It doesn’t feel like a typical hotel but rather like an office building designed for business use. The staff at the lobby were very formal and businesslike. Additionally, note that the full payment for the stay must be made at check-in. All disposable amenities must be purchased separately, and breakfast is not provided.

It’s amazingly spacious. Automated toilet seat with bidet. Got washer and hanger dryer that’s nice to use. The only complaint is with accommodation for crib for baby. They don’t have a spare change for bedsheets for the crib.
Front desk staff (one of them) was extremely helpful with managing our luggage & explaining how the amenities inside the room work when asked.
4.0 / 10.0
Room felt a little misleading, as it said 2 double beds and 2 sleeper sofas. The two double beds are pushed against each other so it’s really more like one king sized bed. And the sofa beds are not sofa beds at all. The pieces are separate and slide around so really nobody can sleep on it. The room was serviced every day but the soap and shampoos were never replenished which was annoying. Lastly, the kitchen came with very very little plates etc.

Excellent hotel. The 4 sleeper suite is a Great sized room for long stays. The location is near lots of eateries, Lotte department store and train station. Only downside is that all rooms have one bathroom.

The breakfast was very good, and the staff members were very kind.
The room was too cold, and it was hard for us to adjust the temperature because the directions of the remote controller were all in Korean language.

We had a lovely stay. The area was perfect for our first visit to Seoul. 3 mins walk to the train station. Clean and the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. If I travel to Seoul again , I will be staying there for sure .
5 minutes walk to a large supermarket and a great mall.
Lots of great cafes and options to eat too.

Such a great little location that has restaurants that are in walkable distance. Also a large grocery shop Emart nearby.

Would stay here again.

Front desk was great, service was excellent. Curbside bellhop was fantastic, helped calling taxi for non Korean speaking people.
The apt was spacious and modern. Beds were large and ample for family of four! Amazing space. I did my own cleaning because my level of clean is above and beyond in general. But it could use sprucing up maintenance wise, as building is not newer. Location to groceries, indoor gym was fantastic. Very quiet neighborhood, which I loved. However pool was not usable during our stay so disappointed it was not known prior to booking. Would not have deterred us but would have been nice to know. We would, however, come back again. Overall very pleasant experience. One cleaning lady was amazing. Rest were good enough! Nice to have housekeeping w an apt.

I really liked the property. We had the family suite and it was great. The location is excellent, close to the metro and lots of great shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helped us order a taxi to the airport on our last day. The gym was great with many exercise options- I even attended some exercise classes. The only negative is that air conditioning in the gym was not great - it was very hot, which was a terrible inconvenience given that it was summer. Overall great experience. I would stay again.

On the second day of staying at the hotel, a very large cockroach appeared (I took a picture). I wanted to change the room, but they just said they were sorry, so I gave up and stayed. I don't know if it was the room next door or the floor below, but the smell of food came into our room. I had to ventilate the room once a day whenever it smelled like food.

Great location and convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. The flooring and furniture was a bit outdated, we did see some bugs inside as well. But I would definitely stay here again in my next trip to Seoul

The Suite is very relaxing place for a long-term stay. Very comfortable, with plenty of storage. The bed mattress is firm and supportive.

Maybe my expectation was too high as they have the best retirement villagein building B. But the building A where visitors stay was pretty ordinary 🤔
Also, I could not understand why they have so slippery toilet.

Ok overall but pools not open for children and sauna not included which was two big minuses for us

Very close to Kondae food street which is great for late night dining and drinking. Also next door to a mall with various shops. Great location, good gym facilities too. Stayed in a superior suite, massive room with more than enough space for a family of 4. Only issues encountered were the heating levels.

Bathroom was not very clean and I was able to see some spots not wipes on the floor.

I love that it’s in a neighbourhood not too overwhelmed by tourists. Facilities are great, especially the gym. The location is fantastic too - there is an Olive Young and an MRT station side by side, across the street from The Classic 500. Lotte Departmental Store is just NEXT DOOR, and there are so many fantastic food hall options. There is also an 24 hr e-mart at the basement of the The Classic 500.
You can tell The Classic 500 has been around for awhile and there's a lived in feel to it, it is very well maintained. They also have a very well equipped kitchen, fridge (two in fact), and a washing machine you can use.

Although I hope for more friendly greetings when we arrived at the property, the overall experience was better than I expected. Considering the location where it's not in the central Seoul nor gangnam district, access to bus and subway is so close, I hardly noticed any inconvinience roaming around the city. Also, due to its close proximity to a local college, it had a lot of walkable eateries close by somewhat reminded me of myungdong. A famous emart and lotte dept store being next door was an obvious plus as well. The hotel though the room looks like it has seen better days, equiped with a bed that is quite comfy and decorated with useful necessities to feel at home. I really appreciated a daily room service as it kept our stay feeling clean and cozy. Kudos to the service team. We also enjoyed using the spacious gym where equipments seemed well maintained. Therefore I'd give 4 stars to this 4 star hotel that it well deserves.

The staff spoke English and Korean. They helped me with the elevator and door because the keys are a bit of different style than other hotels. I also used business center for computer and printing some documents. They have several amazing amenities for their guests.

One of the best stays and will continue to choose this place in the future when in Seoul! Amazing space and the view was incredible from our floor. The only minor setback was the shower/water pressure. Overall, we loved it!

EXCELLENT! I just came back from Seoul for a 7 nights stay at The Classic 500 and we really fully enjoyed our stay! Firstly, we went to Seoul with a 2 year old toddler and the suite was really toddler friendly. They even provided highchair for me with was really nice! The suite was super well equipped and our room was cleaned up everyday. Our mineral water was also nicely replenished. The hotel itself is super accessible with lotte department store right next to the hotel and starlight. Literally everything you need is next door and we hardly had to venture far to get the things we need. The area is walking distance to Common Ground and Seongsu. There is already a Tasty Street next to the hotel and plenty of food choices. The Subway is also super near which is perfect. We would highly reccomend this place to families with kids.

Friendly staff, arranged transportation for pick up and drop off was easy with staff, suite for 5 was roomy with 1 queen 3 large twins for boys, metro station diagonal to hotel, night market right across from university, food was amazing everywhere, use google translate to type or speak is easy to communicate at mama pop stores, but most places had someone speaking English if needed. Bring your own detergent if using washing machine. You can use camera on google translate to follow directions. It’s a combo washer/dryer. There’s a Coffee Bean and another coffee/drink place called Atwosome on the first floor of hotel. Tons of pastry and coffee shops in walking distance. You can buy Tmoney card at the CŨ market on the street before heading into the metro-use for metro fare and bus fare. Each way for metro cost about 1500 won. You can add more money to card in the metro station. Took us a day to figure out the metro system, but a great way to get around. Great place to stay with huge living room to relax after a long day. Thank you!

As soon as we checked into our room, maintenance rang the bell to change the AC filters, which took some time. We found timing to be a bit odd and inconvenient. Secondly, our sink had visible green mold on the faucet, and the condition of our room was filthy (hair and dust found everywhere). Thirdly, we could very much hear the noise from outside the streets, not just from the guests next door/hallways. While I can’t speak for the entire building, our room was definitely not soundproof. Lastly, the design of the room was pretty inconvenient. There were no plug ins by the table to use our laptops, and the built in side tables were so far away from the bed. Some positives were lots of cafes and restaurants by the hotel, and the checkout process was quick.

I liked the room conditions.
