Room 216, bed closest to bathroom has bed bugs! We asked for a different room. They allowed us to change rooms. Staff was friendly. It is what it is. However, this is a very well worn hotel and by no means anything other than a cheap room for the night (and not cheap enough).

The room reeked of cigarettes. There were cigarette burns on all the blankets and furniture. The remote didn’t work so you only could watch one channel. The towels had hair matted in them. The floors didn’t looked mopped in the bathroom. You could tell they take no effort in cleaning if the room doesn’t look visibly dirty. The AC unit sounded like it was on its last life and had a weird smell to it. The deadbolt on the door was broke off. Over all the room was disgusting to say the least. The room was not worth $130 a night. I’d expect this from a motel that cost $30 a night.

Room had a cigarette smell. Bathroom was nasty. Tv and streaming service was trash. Bed uncomfortable. Pictures on website very misleading

Could use a little more cleaning on the floors and furniture

Stayed for LSU vs Alabama game. Great distance from the stadium, even tho getting back after the game took over an hour. But very cute small town feel. Felt safe for three women. Nothing fancy, only stayed to sleep!

We rented two rooms. One room the toilet was broken and did not flush. The other room had a STRONG mildew oder, and there were red stains on the bed sheets. Not worth the price, find something better.

This place sucks. It’s a run down Motel 6 with a new badge. The room was gross. The mattress was not comfortable at all. The place smells. To top it off it’s not close to LSU. We left a night early and went to a new hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT’S GROSS!

I hope i don't have a charge on my account for this hotel stay as i canceled it before arrival - within time frame so I'm a bit confused as to why I'm getting this message

Cancelled my reservation with no for warning so they could rent my room out for more money because of poor planning on their part..

I was not able to stay. I reserved a non smoking room. They did not have it. All they had was a smoking room. My son is allergic. I never checked in. I am awaiting my refund that the hotel assured me I would receive.

Booked a non-smoking room, arrive to find out they don’t have any available. Room smelled like a 50 year old casino. Was told the rooms are being remodeled (where???) so there were no room keys. Had to get the staff to let us in each time. Inside door lock was broken, no smoke detector in room, fire extinguisher outside was past inspection date, dead bugs in room, food crumbs in chairs, furniture and carpeting saw their prime decades ago, definitely would not want to put a black light to the interior and all the weird stains.

Everything about this place is wrong, unsafe, dirty and falsely advertised.

When we first arrived we noticed the property looks nothing like the pictures posted online. Place is really run down. We were first told some of the doors doesn’t lock and would have to contact the office every time we entered and left the property. We also booked non smoking rooms but was told me had to stay in the smoking rooms. After being stern with the front desk they miraculously had rooms with working doors that was also non smoking. When we arrived in the room it had a really strong cigarette smell, smoke detectors were plugged out, shower head dirty and roaches in the room. The cleaning lady was extremely nice and helpful only upside to this motel that they advertised as a hotel. We had a late flight back home and asked if we can do a later check out time and was told that wasn’t possible. I do not recommend this motel to anyone. Especially if you have kids.

AC didn’t work, key didn’t work entire stay, had to get someone to open our door each time we needed in. No phone, no lamps, tv didn’t work! Checked out a day early just to get out of there! Will never stay at this location again!

Clean room, friendly staff. Super loud area. Had river hillbillies racing around in super loud trucks constantly between 3-6 am one day was rough. Otherwise convenient location to access downtown Baton Rouge and great value

The room we had, the key does not work, and if we wanted to get in we have to get front desk to open the room door.
People was still outside talking after midnight.

The stay was fine, but the cafeteria has been closed for 3 years.

Our stay was pleasant and convenient location to what we wanted. Yes, some days, crossing the Mississippi River bridge was longer, but not too bad. The room was missing an ironing board, but it was not needed by us. The hair dryer didn't work, thankfully we brought our own. We stayed in room 111.

