This stay was amazing. The cabin we had was clean, close to the river, and close the the bastions park entrance. The staff was friendly and courteous. We had one issue with the Hot tub but maintenance came right down.

Great place and great room!

Wonderful!! We were on the second floor and had such a beautiful view from the balcony, and a nice bench on the balcony to sit and eat breakfast and watch all the birds. Kitchen was well equiped so we could cook an early breakfast before a 6 AM park entry.

They had a room that fit six which was perfect for our family as we passed through on a trip.

Very nice, beds were not comfortable. But it was a nice place. Mgr very nice. They have DVD players in room and a good selection of movies.

The property was solid. The photos really don’t do the cabin justice. We visited with our three kids in late July. We opted to not have the cabin cleaned daily, but we had plenty of towels and bedding. Trash container was easily accessible. The view from the screened in porch and the sound of the river was the best part of the cabin. Overall a great property with a wonderful view. P.s. No bears were seen, but had multiple sightings of elk!!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Lots of privacy and so close to Rocky Mountain National Park and the quaint downtown area. Our kids loved staying here and wished we stayed longer. The cabin had all the kitchen necessities to make your own meals. We would definitely stay again!

Property edge is the creek. There are benches and tables down there to hang out and take it in. The view is amazing.

Hi, The property is great. We had the room 19 which was a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite and had a lovely mountain view. The towels were more than plenty. The unit seemed recently renovated. Kitchen had a skillet and enough cups/plates etc. The microwave and sink all looked new. I would be happy to stay here again but I will try to come there during the day and check everything is working.
Improvements - Wifi does not work. We tried all three possible options and none worked, so we used our mobile data as hotspot.
The bathroom sink had the issue - the water was dripping slowly. That caused problems for us as we checked in late evening and needed to leave at 7 AM to go the park. And the office/ maintenance is not there before 10 AM. We had to come back to the hotel in the mid day to get the bathroom sink issue fixed, and it was a hassle.
The housekeeping did come in 40 minutes of calling, and we had to stay in the room from 3 to 5 PM to get that taken care of. When you are on vacation, time is precious. It delayed us in getting ready in the morning also, as you can't brush or wash face in the sink without wasting 10 minutes.
The last thing to improve is - have someone to receive the calls. It goes to an answering machine. So if you are in the park, where the reception is not there all the time, you do not get to talk to a "person" easily. Once the office gets the message, they do respond but I think they need to do better in picking up the phone.

Cute little cabin!

We had a great stay in the Chick-A-Dee cabin in late-April and couldn't be happier! The cabin was cozy but larger than expected. It is small but the layout is smart (designated area for firewood, bathroom between the living room bed and the bedroom, bed in living room is off to the side). The cabin was very clean and had all the basics, plus lots of towels! The best part? The hot tub! On the patio and overlooking the river, it was a great way to enjoy the snow falling while having a soak. The hot tub also felt surprisingly private, given how close other cabins are. Again, smart layout. The location is great, too. Close to the park entrance, several great restaurants, and a little grocery store.

Our stay was great, the cabins are rustic and nostalgic feeling, little gas stove/oven and the tiny fridge freezer combo worked great, the fire place and hot tub are a bonus, theres alot of little random rough spots around the cabin but it is what it is we had no problem with it, we stayed in the sea galley river cabin, only real negatives from the stay was we had to wipe the ceiling fans off from a little dust , the shower is super slippery in this cabin dont know about the others but just be careful getting in, and few light bulbs missing. Bring your own fire wood if you want a fire, they have ice cube trays to use,and the cabin stays cozy.

Dated, musty, and dusty! We had no heat for our first night - COLD!
