Perfect location. Didn’t realize our room was on the third floor, but we managed!!

Great value

I had doubts about a self check in a not-a-hotel experience.
Check in was easy, our room was beautiful, with the air conditioning on, ready for us to collapse on a hot summer day.
A very well run establishment.
A block off a very busy commercial street with lots of walkable options.
A great stay in a lovely town.

Beautiful renovation of an older home into suites.Suite was well appointed, comfortable and spacious.Everything was very clean

Communication was clear - no on-site staff. Everything was coded entry but we had everything we needed and there was coffee and snacks in the kitchen. There were also umbrellas for use. Everything was very clean and the decor was cute. AC and fans for the hot weekend we were there. In our top floor suite, the bathroom is open but around the corner from the bedroom. It was fine with us but others may want to be aware. We would definitely stay here again.

Very upscale room. Access to an outdoor deck and a small kitchenette. Top notch towels and soaps. Room was fairly small. Quiet street on block from center of Hudson.

It was such an easy and pleasant experience. Loved the self check in and all the coaching/info/helpfull tips via text by the management. Very useful and prompted right on time. I never thought I'd like a no contact check in or stay but I must say it was flawless.
The facilities were impeccable and so was my room. I stayed at suite #5 at the very top, flooded with light and very very quiet. Nicely furnished.
All in all a great deal and super nice experience.

My stay at the The Nest was incredibly comfortable and convenient, would definitely return and recommend to others!

The Nest is in the heart of Hudson, NY -- it's easy to access everything that makes the town fun and interesting. My room was clean and bright, The hotel is in an historic building that has been carefully renovated. The hotel is just off the Empire State Trail, so it's easily accessible to bikepackers. Management accommodated some needs that arose because I was traveling by bicycle. There's safe bike storage in the building's locked outside yard. Would happily return.

The Nest is a charming, nicely restored and attractively decorated old house. Because breakfast is NOT provided, it’s not a B&B, but more of a small inn. I can only speak about my own room, but the furnishings seemed to have been chosen with the priority being their look, rather than their function. My room had enough space for a chest of drawers and a small desk / table, but had neither, so it was a challenge to unpack my suitcase and there was no place to work on my computer, or eat a take-out meal. If my husband had been with me, these shortcomings would have been even more problematic. Lastly, there’s an art piece over the bed that really should be replaced with something that has less potential to offend, this being essentially a public space. These are all issues that can be fixed and this room could be much closer to perfect.

The check in experience was wonderful and the bar is a high straight up 5 outa 5!

Beautiful clean and stylish room. But be aware that this is 2 key pad ck ins to both the bldg and to room. No lobby or front desk, no staff. We have stayed in many such places, but none that advtsd themselves as a hotel.
Also Expedia apparently did not get my reservation to the Nest staff. When I arrived I had no code from the property and no way to enter. My bad in part for not reading the very small print on my confirmation. Fortunately I was able to reach the management. But only after 15-20 minutes on the porch in very cold weather.

Excellent location! Very cool place, but no ice. Ice buckets in room. Owner told me to go to a local deli to get ice. Took my 7th month pregnant niece away. Wanted to do some mocktails in room and relax. Room was warm and ac barely came on. TV very hard to use. Again a very nice room, but some changes need to be made.

We had a lovely stay in the second floor two-bedroom suite, which was beautifully appointed and spotless, with wonderfully comfortable beds. There is a wide array of television options, and four different ways to make complimentary coffee in the common kitchen area, as well as a variety of teas and snacks. It i a one block walk to Warren Street and all the beautiful shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay at The Nest again.

Had to find a last minute place in Hudson. The Nest was nicely appointed and comfortable. Bring earplugs though - lots of street noise; cars, garbage trucks, street cleaning, church bells chiming the hour and train whistles! Closed windows do not keep out noise.

Very nice one-night stay in the heart of Hudson. Very comfortable. Self check-in and check-out worked flawlessly.

Very quiet area. The only suggestion I have is the air conditioning should have been in the bedroom area instead of the bathroom bc it doesn’t reach the bedroom as well. But overall it was great stay!

Nicely renovated older property with modern conveniences. Lovely town with historic architecture.

Property was very accommodating and clean, however wasn’t happy on having to get out of bed to turn off lights. The sink counter in bathroom seemed to have water gather and drip on floor. Otherwise, the place was immaculate. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a subdivided house with no on-site staff, one block from the main business street in Hudson. My room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, despite being in the front of the house. The bathroom looked recently renovated. E-mail communication and entry/parking instructions were plentiful and detailed.

House and room very clean and nicely decorated. Can walk to shops and restaurants on Warren Street and vicinity. Coffee and snacks free in common kitchen, very satisfied

This is a great place to stay!! Very very close to all the shops and eateries! Liked the fact that it was off a side street but yet close to everything! The room was very clean, as was the entire property! Great snacks, water and fruits were also available! We highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back in the future!

Well located within town. Would stay again.

Lovely place to stay for a night, and met my criteria being within a 10 min walk of the Amtrak train station. In addition, was quiet, but only a block away from the main street of Hudson. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were clean, comfy, nice decor, there was a cove downstairs with snacks and a kettle to make tea/coffe. Check in-out was really easy. Thanks Michael!

Very nice place, especially at the price point! Loved the furniture decor, the bathroom toiletries, and the bed sheets. The bed is a sleep number bed and for some reason, I couldn’t get used to it, but my husband slept well. I also appreciated the free snacks and coffee in the kitchen area. Great stay overall!

A lot of thought was put into renovating the building to make the spaces comfortable and functional. The bed was very comfortable and made up with premium linens, I don’t usually sleep that well when away from home, but got a good nights rest here. The check in was contactless and very simple, the owner was very quick to answer my questions too. The room I occupied was spotlessly clean, with its own bathroom and heating/cooling systems. The location was perfect for local coffee shop and restaurants - although there was also a coffee machine, kettle, and microwave available in the kitchenette. Ample free parking was available on the street, with 2 handicap spots very close by if needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Easy check-in process. Right in the heart of Hudson.

Nice place but my room, large, had weird artwork over bed. I could hear everything the guest above me did. Tumbler on door rotated freely so hard to lock. Convenient and easy.

Great location in Hudson. The Nest Hudson is an old house so if you don’t like creaky floors or hearing neighbors you might want to pass on this property. The signage says the rooms are serviced daily, but we went a day without service and had to reuse our towels. There is no one on site except the cleaning staff maybe 11am-3pm. One maintenance issue was the bathroom sink was nearly completely clogged - I pulled out the stopper and cleaned it myself - my girlfriend was very grossed out. Also, the shower handle fixture is cracked - it works, but if it were me I’d replace it. Importantly, the HVAC was good - very important on cold winter nights. The “kitchen” is very bare bones - you cannot really prepare a meal unless you are just reheating something in the microwave. The bedroom lacked a table, even a small one which was unfortunate as my girlfriend and I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles together - and no way we were doing that on the floor. My overall rating of 4 out of 5 might have been more like 3.5 but the price was reasonable compared to a lot of other properties in Hudson. And the location was excellent - easy walk to the train station, Hudson Brewing, and the restaurants on Warren Street.
