The hotel staff was good. The people are pleasant. The room was less comfortable. The mattress was terrible and was not comfortable at all. I left the hotel with back and muscles aching. The air conditioning was central without the possibility to control it, though the electronic display reacted to the changes, not the air conditioning. it was freezing in the room.

It was Perfect
We will come again

The hotel was good, remember 5 stars of Chinese it is not 5 stars of the whole world. The food was mediocre, vegetarians do not have too many options. The staff was courteous and always served in the best way possible. The room was clean but not the cleanest there is.
4.1
Great place, far from the city center.
The hotel should provide shuttle services for free.

Everything was perfect especially the kind service of all the staff and Management!

The staff are extremely helpful, polite and friendly starting the fromt office, restaurant. Beach and even the bellman and laundry. Food was perfect 👌 at night. Breakfast was cool but I recommend really having breakfast after.. old in elmashraba dahab directly infromt of sea. Mr. Arfa and Mr. Wael one of the bests managers you can have in le meridein. Very cheerful and always supportive.

I stayed there a few times over the years and always loved the luxurious tranquil feel about that place but was very disappointed with my last visit in November 2019.
They introduced animation program which no one enjoyed so the team kept dancing by themselves near the pool. But the music is SO loud you can hear it everywhere including your room and it lasts the whole day every day!
Don't go unless you enjoy Arabian disco all day long.

I stayed in LeMeridien in the end of October early November. It is my favourite time in Egypt because it is neither too hot nor cold and sea temperature comfortable as well. This hotel treated as the best in Dahab, so in spite it isnt the best in Egypt it is good to stay when you here.LeMeridien is quite far from Lighthouse - Dahabs down town so youll need constantly travel by taxi but it is really cheap here so it isnt an issue at all, but a bit annoying. The hotel isnt new, but preserved in good condition. It is worth mentioning that staff really tried their best to fix all issues I claimed and did it quick: faucet in a shower, balcony door locker, safe battery, etc, but to be honest it is better to simply check the room before my arrival :)We had all inclusive package and it was really good when in the beginning we were eating by a-la cart restaurant (it was really littlle of guests so management decided it was better option to buffet menu). But if you have not all inclusive or full board package the prices in restaurants are expensive - I think twice more that in Lighthouse sea embankment restaurants.Beach is cozy and when a little of guest here it is awesome. There is a sportclub, billiard pool, ping-pong and suana as entertainent. Diving center also was labeled but I havent seen any life there, but it didnt affect me - Im a technical diver and dived in specialised dive center outside. There is a children playground but no signs of kids club.

The place is great amazing big pools and beautiful beach. The only problem is the shatels that come only twice a day and the place is far from the market (50 lira per taxi)

Worst experience at a “5-star” hotel of all time. We made numerous complaints and it turns out the complaints weren’t even shared with the manager. They wouldn’t serve us water or soft drinks because we were waiting for our room to be prepared so we didn’t have a room number. Even after we told them we were happy to pay for it, they still wouldn’t serve us. No toilet paper. No working phone the entire trip. No internet. We asked for bug spray (because of the weather there are bugs everywhere) it didn’t come until a day and a half later. The AC and fridge were busted so we had to wait for them to fix it. I could go on. Honestly, you’re better off staying at nice guesthouse - where we decided to go today after this terrible experience.

The pools were really amazing, very clean and they had nice layout. The beach was gorgeous, and it had easy access to swim in good parts of the sea. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

The hotel is beautiful, its clean, modern and has many great facilities (swimming pool, gym, sauna). The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. It is quiet and in a scenic location.
The breakfast is poor, very limited options and no variety. Every day it was the same standard breakfast with no taste. Fruits were not fresh,Was very difficult to find the washroom (you had to walk to the font desk and use the washrooms there). Lunch and dinner were the same...over all the culinary menu and the poor breakfast, lunch and dinner options made me reconsider coming back.
Staff were nice, polite and helpful. Check in was easy and great.

Tranquil, peaceful - for those who are not interested in 'tribal' gratification on holiday. If you want to dance the night away to 'agadoo' etc...... go to Sharm and if you want peace and tranquility, come to Le Meridien, Dahab.

This was a faultless hotel which made for a briiliant stay. The staff truly know what good service is and this made the stay. We will book again definitely.
Fantastic
Few people mentioned poor food - this is not the case - there is loads of variety and it is very good

There's no doubt this is an elegant impressive hotel, with (nearly) everything you would expect from a five star hotel. It is big, but low-rise and well-designed so that it doesn't feel as if there are lots of people there. It has lots of pools, salt water as well as fresh (chlorinated) water; a cold (?!) jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms, a nice private beach, etc etc. You can have massages on the beach, and the masseur is very good. The niggles were that the service was a little slow and inattentive at times; the place was crying out for a spa (which apparently is in the process of being built); our room wasn't cleaned until very late in the day; the A/C was very noisy. The worst of all was that I got a stomach bug on the second day from something I ate or drank - totally unacceptable in a 5* hotel. So mostly good ... but a few things they could certainly improve to make it outstanding.
4.1
Very enjoyable hotel, where they always try to satisfy the customer. They go above and beyond in effort, for example bringing your towels to the sunlounger, and setting your lounger out for you. Very nice to have access to the hotels private beach. Buffet is ok, but not the greatest selection of food. 10 minutes drive from Dahab itself, but the hotel provides a free scheduled shuttle bus.

We've just come back from spending 8 nights at this gem of a hotel.
Staff are super friendly, nothing is too much trouble and resort rooms are definitely value for the price. The hotel runs twice daily shuttles to town but we opted on a number of occasions to catch a taxi to the centre of town - about 10 minutes by car for 30ep (approx $6 AUD).
Whilst having to commute to town may seem a downside, this resort has it's own beach, is spread out and offers more facilities and room than those clustered along the beachside in Dahab.
For a relaxing stay would definitely recommend this hotel.
4.1
VEry quiet place, few km from the city center. Everything in the resort: diving center, windsurfing school, place for kids etc. Good food, didnt have any problem with stomack ( neither any of my friends ). Hotel placed at some hight above the see. Outstanding views, especialy sunsets.... If you feel tired and really looking for place to rest, far from noise....thats the place for you!