Liked location - access to shopping and restaurants.
Didn't like that I had to get my room re-keyed every night. Stayed on the second floor - no elevator.
No directions to use TV - turn on, change the input to HDMI 1, then you had to point the remote to the white box that was located behind the dresser. Had to get up from bed to change channel.

Not the rooms I booked, blood stains on the sheets, no cover on the bed, stains on the pillow cases, used toilet paper on th back of the toilet, wires hanging out of the smoke detector placement, trash on the floor when entering, rude front desk guy. The worst hotel and nastiest place I ever stayed at.

One of the most disgusting hotels I have ever set foot in. We stayed the first night of a two night reservation because we didn’t arrive until midnight l, woke up the next morning and left to find another hotel. I do not know why the health dept in LA would allow this hotel to stay open. Truly gross. I would hope the hotel or hotel.com would refund at least the one night I had to leave but I’m sure that won’t happen

This hotel is inexpensive and you get what you pay for. I felt so uncomfortable, I strongly considered looking for another hotel. The bathroom was dirty, there were socks left in the room from a prior guest, there were cords and wires hanging out of the walls and ceiling, there were no toiletries provided. I even had to ask for toilet paper. I definitely will not stay here again. Only bonus is it was relatively close to the LSU campus. The person working the counter was pleasant, but not knowledgeable about things in the hotel.

This was a really bad stay.
The property is in an unsafe very sketchy part of town across the river. It’s difficult to access and few Ubers will come.
The beds didn’t have blankets, they were out of shampoo, and the deadbolt didn’t work.
There were piles of garbage all over the property and a generally decrepit feel.
It was bad enough I just ate the cost of a second night, left, and went to a Marriott.

As soon as we walk in we always inspect the beds. Both queen beds had hair on them. The carpets were not vacuumed and had dirt and pieces of trash on the floor. In the bathroom when my wife went to use the bathroom the handle on the bathroom door completely came off. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling by wires. This morning when we woke up there was a roach on the wall. Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever been to.

No key cards for the rooms, TV only played one channel and the remote didn't work. The bed had a crusty stain from someone's bodily fluids and food crumbs. There was no shampoo only two bottles of lotion. When I told the staff about the condition of the room they seemed to care less about it and told me the cleaning crew would not be there until tomorrow and I couldn't get another room. This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Room had a horrible smell to it, it was dingy, the tub had not been cleaned well, there were still pubic hairs from a previous guest. So no shower for me. If this had been a $25 room, it would have been okay, but not the price they charge. Completely unacceptable.

The lock to our door was broken so we had to get staff to open our door every time we came back. They did not apologize, offer a discount or a different room for this. The towels were stained and threadbare. The bedding was the thinnest I have ever seen, the floor was sticky and the walls/back of the doors were smudged with black marks.

The staff was rude and “couldn’t check us out” . Then we called the main hotel line and told them they couldn’t check us out. Took 3 calls then finally checked as out. The front desk lady that night was extremely rude and unprofessional.

I was told at check in that the only room available did not have a room key. I was told that the repairman was coming out first thing in the morning. He/she never showed up.
The property is very dated and smells like a bingo hall. No offense the bingo players but we don’t smoke and it’s bad in there

Was disappointing from the get go… definitely not worth the $96/night I paid. Hotel rooms were very outdated, and dirty. Our keys wouldn’t work, the scanner was broken so we had to go to the manager office to be let into our room. The area was sketchy. The mattresses were terrible, ours sank in the middle, sheets had stains on them, the ice machine was “broken”. The floor was so dirty just walking from the bed to the bathroom and back our feet were black. Someone double parked in the handicap section and the managers responded with “I do t know who’s vehicle it is and it’s 11PM… there’s parking in the back”. NEVER AGAIN.

Hotel needed updating. Looked like a hotel from a horror movie. Room was overall dirty. Stains on everything....walls, furniture, bedspread, sheets, bathtub. Mini fridge and microwave was dirty. Dead cockroach on floor. Pool was covered by a tarp. Basically walked in and walked right back out and booked at a safer and cleaner hotel.
