1hours was able to check-in. The dated room walls, windowsill, bathroom floor, a/c were all were very dirty. A/C not working, tv not working, phone to call reception no signal, shower splashing all over bathroom. Went down stairs to ask for help, no one in the front desk, no surprise there!
Terrible experience, do not recommend. Very overpriced. Not an experience I would want to repeat.

Broken bathroom fixtures and noisy ally outside window. And paper thin walls. Could hear everything.

The place was simple but breakfast is included and the price is good. Staff was friendly.

The front desk staff I spoke with when I called to say I had left my metal medicine container with my injectable medication in the refrigerator, was horribly rude, sarcastic and kept speaking over me. He said the medicine was not in the refrigerator and I must have it. This person should not be in the hospitality business. I will be contacting the Chamber of Commerce to lodge a complaint for this hotel.

Good location. Bicycle friendly. Reasonable value in Hudson.
2.0 / 5.0
It’s really, really old. The floor in my room was totally slanted, so the foot of the bed was higher than the head of the bed. . And the tv was grainy. The breakfast bar was mostly packaged items, not much selection. But, the staff was friendly and helpful. And it was fairly quiet.

A little worn around the edges but clean and a good bang for the buck. Great location. Walking distance to just about everywhere In Hudson
