Batalha and Alcobaca were world-class sites. Only negative was limited bus transportation. Hotel superbly maintained, but it is a hike up a hill

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Maria was a wonderful help. Try and get a room with a view of the Monastery. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was refreshing on a hot day!

This was smaller hotel but it was very clean. Room and bathroom were modern/updated. The pool was on the small side, but it was clean, refreshing and well maintained. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. There was a nice variety of products for sale that were made in Portugal in the lobby. Also snacks and wine were available. Hot breakfast buffet was available daily and it had a variety of tasty food items. I accidentally left my electric adapters at a previous hotel. They were kind enough to loan me 2 for my stay. Parking is a bit challenging; you might have to drive around a bit to find a space. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall very nice stay in Casa de Outeiro and Batalha is a very good central spot to visit the région. The room could have been a little bigger and coffee at breakfast needs improvement.

Perfect location yet very quiet area. Very clean, very nice breakfast spread. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to guest’s needs. The only minor set back was the bed, not very comfortable. I definitely recommend this property.

We got a free room upgrade while staying there. Room is clean and big with comfortable bed. Couple minutes walk to the Monastery. Staff are super helpful, help us find bus stop and restaurant. Breakfast are pretty tasty. We didn't drive, so can't comment on parking. Would total stay here again.

This hotel was suggested by a friend who had travelled through Batahla. We loved this hotel! Absolutely spotless and very nicely decorated. The receptionist was very pleasant as well. A bit hard to find but once you do there was plenty of parking. A 5 min walk to the Monastery and into the main center. This has been our favorite hotel since arriving in Portugal. Also only 1/2 hr from Nazere/Sitia which was a wonderful day trip. You won't be disappointed staying here. We also were told we were getting a double bed but in fact it was a queen. Great view of the Monastery from our room 405. Also they have a lovely pool.

Great hotel in Batalha with friendly staff and good service. We had the view of the Monastery from our room which we enjoyed both during the day and evening as the Monastery is lit. Short walk to the restaurants etc. We got a parking spot right by the entrance (only 3 spots there), but more parking elsewhere. The WiFi worked consistently, but could have been faster.

We went on a family trip to this area to go to Fatima mainly but staying in Batalha was a lovely extra surprise. It is a lovely town. The Monastery is beautiful and Fatima was very close. This Hotel was wonderful. I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again. We had adjoining rooms as we have 3 children. It was spotless, staff were lovely and the breakfast was great and the homemade cakes were an added bonus! They catered for my husbands gluten free diet. Whilst the hotel does not do lunch or dinner, there are many good restuarants in Batalha within 5 minutes walk. We were leaving at 5.30am to catch an early flight and when staff found out they made us a takeaway breakfast which could have fed us all for a week! It was a much appreciated gesture. It should really be 5 stars. The pool would be great in warmer times...

Batalha has a gem of a monasetry built in the Portuguese manuelan style. The hotel room had a view of the monastery. People are kind and the room , although a bit on the small size, was adequate and well organized.
Lts of paintings on the walls, good parking. They even have a small gym.

We had an amazing stay. We had two rooms booked, one with two adults and one with two adults and an infant. The hotel was very accommodating and able to get us into a section that had two rooms side by side. The decor was very nice and the rooms were kept very clean. The location was great with a beautiful view of the Monastery. We had one nice day in May where we could sit by the pool and enjoy the sun in their lounge chairs. The breakfast was good also. Would definitely return or recommend it to others.

A quiet, inexpensive hotel with great parking and right by the wonderful church which is the reason to go to Batalha. Unfortunately, there aren't many other reasons but if I were to go again I'd try to build a stay in this relaxing hotel into my itinerary. If the weather is bad there are games and a pool table. Breakfast is superb and the coffee excellent and unlimited.

Great value. They are renewing the facility and will be even better soon. Their home made jam and jelly are wonderful at the breakfast. Also their recommendation about dinner turned out to be one of the most memorable dinner in Portugal.
