I almost never write reviews, but I loved this little place so much that I feel compelled. I arrived three hours before the guaranteed check in time of 4:00 pm (the hotel was completely full), and so sat in the pleasant lobby at a nice work table working that entire time. The staff behind the counter was invariably pleasant, polite, and full of information. They seemed to bend over backwards to accommodate when they could. If someone was checking in with a dog, they (without prompting) informed the guest of all the dog-friendly restaurants within walking distance. There was very tasty lemon ice water available, and an ice machine. Coffee and tea too. I had a 5th (top) floor room facing the street (north). It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and well-maintained. There was a Juliet balcony, and a secondary, noise-canceling sliding door on it. After I checked out, they kept my bag for me for a few hours. Later that day, I realized I had misplaced my prescription glasses and I called them later to see if they had turned up. They said they hadn't seen them, but would leave a note for the next shift to see if they had. And I got a call the next morning from them to follow up to confirm the next shift hadn't either. Such service! I really loved this little place! The front desk staff were wonderful!

5 days business trip. Great art deco style hotel. Staff very helpful. Good rooms with kitchen facilities. Located in restaurant and bars area short walk to space needle and pike market. Walked to convention centre every day. Only downside was zombies up and down street to tram station but they don’t bother you!

The hotel doesn’t offer parking and we weren’t able to arrive until 9:30 pm. Had to find our own parking and it was spendy.

We need more John’s, Brent’s and Sampson’s in the world! The staff were amazing! The hotel was very clean and great location. We walked pretty much everywhere we had to go! They went above and beyond for accommodating our needs. I will definately stay there again! Thank you Belltown Inn!

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Close to a lot of things. Will stay again.

Stay away from this place at all costs. Customer service was horrible, the room could not accommodate my son’s pack and play so we wanted to cancel the reservation (we had spent a total of 30 minutes in the room) and were told there was nothing they could do. We left and were not offered any sort of refund or accommodation. Do. Not. Stay. Here.

I had a great stay at the Belltown Inn! The location is fantastic—close to all the key attractions in Seattle and within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff and wonderful accommodations. Located within 10 minutes walking of all Seattle’s attractions.
Already planning our next stay.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were kind and accommodating. Overall a wonderful stay in Seattle for the Usher concert. Thank you Belltown Inn!

This was a one-day stay between a work trip and being hosted by friends. It was cute, amidst walkable destinations and met my needs perfectly. I would gladly stay there again.

We love this hotel, excellent location close enough to Pike Place and the space needle.
The hotel is always clean and the staff are very friendly.
We had a room overlooking the courtyard and it was very quiet
This is our hotel of choice when we visit Seattle.
I’m not going to lie there are some weird characters near the hotel, but we never had any trouble and the hotel is safe and secure.

The hotel is nice. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff is WONDERFUL!!
The Biscuit place next door has amazing food!!
Like I said the hotel is wonderful. However the hotel is surrounded by homeless encampments. It did not bother us during the day but at night it got really sketchy. I would not recommend for long stays or if you’re traveling with children

It was good, loved that they included snacks in the room.

maybe a bit dated, but serious value in downtown Seattle. Genuinely friendly staff, central location, but with that comes a somewhat gamey neighborhood.

The in was very nice and clean! The area is not so pleasing but I felt safe walking to the Korean Bamboo fir dinner adjacent to the hotel and to the convenient store up the block and Biscuits is right outside the front door with great breakfast. We walked to Pikes Market but it was work the walk to see other shops. But the hills whew! But we made it! I plan on booking here again my next visit.

Great location. Front desk staff was wonderful

The Belltown Inn was a really nice hotel. The front desk staff was amazing. They offered up suggestions for restaurants and things to do close by. This hotel is located in the middle of all of the interesting sites in downtown Seattle as well as close to pier 66 for the cruise ships.

Cute and comfy hotel that is very central to downtown Seattle. Walking distance to Space needle, Pike market amd
tons of restaurants and shops. It had a coffee pot , fridge and microwave in the room .
Just make sure if you add a friend on after you book to write their name on the check in sheet you sign.

I was a solo traveler and it was a warm and welcoming experience. I enjoyed a hot shower which was quite warm which I love. I also got a good nights sleep after my days events. I also liked that I was given an upgrade and the room was quite cute and comfortable. The next day I checked out and enjoyed a complimentary cup of coffee. Thank you so much.

Super friendly staff at the desk, bright comfortable room, welcoming lobby. Excellent location—we just parked the car and walked everywhere from there. Although there are some sketchy characters around (like most of downtown Seattle), there was 24-hour security at the front door. An overall excellent day; I would recommend it, and I would stay there again.

Wrapped up our trip in Seattle. Loved how the hotel felt so bustling abd populsr and front desk were very welcoming.
The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Fantastic hotel for the price. Excellent location, great perks, and frienly service. We will certainly be back!

