A lovely Tuscan oasis - wonderful setting - we hope to come back soon!

Beautiful little property with friendly service and a great little restaurant. The view from our dining terrace was amazing and a great way to end our evenings. The property is located about 15 minutes from any nearby towns and is located on a gravel road, but that’s what makes it so special and relaxing!

An unimaginably beautiful property with caring and lovely staff - felt like we were all friends and neighbours. Breakfast and dinner were beautiful - the chef is extremely talented. Out room was beautifully cleaned and comfortable. In-and-out parking was simple and convenient. The pool was beautiful and had an incredible view. The wine was excellent!

Beautiful scenery from the resort on a hilltop. Staff very friendly and service excellent. Breakfast was good, dinner also good but limited choice.
Had to drive 20 minutes on a dusty dirt road along edges of cliffs at times to reach hotel. If you like to be in a remote and secluded environment then this is for you.

Excellent hotel in a remote and beautiful location. Great food, wine and scenery. Very quiet

Amazing place, very nice views, hosts are supper friendly and nice. Spacious Rooms. Location is top. The only issue with the place, especially if you go in summer time is the AC, some rooms hace it good and others not. You should doble check with the staff which room has a good one if you like to sleep at 22/23 degrees like us. My recommendation to the manager is to change it because summer time gets too hot. Apart from that everything was perfect, restaurant and wine were amazing as well.

The receptionist Diana was very nice and hospitable, however, the level of the room was lower than the one shown in the pictures. I would expect them to post pictures of the lower standard room in the category rather than the highest standard in the category. Otherwise customers will be disappointed. The aircon didn't properly chill the room. The restaurant was actually very bad. The meat tasted as if it was frozen. Breakfast was also not up to par compared with other Tuscan places.

Our stay at Livernano is one most amazing experience. The place is incredibly serene because of its location being high on top of a hill. It is surrounded by scenic and natural beauty and freshness of cool air. The property itself is tastefully and elegantly designed and decorated giving a historical ambience but regal. The staff, Deanna and Bart were very hospitable. They made us feel very welcome and made sure we were comfortable. The best of all, least to our knowledge, it was Gudrun herself attended to us. She is one great pleasant and humble lady. We are grateful and we wish we could stay longer. The wine-tasting at Casalvento was interesting too. We wish we could bring home bottles of superb wines. We invite everyone who visits Tuscany to see Livernano.

Room was beautiful. So peaceful and quiet there. Do not miss dinner there - hand prepared farm to table. Did not visit the winery but we heard it was one of the best in the region.

Beautiful view. U need a car to get there, there is a 15 mins drive in a dirt road, but its worth it. The breakfast is not very rich. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good, and not expensive. Very friendly staff.

Graciously welcomed by Bartolo aka "James Bond" in the late evening. Resort is beyond beautiful, impeccably clean and remarkably decorated and landscaped. We loved the remote location in the hills of Tuscany. It was worth the long ride on the unpaved road using Google Maps. The food was delicious and plentiful. Every person at the resort went out of their way to make us feel like family and make our stay spectacular. Daniella kindly upgraded us to a suite and we didn't want to leave ever, even to take a day trip. But we visited small nearby villages/towns for shopping and lunch. The staff at Livernano were warm and funny. We were given an impromptu tour of their winery by Juliet who knew everything there is to know about wines and tastings. I woke in the morning and could see the magnificent Tuscan hillside while lying in bed. I thought I was in heaven! It was the unrivaled favorite of 7 hotels/resorts on our European vacation from Paris to Rome. We didn't even want to head to Rome after staying here. Plan to stay long enough to relax your mind and soul. Treat your eyes to indescribable beauty and your taste buds to marvelous breakfasts and dinners. And say to "Bongiorno" to Daniella and Bartolo for us....until we return.

Pleasant stay. The location was challenging to find initially as it rather remote and requires an approximately 5 km. drive along very dusty gravel roads - that is after you locate the beginning of said gravel roads. After you arrive, however, the staff are friendly and helpful with an onsite raustaurant serving tasty food, within an understandably limited menu. Since it is unlikely one is going to make the rather arduous drive into town - and back, the food is great.Probably my real critical comment regarding the property is that the room amenities are a bit tired and need of upgrading - the bracket that holds the shower was broken, and I believe had been for some time, so you were required to use it as a handheld shower - ok, but not desirable. The in room safe was small and did not work. There was no heat, as apparently, there is an Italian law that requires all heating to be turned off at the beginning of April and not turned on agin until September - amazing ! So too bad if the weather is cool and you want to take the chill off the room.Thats about it for comments, Id rate it about 3.5 stars .
