We had the most wonderful stay. It was exquisite. Unbelievable how perfectly it has been preserved with 14th century stained glass and a view from a fairytale. We were welcomed warmly by David who is a gifted artist and the breakfast was fine dining.
We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay and we’re grateful he shared his gorgeous home.
Don’t hesitate to book.

Wow! What an incredible experience staying at Nuit Blanche. We stayed in the deluxe double room and it was like being in a fairy tale. It will forever leave a wonderful memory for our family. The view of the Church of our lady from our multiple windows was amazing. Do not miss seeing Michelangelo’s Madonna of Brugge in the church! The guesthouse is close to everything - train station an easy walk or Uber. The breakfast was beautiful! Can’t express what a memorable experience this was and we only stayed one night!

Cannot express enough how much we enjoyed staying we. David and his staff were wonderful - and the grounds were… perfect. I will always stay here when in Brugge now.

Loved our stay. We stayed 7 nights which is apparently a long stay for Bruges, but we loved every day of it. Every morning there was a 3 course breakfast that was excellent and tasty as well as slightly different each day and added great value for money in our stay. I did not give 5 stars for cleanliness just because you could see dust behind the bed in areas that you wouldn't always look and the shower drain was very slow. We had the 2 bedroom suite and were not aware that to access the kid bedroom, you have to go out of the master suite into the common stair area, down a short dark hall and into another separate room, the rooms are not connected. Young kids would not likely be comfortable sleeping in that separate room as it was a bit creepy and far from parents, but we made it work for our family. It would be fine for teens or other adults. The area is a tourist attraction, so we heard horse carriages go by our bedroom window all day long, we loved hearing their clip clopping hooves go by. There is almost always a crowd of tourists out front taking photos of the tiny bridge, but you can use the back entrance so you don't have to squeeze through the crowds. I highly recommend a stay here and the host was excellent!

Incredible place! Historic and beautiful. Remarkable view of the church tower from the window.

The house and rooms are very old and full of history and character.
The service and breakfast is perfect.
I particularly enjoyed watching the movie ‘In Brugge’ on the drop down projection screen with surround sound from the massive solid bed. If you like character, oak panelling and led glass windows then look no further.

Nuit Blanche is a fabulous place to stay. The host (David) is gracious, the breakfast is plentiful and beautifully served, the room is outstanding, the shower is warm, and the history of this 15th century building is amazing! Be aware that it is not handicapped accessible

From the moment we walked in the door we were blown away. Our host David was very welcoming and friendly, and provided great recommendations. Our room was clean, well maintained and like something out of a fairly tale. It was modern yet still looked and felt medieval. Our morning breakfast was very tasty and restaurant quality, which is rare for other B&B's we've experienced. The location couldn't have been any better, with the gorgeous cathedral, courtyard, canal and Lovers Bridge visible from our window. We will most definitely be booking again whenever we make it back to Brugge.

A leap back in time with clever and respectful amenities. Possible, and probably the outstanding stay over a span of decades. My partner said the top floor view over a close also topped her life-list.
We will return for a longer stay next fall.

Amazing property and stay! You really feel like you stepped back into medieval times, with all the comfort of modern amenities. The view could not be more picturesque, right next to the famous Boniface Bridge and the Church of Our Lady. The biggest “issue” is getting passed all the tourists taking pictures of the bridge, but the park is closed to the public at night so it is quiet at night. David is a great host, and the breakfast is delicious.

Delightful, old property in the middle of the old city. Walk everywhere. Very quiet at night. Loved our bed and the breakfasts were amazing. David and his daughter were very welcoming hosts.

This guest house built in the 1500s is the epitome of unique. A beautiful property in a beautiful setting.
Having said that this property is not for you if you have any mobility issues. There is no elevator. The stairs are very steep and spiral. We were on the second floor so it was a challenge.
Like most older buildings in Bruge there is no air conditioning. We had a very nice cross wind with the windows wide open. It was necessary because of the exceptionally hot weather. Having the windows open however exposed us to mosquitoes throughout the night.
Our hostess/greeter, Fleur, was very accommodating. Each morning she prepared delicious breakfasts with an extraordinary amount of attention to detail.
The building itself does require some maintenance, it is showing it’s age and the garden/courtyard also required some attention.
Easy walking to nearby restaurants and attractions.

To stay in a place that was so old yet beautifully maintained was a treat. The breakfasts were superb. The host, David, was very attentive and helpful. I can’t say enough good things.

Nuit Blanche was the most special place we have ever had the pleasure to stay! Charming, authentic and comfortable—simply the way to immerse oneself in the old times for a well located stay in Bruges. A serene visit in this artist’s studio…don’t miss the opportunity to stay here!

