We loved our stay at Bleu de Toi. We stayed for 11 nights and were so satisfied with everything. Excellent staff with always a smile on their faces, very service minded, helpful and kind. Lovely breakfast area, we also hanged out there a lot in the evening and played cards etc. The kitchen worked well to make simple meals in. The pool area is great. Clean rooms and very fresh over all. Both AC and fan in the room. Great location of the hotel, walking distance to incredible beaches. Lovely hotel and would definitely recommend it! Felt very safe as well.

Lovely guesthouse with generous rooms and friendly staff. Parking availability is good. John made us feel very welcome and helped us around. Very easy-going, self-service at breakfast with everything you need and the super friendly staff provides eggs on request. There is an honesty fridge on the veranda where you can have a cold beer and pay when checking out.
Good restaurants nearby. For beach I would recommend Mont Choisy, it‘s much nicer than the one closeby.
Go to the bloom restaurant nearby, great coffee and good food!
Would definitely stay again :)

It was a perfect stay from start to finish, regrettably just too short. A very welcoming, tranquil, relaxing, homely guesthouse immersed in nature and a short walking distance to the beach. Having breakfast outside seeing and listening to the beautiful birds was amazing. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Dimitri who went above and beyond with his help and genuine kindness. Will definitely return to this charming, Bleu de Toi, corner of paradise.

Beautiful place, house vibe rather than hotel. Quiet and eco friendly. Welcoming and friendly staff, convenient location. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this place.

This was our second visit to this lovely B&B guest house, and it was even better than we remembered it from 5 years ago.
The staff are all really very good, kind, helpful and friendly (even by the high Mauritian standards!), without being overbearing.
The house is well situated 5-10 minutes walk from Pereybere and 20 minutes walk from Grand Baie (with buses running between both towns - and the hotel has 2 mountain bikes for guest use).
It's open dining/seating area and the small well-stocked garden and pool are beautiful - an oasis of peace despite being not far from the main road.
Our room on the ground floor of the main building was spacious, clean and reasonably well lit, and the cleaning service was very good and done timely during breakfast.
Breakfast is one of the highlights: fresh fruit, pastries, toast, jams and eggs freshly fried, scrambled or as omelette.
This will now be a regular stop on our periodic visits to Mauritius.

Lovely staff and accommodations. Quiet, safe and close to beach and transportation options. Easy walk to many good places to eat.

My husband and I stayed here with our friends in April. We visited from Australia and hired a car from the airport when we landed. We drove up to Grand Baie and found the hotel fairly easily. I highly recommend hiring a car or scooter as it is a short drive into the closest main town - Grand Baie. Bleu De Toi is a quaint hotel with a friendly feel. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a great sized pool. A small town (Pereybere) is a short walk away with a nice beach (swimming is good here).
The staff were very helpful and offered suggestions of where to eat and what to do throughout our stay. The breakfast that is included is fantastic! We highly recommend this hotel and it is great value.

My wife & I stayed 18 nights in Mauritius with 5 of them at Bleu de Toi. We had saved the best til last! The small 8 room Boutique accommodation lived up to the great reviews which prompted our visit. Robin (from South Africa) has a wealth of hospitality experience which shows in the care and attention he gives to his guests and the resources he provides. Ably assisted by Karine (reception), Bleu de Toi is an oasis retreat in beautiful surroundings. WiFi is good with no problem in public areas & many rooms. On tap, on the house, tea & coffee is available anytime. The continental breakfast was just perfect too. Robin is a CEMAS scuba diver so ask him for a local centre for dives & potential discounts. Robin has future plans for further accommodation upgrades at the end of 2016 so don't be disappointed by a short period of closure thereafter. Would come back again & recommend to anyone. Thanks.

We had a lovely lovely holiday in Mauritius. BleudeToi was a delightful place of rest with every member of the management and staff only to pleased and willing to go the extra mile and assist and advise, and with a smile.
Hotel facilities and condition and Room comfort are both a 4 because there needs to be a little improvement in the room furniture, air con and the pool and pool area.
Mauritius itself is indeed a paradise, with picture postcard scenery wherever you look. There is plenty to see and do.

