Very cute & great staff!! Close to everything! They sent a survey before the stay which I was almost not going to fill out but glad I did because they were soooo sweet to provide us an Olympics gift bag when we arrived! The only negative is that I could hear almost every door shutting around us, but I don’t think that would stop us from staying again.

Great customer service, great location, absolutely no complaints

Excellent property
Wonderful breakfast
Could not fault

Wonderful location, close to the Metro and a pleasant walk past art galleries and shops en route to the Louvre or the Musee d’Orsay. Rooms in the back are small but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with very generous morning hours. Staff at the reception desk were cheerful and very helpful. I look forward to returning in the future.

All of the staff was super helpful. The rooms were quite small, but they were also very cute. The beds were comfortable. It would have been nice if the AC was an option, but the hotel does not turn it on until summer- understandable. Also, I picked the hotel because the description cited an elevator, and I saw it in the lobby, but it was not offered as an option in bringing the bags up and down. It was near everything, but we did not eat there. We might of if there was a bar and small bites to order throughout the day.

The staff at this hotel is the best feature. From arrival to departure. The hotel is a typical parisian hotel ..small and tastefully designed. However the HR person is doing a great job with staff selection and training. Smiling, respectful, helpful, kind.

This is the third time we have stayed at Hotel des Deux Continents. It is a lovely hotel in one of Paris's best areas.

Lovely hotel very nice for family of four.

Excellent Left Bank location in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, couple of minutes from métro and buses, minutes walk to the Seine, Musée du Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Musée d'Orsay, Jardin du Luxembourg, shopping, dining, etc. Hotel spreads back through interconnecting buildings, which gives an added charm. A charm further enhanced by my room for one, which was small but totally perfect, a comfortable haven furnished and conceived to very high level. Great staff too!

Location!! Friendly staff! Safe.
Had the family room option for two adults and two teenagers: two adjoined rooms, 3rd building, 5th floor. Clean and comfortable.
Small elevator (holds two with bags,3-4 without but tight. Narrow, manageable stairs for those who walk stairs. No refrigerator in room. And like Paris, older building. In a great central location, walkable to most everything. Enjoy!

Great location, very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast!

Great location nice and quiet
Staff are very friendly and a fantastic breakfast

My wife and I just stayed for four nights. We loved this place. The staff have been friendly and helpful. Even though it's technically a 3:00 check in no one had stayed in our room the night before, we arrived so they got us in at 9am at no extra cost. The breakfast was included in our package and has been good, eggs, croissants, cereal, so enough that even a picky eater can find something good. They provided umbrellas when it was raining. The front desk is always staffed and they are quick to help if you need them.
The location puts you within walking distance of everything you'll want to visit, but you are just far enough off the Seine that it is very quiet.
Now with all of that said, if you are coming from the United States and have never been to Europe you need to understand the rooms and bathrooms are a little smaller than the traditional US hotels but that goes for any hotel in Europe under 1500 a night. For the price here I feel this place is a steal.
When we were leaving we w÷rent sure about our pickup ride and MeRouane at the front desk was quick to help and contact them. We even had the wrong number but he looked up the number and called for our confirmation.

It’s definitely different than what you would expect - charming hotel in the heart of St Germain des Pres - wonderful area, loads of food options. Metro is a couple of blocks away. Super clean room and fantastic service.

Great place to stay, neighborhood was fun, staff were excellent and super helpful

Very run down. I was in a back building accessed from second floor, walked across a kind of roof deck with plastic grass and plastic flowers. Moldy small as soon as you open door to hall, my room smelled like mold and dirty diapers. There was an enormous Ventilation duct venting right outside my window, which is why I could not leave it open when I slept to get fresh air. I have a mild allergy, developed a sore throat and headache, had to sleep with an N95 mask.
Carpeting in hall very dirty.
Staff was just fine. They could not change my reservation for a refund, likely due to booking policies of hotels.com

Beautiful hotel in the perfect neighborhood, Saint Germain. The front desk staff were kind and very helpful with suggestions and directions. The housekeeping staff were excellent. The hotel and our room were very clean. Our room was amazing. We stayed in a two room suite on the top floor. The room was larger than we expected, and great for a family of four. The beds were perfect after long days exploring Paris. It was fairly warm during our stay and the air con worked well. As for the location, it could not be better. A quick walk to the metro, and the neighborhood has everything you need. We were very satisfied with our stay and will recommend this hotel to our family and friends!

Excellent stay. The room was a little to warm but we were able to open the windows. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to others. Great location

Nice team, very friendly, we enjoyed the biscuits left in our room. Overall a good hotel and location for the price. Breakfast was also good.
4.1
Fantastic area for walking access to the Seine, Louvre, shopping and restaurants. Hotel decor is a bit dated, but attentive staff and crisp sheets made up for it. Breakfast in the hotel was ok, but for the price I'd walk and enjoy any and all of the many nearby cafes.

The hotel is in a great area of Paris, and it's within easy walking distance to the Louvre, the Seine, a metro station, and plenty of restaurants. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were very friendly, although they attempted to charge me twice for the hotel tax. (I paid upon check-in, and thankfully, I kept the receipt, as I used it to prove I had already paid when asked to pay again at check-out. It's not a big deal, just poor record keeping.)
Areas for improvement at this hotel:
1. You can't adjust the heat in the room. For me, it was too cold at night, especially in the bathroom. For others, this may not be an issue.
2. There was a light out in the bathroom, so the only light was near its entrance. It was late, and I was too tired to request a repair, so I showered in very dim lighting.
3. There was no shower door or curtain, so water got all over the floor where there was no drain, leaving standing water and making it very damp in the whole bathroom. There was no bathroom fan to help with evaporation.
I believe the nightly rate is a bit too steep given the subpar bathroom facilities.

Charming, quiet, comfortable room for four on the top floor. Excellent service and breakfast. It was also very close to the Louvre and other attractions. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
4.1
Nice and comfortable room.
2 problems: the toilets are too small and without air condition/window and there are no elevator to 2nd floor.

We last visited this property 30 years ago, and it hasn't change. The staff is much younger, and are very sevice oriented. While the hotel certainly looks it's age. The rooms are clean and comfortable,. and the location cannot be veat.

A charming hotel with a professional, helpful staff.

Well located, in the center of the St Germain neighborhood.
Very small rooms, internet working intermittently, elevators also working intermittently, and some of the rooms with no elevator.
Breakfast buffet also disappointing.
Definitely overpriced, mediocre hotel.

Good hotel, friendly staff. Loved how it was central to the things I wanted to see!

Would not recommend this hotel! The room was so small you could barely walk around the bed. The shower was as small as an RV shower. The shower also leaked onto the carpet in the room. So, every time you went in and out of the bathroom you walked on soggy carpet. The female receptionist that worked every day while we were there was extremely rude from the moment we checked into the hotel until the moment we checked out. The male receptionist was always very nice! The breakfast was awful. It was not worth the money. We have stayed in 6 hotels in the last 5 weeks in Europe. This was by far the worst one, especially for the amount of money we paid to stay there!

Our room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Hotel is close to shops/cafes/Louvre museum and other points of interests. Most of all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our luggage were delayed and they helped call the company delivering our luggages. Overall- our stay was great and will definitely come back here again!

Needs updating, carpets in hall are wrinkled and dirty, mildew in bathroom, couldn’t open closet door without moving table, should have been a queen bed for the size of the room