Had an amazing two night stay here for a visit to Bruges and everything was perfect - the setting of a 15th century manor (with all modern comforts, welcoming hosts, and a delicious breakfast) cannot be beat. This is one of the coolest, most memorable places I’ve ever stayed.

David is such a wonderful host at this beautifully appointed, atmospheric b&b. The gothic Pasionarta room was brimming with history - as well as being very comfortable. This home’s location is perfectly central for sightseeing and restaurants and, as part of the museum complex, has nighttime security that makes for beautifully serene sleep. The fresh and healthy breakfast is the best we’ve ever encountered at a b&b, and the nutritious but delicious ‘breakfast dessert’ is a brilliant innovation. David shared great advice to help us make the most out of our time in Brugge in the way we wanted to travel - so very generous with his time and, as a bonus, you can immerse yourself in his beautiful artworks.

The most amazing location in all of Bruges, just dripping with history. David de Graef is a most gracious host and super talented artist. The breakfasts are works of art in their own right and David was so helpful with our city touring as well. Our room was perfect and had a most amazing view of the cathedral behind us.

I have the most magical fairytale-like experience. From the moment I knocked at the door and was greeted by the host to the amazing mouthwatering breakfast to the way he sat me down and mapped out exactly where I should go, and what I should see in the city everything about Nuit Blanche and the city of Bruges was breathtaking. I arrived from the train earlier than I anticipated and arrived at Nuit Blanche early as well. Mr. DeGraef opened his home to me and treated me better than a 5 star resort would have. He sat me down and opened a map and drew a walking tour for me to experience all that Brugges has to see and more. The room was fit for a queen and indeed, the King and Queen stayed in my very room during their mid-century honeymoon! My view was nothing short of amazing. I opened my window and saw Mr. DeGraeff painting in the garden. I went out to the garden and had a peaceful meditation and despite tourists across the canal, the garden was quiet and elegant. I felt like royalty while I was visiting.
I’d move there in a heartbeat but I will settle for dreaming of returning for another stay in this magical medieval home in the future.

This place was incredible, I wanted something very old and traditional and that’s exactly what we got. The location was perfect and in walking distance from the train station and to the town square and all the sights, and the most beautiful sight was looking out of our window and across the canal to the Church of our lady, lovers bridge is just outside the back, David was a great host if your looking for a modern day hotel then this isn’t for you but if you want to step back in time and stay in a peaceful museum then this is 10/10, the breakfast was amazing and very healthy, David also took time to show us places to go and where to eat to get the best out of our stay. If I could give this more than a 5 star ⭐️ rating I would.

Incredible stay , the owner was very helpful and went out of his way to help us explore . The history of the house is fantastic and the “lovers bridge” borders the property. Location is beyond belief.

Nuit Blanche is like a fairytale come to life. The location is quiet, incredibly picturesque and full of history. The stained glass windows in our room were from between 1480-1500 something! David is an outstanding host, the breakfasts were generous and very tasty, and it was the perfect spot for our days walking around Bruges.

What a unique property! An enchanting B&B in a charming medieval house that has been remodeled just enough to make it convenient, comfortable and thrilling to stay in. Breakfast was lovely, the back garden charming by the lover’s bridge, and host David with his intriguing art fun to talk with. A great experience all around - in a great location!

The location is wonderful, and the age of the building adds to the rather special atmosphere. Our windows were from the 15th century. The kids' room was a little spooky, and down some tricky steps, so we just brought the mattresses from there into our room, no problem. A rather wonderful treat was the pull-down screen in our room, which meant an indoor cinema experience. Bring your own DVDs maybe if you have kids, as there is only one. Breakfast was a bit much - both in terms of quantity and flavour, for us. However, it was beautifully presented and tasted great - I just struggled with such rich food at such an early hour. The art in the building is David's own - very intricate and hugely talented, but quite 'dark'. Interesting for the children, ahem! Very friendly people work here and there is a gorgeous cat. A place to remember. Very glad we stayed.

There is no way to compare Nuit Blanche to a traditional hotel or bed and breakfast. David’s guesthouse operates outside of star ratings and amenity lists. It’s a 500 year old piece of history, it’s quirky, it’s loaded with his art and it’s a part of the Bruges landscape.Delightful food, lovely drink, great conversation and unlimited insight into the city. I’d recommend staying for more than one night. There’s so much to acclimate to.It’s an experience not a hotel stay. A piece of theatre that sticks with you.

David is an awesome host. we arrived late at night due to the our train from London running late, and he stayed up to welcome us. It's a magical place, with an awesome view. The breakfast was incredible 3 courses with fresh orange juice and espresso. He gave us a map with the must visit spots and a route to go over the next day. The host speaks english, flemmish, french and spanish and maybe some othe ones too. Our room had a projector with movies to watch and documentaries about the city. If I could rate this 6 stars I would rate him 7. Gracias David! and sorry for the 7 month delay in our review. We want to go visit again.
