Haarlem is a beautiful city and we are very fortunate to have stayed in the best B&B in town! Henk and Annemarie are gracious hosts who make you feel right at home. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the breakfast fresh made daily . We loved our visit and will cherish our memories for many years !

It seems petty to mention the stairs when everything else was so good but they are an interesting challenge for the not so young. However Ann Marie and Henk cheerfully helped with my luggage which was much appreciated.

Hotel Malts was an exceptional stay. Professionally run with sweet touches that made us feel welcome from the first moment. Answered all of our questions kindly and gave helpful information, gave us tea, coffee, fresh oj and pastries galore. The rooms are outstanding! Floor to ceiling windows, well appointed WC’s. Step out the door and you are basically on the main square. Because of this hotel, Haarlem was the favorite stop of our 3 week trip in Europe.

Hotel Malts and the proprietors are absolutely charming. I came to the area for work and found it easy to manage, beautiful and clean. We were able to walk easily for great food, shopping and sights. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend to travelers of all types. Especially good for first-time travelers to Europe, as the hosts are so helpful and the amenities favorable to all. Love, love, love Hotel Malts!!

Henk & Annemarie were the most amazing hosts to their quaint and cozy B&B. I researched many different places to stay initially decided on a large hotel and was lucky enough to find this amazing place. We rented the room with the large terrace which I highly recommend. It is room number three. Every day they had a homemade breakfast with fresh squeezed juice as well as other amenities. We will definitely come back here as well as recommend it to our friends and family. You cannot go wrong with this place.

This was an AMAZING STAY with the best location, and stellar hosts. We loved it so much we stayed longer. It was a highlight of the trip -- both Hotel Malts AND visiting Haarlem, a beautiful and vibrant town with a refined aesthetic.

Very friendly hosts, Annemarie and Henk are always very obliging, help and always give you a good clue and have an answer to every question you have never beeing on the edge. The hotel is very well organized, very clean and the breakfast ist great. Being again in that region, we definitively will stay again in The Malts.

I loved this B&B. I was greeted and given a very nice coffee and a comprehensive map of the town. The highlights of the map were reviewed in detail. I was unable to attain a reservation for dinner so Henk and Annemarie also helped me secure a reservation. Breakfast was divine. There was an honor bar. My room was very comfortable. There really is no place else to stay in Haarlem

Henk and AnnMarie were an absolute delight. They spent time with us to be sure we knew what to see and do in Haarlem. Delicious European breakfast each day. Coffee machine is ready all day and honor bar for wine and beers after being out all day

I cannot say enough good things about the personal attention and friendliness of Henk and Annemarie (owners). Every morning we were met with warm smiles and immediate response to our slightest request. The facilities are immaculate and while spartan, more than adequate. The morning breakfast was excellent with lots of variety, always fresh, and well presented. They helped with luggage, travel arrangements, and info about the best sites to visit in Haarlem. You can't go wrong with Hotel Malts!

Outstanding B&B! Very welcoming with an excellent location to see all the sights in Haarlem. Hosts Henk and Annemarie are wonderful, extremely helpful and take the time to make local sight and restaurant recommendations to enhance your stay. Each morning we were greeted with hand squeezed orange juice, coffees and a lovely breakfast. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable complete with fast Wi-Fi. A perfect stay which exceeded our expectations!

This really is an amazing small hotel in the centre of Haarlem which is close to Amsterdam. The owners (and operators) of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They seem to speak several languages quite fluently and serve breakfast every morning. It is a perfect location to enjoy a typical Dutch town centre with museums and many restaurants close by.

Good location but no parking or even the possibility to drop off bags. Very friendly and helpful proprietors, nice breakfast. The weather was exceptionally hot during our stay but our room seemed to be the hottest.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone that can climb steep stairs. Rooms are comfortable and clean. You are made to feel at home from the minute you arrive, and the location is wonderful.

The owners, Hank and Annemarie, are great hosts. Always helpful and fun to be around. Room 8 was modern, comfortable, and clean. The daily breakfast was very nice and healthy. The hotel is close to the airport bus, the train station, good food, museums, the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park, and Amsterdam. The city of Haarlem is a very special place. Incredibly beautiful. You won't regret staying at the B&B Hotel Malts.