This is a really nice little guest house. The owner personally greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. The pool and surrounding grounds are well-maintained and tastefully decorated. The room was comfortable and very clean; no complaints whatsoever. The guest house is a 10 minute walk to Pereybere and a 25 minute walk to Grand Bay; unfortunately there's not much in terms of restaurants or stores close to the Bleu de Toi, but plenty of options in Pereybere. You can also take the bus to town easily. This is easily one of the nicest places we stayed in Mauritius.

My wife and i really enjoyed our stay at bleu de toi. The staff were so nice and always helpful, and we had a big familly room with a great graden view balcony. Robin(the owner) brings the spirit and charecter to this place, we can see his passion and profession from every details. And he is also an excellent chef, we had our best dinner with him since we arrived mauritius. unforgettable 6 nights that will stay in our memory. strongly recommend!!!

Robin and his team have developed this B&B in a great way. The B&B has a very stylish decoration, the staff is very personal and they want to do the best for your stay. They help you with your luggage, great service during breakfast (home made yoghurt and other products), good tips for excursions/trips

The hotel claims to be 'luxurious' which it certainly is not. However the rooms are adequate, but need some maintenance. Our room had a good size balcony, which made the size OK. The continental breakfasts were excellent. Staff were very helpful. Location is good, set 100m away from the main road and walking distance to shops, supermarket and restaurants in Pereybere. The hotel is recommended, but do not expect luxury.

We had a very warm and friendly welcome from all staff from receptionists to cleaners (particularly capable and efficient) as well as staff doing the breakfast which was substantial. Careful thought has gone into making the hotel a relaxing and calming place with a number of activities.
It is highly recommended for those who need peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist industry, but also very easy to reach with convenient parking, security and hospitality.
The ordered evening meal however was quite expensive and given that there are a number of places to eat, the food can be prepared in a more economical way to attract more residents to remain on the premises.

We were most impressed with Bleu De Toi, and wished we had had a few days longer at this guesthouse. We were made welcome from the time we arrived, with Robin, the manager, and his assistant, Karen, being there to greet us and show us to our room. It was clear Robin has extensive experience of the hospitality industry having worked in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Sao Tome.
The guesthouse is about 80 metres from the coastal road which can be busy at times although the traffic didn't trouble us at all. The nearest beach is at Pereybere which is a 5 minute walk away although Robin directed us to another, more private, beach in the opposite direction towards Grand Baie, and which we preferred.
Our room was on the first floor: it was spacious with a generous balcony facing the front of the building and overlooking the hotel gardens and grounds which were kept in a tidy state. The room was en suite. There was an adequate swimming pool with sun loungers and chairs; there was also a pitch for boule. The downstairs terrace was used for meals and provided shade from the sun.
The reservation was for bed and breakfast. However, Robin is a proficient cook and prepared a delicious three-course dinner with wine during our stay. He does this on an ad hoc basis each week for those guests who want a change from eating at local restaurants. We would recommend guests take advantage of this service.

Having stayed in a number of top hotels of late we had to remind ourselves on arrival to our room that we got quite a cheap deal on this place. The room was a decent size however immediately we noticed numerous stains on the duvet covers. I would definalty recomend that the owners chuck these out and replace with new and fresher looking ones. This was the same in our friends room. Im 6ft and my feet were out of the bed, but appart from that the room was very adequate and suited our purposes as we spent most of our time out of the room and exploring Mauritius.
It would be great if all the rooms were non smoking as one night we did come back to an awful smell of smoke from the room below us which was very off putting but is more something were not used to in western hotels.
The staff were very plesant and we were always greeted with a smile. Breakfast was good, fresh juice, coffee, fruit, croissants etc... However 10 days straight of the same breakfast was a bit much...
The grounds and upkeep of the hotel were good, we always felt safe and the staff offered suggestions as to where to go and what to see. The hotel is a short 10 min walk from PereyBere beach and from the pereybere restaurants and a 15 min walk from the nearest supermarket. Grand Baie is abuot a 10 min taxi or bus, should cost you around 150 rupees in the taxi and 18r in the bus...
Considering the price we felt it was a good stay, safe place, nice staff, good breakfast and not bad rooms.

The Host and the Public areas were very nice but room 00 (zero zero) was awful - no windows. I felt like I was in a cave. A double glass door facing the garden would have made a huge difference. Please fix this you are doing your place a dis-service.
Otherwise nice. I think the top rooms may be nice.
