The hotel is out by the jetty and the marsh which great if you're looking to be close to nature. It is slightly more than a one mile walk to the business district of Commercial or Bradford. Not convenient in the dark at night unless you plan to taxi to/from. The beds are VERY low to the floor and it could be difficult for some to manage getting in and out. I enjoyed the location, the breakfast, the view, and the stores with fires each night. My one critique would be the hotel should add privacy film to the floor to ceiling windows that allows the guests in the room to see out when the curtains are open, but doesn't allow the guests from other rooms to look into your room. Particularly at breakfast, as people are walking by the ground floor units near the office, it feels like you're a circus animal if you want to open your blinds and see the sunrise or the tide come in.

Women's Week 2024. My first trip to PTown. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. My flight was delayed, and they were so accommodating. The service is top notch. So friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and tastefully decorated. The outdoor bier garden and fire pits provide a breathless view of the moors. The tide changes and wildlife viewing are amazing to behold. Very close to downtown, but secluded enough to feel private. I will definitely stay again.

Amazing experience overall! Excellent and very friendly staff. Beautiful rooms and views. Room deck and breakfast was an extra bonus. Pool area is great too. Housekeeping is excellent. Highly recommend!

The view is stunning of the marsh. One of the best in Provincetown. The rooms are beautiful, however, previous reviews are accurate. Rooms are tight, furniture impractical, and no place to put anything. The staff, outdoor space and amenities good, but the rooms are tough. Lark, please listen to your reviewers. This property had potential.

It’s such a lovely place.. quiet, beautiful scenery, awesome staff yet close to everything! We loved the pool and bikes and being able to walk into town and bike to the beach. It’s an awesome spot!

Got woken up by someone in the only room above us super early on Sunday. To pay $655 for the night is a lot for that place. Says Adults only but there were kids??

We had a terrific,stay at Awol Every member of the staff makes you fell welcome. With many free things included. From continental breakfast in the morning, coffee, ice tea, water, combucha on tap available all day. To a set of 20 city bicycles free to use.free parking. Heated pool. And the view is to die for. 3 shared fire pits to complete the evening. All only 15 minutes walk from all the restaurants and stores on Commercial street.

We went for an overnight to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was perfect for the occasion. Everyone was super nice. The bikes they offer were such a bonus as it may travel into the center of town very easy and fun. The s’mores at night by the fire pits were the perfect way to end the day! We’ll definitely be back!

The property was absolutely amazing and the service was even more incredible! The staff was so attentive, friendly, and helpful. Would definitely recommend as it feels like a retreat and the main town area is just a bike ride away. Will be back!

Fantastic views but the platform bed and couch are awful-getting in and out of bed is beyond difficult if you have back, hip or knee issues. In addition there are no nightstands, dressers or closet to put your belongings away. Survivable for up to two nights but not for a week, think of glamping..

Amazing weekend at the awol. Surprised my husband with two nights here and it was exceptional. Particularly Sawyer and Andrew at the front desk who surprised us with a gift basket and rose upon arrival. Such great vibes and a perfect weekend in Ptown. Can’t wait to go back!!

Found the platform bed too low and a tripping hazard. Lighting non existent, No nightstand. Inadequate storage. Bathroom lighting hanging low over sink. Outside grounds lovely with amazing views and pool area lovely. Enjoyed the fire pit.

This hotel was super cute, had an amazing view, and was quiet. My only complaint is that there is no coffee machine in the room, and while they do include a lovely continental breakfast and coffee in the office, it doesn't open until 8am. If you're an early riser and need coffee to start your day, the earliest coffee shop opens at 7am and it's a good 15-20 minute walk.

We had an amazing stay at AWOL. The property is just as beautiful as the pictures. The free bikes allow you to ride to the beach or ride into town which is very close by. The views from the property are breathtaking, overlooking the marsh. From sunrise to sunset the property offers everything you could want for a relaxing getaway.
