It’s a nice hotel with a feeling of being transported back in time. We had breakfast on one of the days, and it was below par. With the money you spend at breakfast you can feast somewhere outside the property. And the big street with restaurants is only a short walk.

I arrived one day early for a tour with OAT that reserved rooms at this hotel to start their tour. Convenient location near center of city.

The room was amazingly spacious and clean with stylish furnitures.
Sadly the amenities and accessories in the room were ver poor. No tea or coffee, no cups or glasses in the room…

Very nice hotel, the hotel room was like a one bedroom apartment. Very roomy and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I would therefore stay there when I return to Tunis.

Very nice stay, the exchange rate in the hotel is more or less the same as bank outside, the bar is also nice. But the city tax isnt covered by hotels.com, need to pay another few dinars to the reception. Staff can speak in English.

It was a reasonable hotel for the cost and the good location. The hotel is old but well maintained and well kept. There is a little noise from the train/metro when is passing by. breakfast is good but the looks of the staff gives a little discomfort while eating!

Aptly named hotel. Would recommend. Lovely room, good breakfast, filling evening meal, lively bar and terrace; excellent location.

very clean, great staff, fast internet although coverage isn’t the best, fast check-in and check-out.

The hotel is lovely. Very old world / European feel. Updated modern, showers with jets coming every which way, which is nice and a bit surprising (in a good way) for the style of the hotel. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast buffet was good. However, for a buffet of its size, it left me wanting some variety with Western style options, such as scrambled eggs. Also, a bit disappointing breakfast isn’t included in your stay. The staff was friendly enough. We were given the WiFi password, which was printed on a card with a stamp. The stamp was hard to read, and when I went downstairs to ask the front desk about it, I got an “It’s so easy, you fool” vibe. But when he couldn’t do it either, he realized it was hard to read and that a letter was misprinted. The hotel is lovely. I think I’d stay again. Maybe I’d consider other options, too. Basically, the fact that I’m not sure says more than the 877 characters I have left to finish this review. It was great, but I think there might be a lot like it in Tunis.

I booked the suite and it was in the size of big 2BDR apartment. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is clean and close to restaurants and shopping places. It is recommended and U will book it next time.

The Hotels.com site for this hotel clearly states that airport shuttle is included in the price. The hotel acknowledged that fact, but still wouldn't honor it, stating they changed their policy. Fine, but that issue is between Hotels.com and the hotel, not mine. Nonetheless, the hotel wouldn't honor it. I had to pay for my own airport transportation.

We spend a good time in Tunis, the Magestic hotel is very well located, it has beautiful art deco features and our bedroom was big. The hotel was not noisy either. Breakfast was good value for money.

Old hotel but clean and bathroom was very nicely done. Reception and front door staff very polite and helpful. For some reason the man who seemed to be in charge of the breakfast room was rude and unfriendly. If you don’t like your job find another one I say. This place was great for one night but I would stay here again for maybe 3 nights.

Beautiful building, but rooms are dated and it lacks things like coffee/tea pots, etc. However, it's completely fine for 1 or 2 nights and the staff are great.
