Views that take your breath away! Beautifuo marble floors, soft sheets and just the right pillows. Staff was delightful and the breakfast was enough to take you to dinner.

This place is breathtaking. I had the suite with the jacuzzi and dinner reservations at the restaurant but arrived on a very windy day. Not only did they warn me ahead of time, they were super accommodating once I got there and gave me options as I would not have been able to use the jacuzzi that day. The restaurant was closed but they went out of their way to give me a private tour so I could take photos and videos. Everyone was super sweet, and I will definitely come back! Do yourself a favor and stay here; you will NOT regret it one bit. One of the best experiences of my life to date, even with the wind.

The hotel room was nice. The hotel stall nice. The restaurant was terrible. One of the worst meals I have ever had in 30years traveling to Italy. The waitstaff was the absolute worst I have ever experienced!

The hotel is built for royalty and you are treated as such by the staff. There is nothing that the hotel staff does not take care of.

Price of rooms reflect an unmatched view and location. But the quality of breakfast and dinner were disappointing. If you like a stale croissant with the most amazing view for 50 euros- this is the hotel. Importantly, the worst part of the hotel was the staff. No one went beyond greeting to do anything. The parking is an absolute nightmare to figure out and the hotel never emailed or made us aware of the circumstances. So all around, not the best value for the incredibly expensive price- other than the view. Our daughter wanted to come join us for one night, and not only was the hotel completely reluctant to provide a cot, they would not even allow her to come with us in the shuttle to the beach. All five of our family members took a van, while our daughter had to take a TukTuk motorcycle to the beach, where she was also prohibited from entering due to “full capacity”, but there were at least 50% open chairs and umbrellas. The hotel staff was so unwilling to help us find a solution to our daughter having no where to sleep for the night to the point where we felt genuinely uncomfortable with her even entering the hotel with us. We offered to pay extra money for her to enter the beach, or shuttle, or even another cot, but they were unmovable. It was not so much that the policy was so severe, but that the service was so unwilling to assist us in alternative solutions. Our stay was fine until this stain of an experience.

The place is beautiful. The staff is the best. The property itself is very well located but other than the views which are amazing, the hotel doesn't have any amenities that justify how much they charge a night.
The other thing that didn't make sense to me is that there is no pool or beach access. If you want, you can pay $50 per person and they will take you to their other hotel 3km away. Do they really need to charge for that, just included in the price per night, that would have made more sense to me.
Lastly eating in the restaurant, which is expensive as well, it was a magical experience.
In summary, I will go back to the restaurant but not the hotel

For anyone reading this, just know that if you want to book here, you are paying a LOT of money for the setting NOT the food, drink or service. The food was good but not €200 for three courses(!!!) good. Both the starter and main came out lukewarm and bland. The dessert took 1h to come after the main course even with me asking numerous times for it. The drinks were ridiculous with a €6-8 beer charged at €45 and a bottle of water for €10. The service however was the worst element of the whole experience. No greeting as you arrived or left, staff wearing face masks on their chins, they were ultimately slow and inattentive. The whole meal took us three hours with lots of waiting and the disappointment in the service ruined the overall experience. The views were great but they could only compensate so much for purely bad service and in the end, it really wasn’t worth it.
I also stayed at the hotel. The room was clean and spacious but overpriced and there were many other hotels nearby that were much better value, with more character and I’d have gotten much more for my money. Again, the staff were poor. Mediocre reception to our arrival, no hotel tour of where to find the amenities - we were bluntly told there is no bar when we asked but no friendly recommendation of something in the vicinity.
If I could redo the whole thing, I wouldn’t stay at the hotel because really it’s a restaurant with a hotel - not a hotel with a restaurant (if that makes sense).

An amazing but unfortunately brief stay at a stunning hotel. The proximity to the cave restaurant below and its location in the old town centre was an added benefit.

We stayed here at the end of a two week trip with friends to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The two hays we spent here (just the two of us), were the best part of our second honeymoon. the rooms are immaculate, very simple and the suites I had seen were gorgeous. The staff were professional and courteous, fast and happy to assist. Our room was on a cliff overlooking the Adriatic. You know you have a good room, when everyone is coming up in boats taking pictures of your room. Next time we are coming straight here staying the whole two weeks!

The Hotel is ok, its mostly the view from the room that makes it worth staying there. The Restaurant is a treat and a must if you stay there.

Hotel - beautiful area, great view. However, rooms were tiny, double-bed was actually two beds pushed together, and there were no power outlets in the room save for one in a closet. Front desk folks were nice though, and parking was very easy. And again, spectacular location and reasonable price. Breakfast/wifi were both very good as well ----- As far as the restaurant, again, spectacular view. However, food was obscenely overpriced, and not that great. Service was awful as well, and they are very rude. Recommend getting a drink there (10 coperto per person), and eating elsewhere.

This hotel did not disappoint. Beautiful rooms and old fashioned elegance. Free WiFi and mod cons. Loved the old tiles in the bathroom and the selection of supplies. Our room over looked the sea and it was wonderful to fall asleep with the sound of the water beneath us. The location was ideal! Just around the corner is the old centre and it was an easy walk from the train station. The staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. They helped us with our bags and making dinner reservations as well as pointing out things not to miss! The breakfast room could use a little updating but the food and presentation were good. I loved the sun terrace and it was a relaxing spot for my boyfriend to cat nap while I went to explore the shops. We chose this hotel because we planned on a late night in the Grotto restaurant and was easy to just walk upstairs to our room.
