The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean, but when you get in to take a hot shower and the water temperature is only Luke warm it’s very disappointing. The water for the sink was hotter than the shower water.

The shower curtain was torn and moldy, as well as mold in the bathroom around the shower and sink. The room smelled very musty. Black lines were on the floor from improper cleaning. When we first arrived it smelled like they poured a whole bottle of fabuloso out. When we turned on the a/c unit it immediately smelled like it was burning. When contacting the front desk, they told us someone would come by to look at it but never did. They are doing "renovations" but nothing was being done while we were there. The breakfast bar had the same thing both mornings we were there. The fruit had already gone bad, and the warm breakfast options were ice cold. Will not be staying here again

The first room we stayed in only had one bed - and I slept on the sleeper sofa - which had chips under the cushions and a mattress cover that looked like it had never been washed.

It was very frustrating 1.- I requested for a room with 2 beds and they gave it to me with 1 bed. 2.- I selected breakfast included and there was only water with juice, milk with terrible taste and some micro muffins. It didn’t meet anything regarding to the website at Hotel.

Will not stay again. No safe dog friendly area. There were pickers all in the grass which we didn’t realize until it was too late. No room service at all. Stayed 6 days. Was told every three days but on day four I had to go ask for towels and toilet paper because no one came.

The facility is very clean and comfortable. Staff was very courteous. The property is well maintained and very close to shopping, dining, etc. Would have given 5 stars except for the breakfast. Only option for hot breakfast was waffles. Cold cereal was available (very limited choices) with no milk. Instant hot cereal also available with no hot water. Disappointing.

Multi-night reservation. They don’t tell you at check-in that you must request to have your room serviced. It would also be helpful if Hotels.com could tell you this about the location. The women at the front desk let me ask about when my room would be done with service AND sit and wait for a couple of hours. Only when I asked again did they say… well, did you request service? You have to ask the night before.

i booked the room thru Expedia but it does not show anywhere on Expedia that there will be a $200 deposit until I got there to check -in . so i was not prepared for the $200 deposit. I did not stay there. I ended up leaving and lost $76.60.

Microtell Inn & Suites in San Angelo is always clean and comfortable. They have a great breakfast bar with waffles, cereal, fruit, and various pastries as well as coffee and juices. The beds are comfortable and there are laundry facilities on every floor, which is a bonus you don't get in other hotels. It is easy access to food, entertainment, and the highway. This is my second visit to this hotel, and it'll be my first choice when visiting family in the area.

When I went to check in the lady at the front counter was rude, she gives me my key to my room on the 3rd floor open the door and maintenance was in the room, I go down and she had no idea they were in the room. She gives me other room. I go back up to the 3rd floor the key didn't work, so I had to come back down she gives me a new set of keys. Those worked the AC was blowing warm air the phone to the room didn't work. I will never stay there again. Service was horrible.

Stayed here for a night to be nearby family who’s in the hospital. It was ok for the price. Staff was nice at check-in and hotel smelled clean. Room served its purpose for a place to sleep and shower. However, the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night and it felt like it was 85 degrees in the room. Lots of rust noted, so this place could use an upgrade. Also, the shower was super slow to drain. Despite the condition of this place, we felt safe here and would stay again due to the price, because other hotels in the area go for twice or 3X as much a night.

The property is overall nice and modern but was built cheap. We stay in two separate rooms and both had rusted towel racks, broken granite tops, broken mirrors, rusted hair dryer (one did not even have it). There were hairs in the bathrooms and towels even had holes. There are less priced hotels in the area in much better conditions. They were painting the outside of the building while we were there, hopefully they continue in the inside.

Arrived at 7pm and house keeping was still cleaning rooms. surprised they were still working on the rooms as they do nothing in the rooms of guest that stay more than 1 night. The Room was showing signs of wear with lots of rust in the bathroom around the door and on the towel rack. Very poor restocking of the breakfast area in the morning and poor design with very little place to eat. Glad we were not there on a busy weekend as there would be no place to sit while eating. Poor design for what looks like a fair new property. Staff was helpful.

Just a place to sleep, although the bed was lumpy. Put us in a handicapped room so the bathroom wasn't conducive to able body people. Relatively quite with a bit of road noise.