Stayed here the night before our cruise. Staff were very helpful and there are some great places to eat within a few blocks. Easy walk to local attractions like the Space Needle and Pike Place Market. Walking distance to Pier 66, but the hotel offers a shuttle as well.

Best stay at very short notice after a terrible night in another hotel the night before. Checked us in early, staff were super friendly and the location was amazing. Yes, there are a few homeless people scattered around, but they never bothered us and the hotel is locked after 10pm with security on site. Will make this my number one choice when I’m back in Seattle!

It was a very nice hotel, but it was very noisy. One of our key cards didn't work, but we didn't get it fixed because the lobby was always so crowded. But the room was clean, employees were friendly, and it was in a good location as far as proximity to everything we needed.

Every employee was super friendly and helpful! Above and beyond everytime.

They said they had security for their parking. They called at 4:45 in the morning. To let us know, our windows have been smashed. And our car was robbed along with four others. The first use of the toilet, the sewage from the place back into our room, I had to shut off the water. Did you not have maintenance or a toilet plunger. So couldn't use the bathroom. They charged me thirty five dollars for the parking.Just to be smashed and robbed. They do not serve coffee. Do not have any coffee, so at four forty five.In the morning, no coffee had to drive home. They only do coffee at limited hours. Which is very odd for seattle. You are constantly bombarded by homeless people in drug users openly burning drugs next to the hotel. They were even asking me for money while I was assessing the damage to my car. If personal safety is an issue to you do not stay here. We got no apologies, no follow up and no one was even available to help us clean up the glass in our car so we could drive home.

Excellent location at a low price. It's a 10 minute walk from Pike Place. Small and clean room with a kitchen sink, small refrigerator, and 4 cup coffee maker. They will provide plates if you ask. Great for a stay when you want to be out doing activities rather than spending a bunch of time in the hotel.

Good for a one night stay; my room was very, very small! Bathroom extremely small too, but they have installed shelving to help with storing your stuff and to try and make the space more efficient. It’s an old building so some quirks are to be expected. The staff were really nice and friendly. It’s a short walk or Uber ride to the Clipper or cruise boat terminals which is likely the main appeal of this hotel.
2.5
Great hotel, quick walk to Pike Place and all that fun stuff.
Staff was great, and Prince at check in was, well, a prince! Overnight before hopping on a cruise was perfect. Note, you could drag your luggage straight down a few blocks to the pier, but take an Uber, definitely worth it it in convenience.
Our petite queen room was just what we needed (although “petite” seems to mean a full/double bed…).
Will definitely stay here again for any cruises out os Seattle.

Room clean and neat, microwave and refrigerator worked great. Inn has an enclosed courtyard and with seating and an amazing rooftop deck with great views. Seattle is a beautiful city.
2.5
Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless and quick. Only negative is how slow the elevator takes.
2.0
It was overall a good stay. Main issues were the gave us a room with someone else’s stuff in it first, and the area is sketchy.
Mistakes happen, but makes you worry about if they gave my room to someone else.
Beyond that though, the hotel was more than satisfactory, and I would heavily consider there again next time I’m in Seattle
1.5
The location close to the major Seattle attractions. Beds are comfortable and place is clean. The only complaint I had is that there is many homeless and the parking is not secure or monitored and the staff has no remorse they just give you a assistant manager card and still take you parking fee money of $35 each night.even when vehicles tires get slashed and send you on your way.
2.5
Great Stay with welcoming staff. Very professional and if i ever make it back to Seattle i would stay again

Belltown Inn was a good quality stay. Cute rooftop patio was a highlight. It’s 24 hours, but has quiet time overnight so it’s a nice stop for some end of the night stargazing. The surrounding neighborhood feels a bit tough, and rougher from what I remember from a few years ago. Just be kind and a don’t be a dummie.

Wow.. just wow.
The staff at the front desk was the most friendly, helpful, accommodating, group of people that we have ever encountered at any hotel. They go above and beyond to make your stay incredible. They would get 100 stars!
The hotel is obviously a little older, the bed was really firm (which is why I deducted 1 star), but the rooftop deck, complimentary bikes, and courtyard were amazing.

We stayed for a week and had a blast! Rachel greeted us and gave us some great recommendations, Melba helped us find our way several time and sort out a ride to the airport and we got to chat about great music (KEXP!) with Dorjon. It was like staying at a friend’s place in that regard.
The Belltown Inn is right at the heart of everything - an easy walk to Pike Place, several music venues, Pioneer Square and close to every bus tour you need to get around. We did our own hop on hop off from here with no fuss.
The room was great and we were able to borrow plates etc to eat in the room. The rooftop patio was lovely and overall it was great. It was a little noisy, but we travel with earplugs as a rule so we were fine. YMMV.
