No one advised us how to come to the golf course at the next door! There was no door man in the morning.

Need a car to get there, or a taxi from a somewhat distant train station. The TALL kannon-sama (Buddhist Goddess of Mercy) is the landmark to look for. The hotel is also tall, but the entrance is on a back road from the main road so a little tricky to find. Entrance driveway not marked well when arriving at night. Look for the Golf Course entrance (same entry point) but even then it is a bit tough to find at night. All you can eat buffet breakfast. Lobby bar with beer on tap, various whiskies, Japanese sake, simple mixed drinks (gin-tonic), but limited if you want a mixed cocktail (no manhattans; that elicited only a pained look on the bartenders face which means no in Japan). No large communal bath (ofuro/rotemburo). NOT an onsen hotel. Beautiful view of the golf course, mountains, etc. from the hotel rooms. But, not a scenic neighborhood when you drive out onto the streets.

The hotel is impressive. The facilites are ok although the Tv is not attach to a cable. It is ideal to family trips and honeymoons. It is clean and the neighborhood is friendly.
