Check in was not smooth at all. I was expected to reach out to the host. No welcome email from them. I had to meet the host in person to get my key for the unit. Most properties these days have a lock box or passcode system. Would not be such a big deal however I had to work around the hosts schedule. I wanted to meet at 18:00. They told me I would need to meet between 16:00 and 17:00 so I had to interrupt the activity I was doing. There was also no communication that the only way to pay was cash so I then had to walk with the host to the bank to get the right amount of cash. Unit is nice and good location but there is too much stuff. I can appreciate a well equipped kitchen but I was almost knocking coffee cups out just trying to get a plate out. Cabinets over full. Towels also smelt of cigarette smoke when wet. I realize many people smoke but for a non smoker this is not an enjoyable experience.

A large apartment only 1 block from city center. Secure entry. Excellent hosts. Very affordable. Will stay here again when we return to Ypres.

We were greeted warmly. Apartment is very clean and so very close to everything in Ypres - less than a 5 minute walk to the city centre. Apartment is very spacious with lots of room to spread out and relax after our busy days! Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Ypres.

Small, very comfortable apartment very close to the centre of Ypres. Many historical sites nearby. Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate very moving.

Excellent stay at Apartments Ypres. Katie was very helpful and the apartment was exceptional. We'd have been mad to stay at a hotel! Ypres was very friendly, full of things to see and do, great restaurants. The Last Post at the Menin Gate each evening is a "must see" and for us, as Scots from the Highlands, it was even more special as the Ypres buglers were joined by a piper and drummer and some soldiers from a local Scottish Highlands Regiment. Their padre said a prayer, which was pretty moving to be honest! All in all a great visit and we would happily return. Thankyou very much Katie.

These apartments are very central, less that a minute's walk from the Grote Markt and Menin Gate. They are well maintained, clean and comfortably furnished with a small kitchen, crockery and utensils, bathroom, towels, etc. My ground floor apartment had a small outdoor seating area. Your host is very friendly and helpful, and had many recommendations for things to see and do in Ypres - a few things I would have missed out on were it not for her advice. Recommended if you're staying in the city for a few days or a longer visit.

Had such an amazing time, we were in great hands. We were greeted by Katie who showed us the features and space. Then gave us the lowdown on the area, places to eat and visit. Would come back here in a heartbeat. Absolutely loved the place. Cannot wait to come back, would highly recommend this place.

Although I was late arriving on midday Sunday due to a technology failure, the owner Katie was understanding and waited for me beyond the agreed check in time. The property was clean, really clean, tidy and well appointed. I paid for secure parking (a 60 second walk away) and Ypres town centre is only 180 seconds away and the large grocery store is about a five minute walk. Everything in the apartment worked and it was nice to be so close to everything. Highly recommend this apartment to anybody and I will be using again on my next trip over.

The apartment was outstanding. It is situated close to all the great amenities available in Ypres. You can walk out the door and find local bakers, cafes and shops just a few steps away. The apartment itself is brilliantly equipped - everything has been thought of, so it made staying there a joy. The owner was kind enough to give us a lift from the station and gave us a really helpful introduction to Ypres and the flat. The latter is tastefully decorated and really comfortable. The wi-fi was excellent!In conclusion, I can honestly say that staying in the apartment was one of the best holiday experiences we have had. I would recommend it to everyone looking to have a really comfortable base to explore Ypres and the surrounding areas.

Appartment was generally very good and very well located. There is no parking (except for further payment), owner does not live on the premises and we had a little misunderstanding on arrival but otherwise it was excellent. We would certainly recommend it to any one wanting short stay accomodation in the cntre of Ypres.

Our holiday experience to Ypres was made or the more special with the wonderful apartment we stayed in. Where to start with my review?? We found the apartment easily after a short 5-10 minute walk from the train station. The location was perfect, just off the Market Square and very close to everything. It was also quiet in the evenings, a welcome change from our previous stop.The comfort, space and facilities in this apartment were tasteful, very spacious, cosy and extremely welcoming!! We had the double room at the top of the stairs with a nice outlook down the street and had every conceivable amenity provided. The apartment included a generous lounge and dining area, kitchen, bedroom and en-suite with plenty of quality linen. The bed was very comfortable! Our hosts met with us to provide an overview of how to operate things in the apartment and also provided several brochures, maps and information about what to see and do in Ypres. The one time I needed to contact them (to enquire where to find the iron and ironing board and yes they were also provided) our host was very responsive. Cant recommend this highly enough !!
