Its my 2nd time at the hotel. Location is perfect to connect via subway to different London attractions.
Rooms are modern (small) ideal for 1 person. You find everything you need.
Staff super friendly.
4.2
Perfect location and nice modern decor hotel, was spotless and staff were welcoming and really nice. Recommended stay for a couple getaway.

I had a tiny room with barely enough floor space to open my trolley. Although it had a twin bed, I really can’t imagine 2 people staying in that room.
Might still be an option for a tourist traveling alone, but as a business traveler the fact that there was no room to hang out my coat, blazer, dress shirt and trousers was a bit annoying. The room had a very small bathroom as well with a fixed shower head, not very convenient. The breakfast was very rudimentary. No hot dishes like scrambled eggs or sausages at all. There were quite some pastry options, though, for those who fancy that for breakfast.
Can’t fault the staff; everybody was very friendly and helpful during my stay. The location, a few minutes walk from Paddington Station, is great as well.
Overall, though, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Very friendly staff, room was clean and not too small, breakfast was great, really! Room service is only after three nights, but that was ok and worked well for us. You can get fresh towels whenever needed…

There was confusion about Checkin
4.2
Room 101 was loud through water pipes from shower or toilet passing through , right through the night !!
And the sound of the underground rumbling as well
4.2
Nice and clean. Breakfast was fine and the cafe area was also nice.

Smooth check in the went down hill. Exceptionally small room and no way a double. Bed wedged in and 2nd person needs to climb over person 1 to get into bed. Room 317 very noisy with lifts, doors banging and deliveries starting at 6am. Don’t help with the false fire alarm
Going off at midnight . Breakfast was very poor continental . Won’t be back.

Few things that are good to know regarding this hotel. Firstly, rooms are very compact and you need some creativity regarding for example placing the luggage - In the room there is basically only a bed and a bathroom. This is not very big problem if you don't plan to spend too much time in the hotel room. The rooms seem quite modern and very clean.
The location is excellent just next to Edgware road and Paddington underground stations. You can travel around the city very conveniently from here.
The breakfast includes only cold dishes, mostly fresh bakery products. But overall the quality of the breakfast is still OK. The breakfast room can be very crowded during the peak hours.
Definitely the best thing regarding the hotel is the very good and kind service of the hotel staff. We had some problems with the air conditioning of our room and after we let the staff know about the problem we were right away transferred to a new room. Overall the service attitude of the personnel is top class.
Worth noticing was also that the luggage storage was not free of charge (3 Pounds). This is not a big money but many hotels offer this service free of charge.
Overall quite nice hotel with an excellent service of the personnel and good location. Would consider staying again if the price level would not be too high.

Busy and central loc was easy for tour bus. Nice breakfast(pre-paid) stood out. Staff were friendly and helpful but room was too small. No in-room facilities like fridge or even ironing board, likely because of the prime location. No re-heat options (microwave) in the hotel. Overall, it was 6/10.

It was like being in a prison cell. No windows, no room service , no coffee tea making facilities, no separate cupboards for hanging, no cleaning of rooms if booked for three days or less and to top it up the room was a box sized one with bed in middle with approx 1.5m x 2 metres of space on either side of bed. With 4 bags (2 big and 2 small) we had to manoeuvre our way in order not to trample on our things in the limited space. Also due to no room cleaning service my wife had to clean the bathroom floor and basin herself ….
4.2
Perfect stay. Comfortable and clean rooms and communal areas. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, good quality range of continental and various hot drinks. Highly recommend

Great location close to Paddington Station. Short walk to Hyde Park. Clean compact room with everything you need.

Ideal location close to Paddington station. Very helpful friendly staff

Great location. Book a bigger room if you are two. They dont clean the room if you only stay for 3 night or less.
4.2
Small rooms, but clean, well laid out and good facilities in the hotel. Location is super convenient.
4.2
Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and nicely decorated. Very ample size room for the two of us .
Would defiantly stay again.

We loved the Point A Hotel! The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit and pastries and yogurt with a coffee or tea of your choice. The bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet. Loved the a/c! Thank you!

I arrived early and they charged me to leave my bag at the hotel before I checked in! This is the first time this has ever happened. Paid extra for breakfast, not worth it at all. It was £11.50 for very little selection, could go next door to Pret cheaper and better

We had a great stay, close to Paddington and Edgeware road stations and numerous bus stops. Walking distance to Hyde Park. The underground is a little noisy in the room, but able to sleep through. The room is very small, not much room to open a suitcase.
4.2
Great location. Nice front desk staf. Small rooms but it is normal un uk.

Thanks Samuel for the careful arrangements and travel advice. Thanks Kevin for your kindness.

My 11-year-old son and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The criteria for choosing this hotel were its location and style on a small budget. We were not disappointed.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff, and the check-in process was very smooth. Since I had read that the rooms were rather small, I booked an accessible room which I found quite spacious. It faced the street, but our earplugs solved this minor problem. The furniture and design of the room were to my taste—modest but modern, with good air-conditioning.
I noticed that some have commented on the breakfast. Yes, there is no full traditional English breakfast, but there is plenty of fruit and cereal to choose from. The coffee was nice, and the pastries were a good way to finish off breakfast.
I would not hesitate to book this hotel or other Point A hotels again!
A shout out to Andrea and all the other staff:
Thank you all for your warm and helpful assistance.

From reading other reviews I had expected a smaller room. But the room was light and a good size - and I was pleasantly surprised.
Was at 2nd floor, window to the street. Bc it's close to the Hospital, you hear quite a bit of sirenes from ambulances, but I guess that's life in a big city like London.
The A/C was placed above the door facing towards the bed - that was a small downside, because it felt like it blew on you at night even though on low. But, yeah, nothing that ruined the stay, just a small note.
Breakfast was a big variety of many things. I especially liked that there were so much different fresh fruits. If I could have asked for anything, it would be different kinds of meat for the bread - if you are not a cheese person, it wasn't really exciting to take a "bun" (in Danish I would call it a tiny baguette).
Check in was easy (but would have loved for earlier than 3pm - without extra payment) and early check out (3am) just as easy.
Overall a very good stay and I would easily go back to this hotel next time.
The location was fine - took about 15 minutes to walk down to the marble arch. Close to the tube and Paddington station for both tube and trains.

Great place
Wonderful staff

I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody because, it was very dirty and stinky with a lot of noise. Hotels staff were not helpful at all. Please find somewhere better for your stay.
Don’t get fooled by the pictures and what they have to offer.
4.2
Considering the is small but i like this hotel because it is clean and quiet the staff very friendly
4.2
Service and cleanliness very good, & access to Paddington station. This is a very good option for a transfer stay, but the immediate neighborhood is pretty dirty & noisy for Westminster. Rooms very small but tidy, staff very friendly and attentive.
4.2
Great overnight hotel when traveling and need a one night stop. We took a train in from Paris. Needed a hotel close to Paddington for a morning flight out of Heathrow.
Will stay again.
4.2
I think it was a bit ridiculous that you had to pay to store your luggage.

Only stayed a night, but room was well furnished and spotlessly clean. Very happy with my stay, would use again. Thanks.

Th dtaff at this hotel were amingzingly helpful and friendly! The rooms and the hotel in general are super clean and in great condition. Very easy access to the underground and Paddington station with fast train to Heathrow. Really great stay!

This hotel is in a great spot within walking distance to Paddington station, and has a laundromat close by as well. Plus there’s a ton of restaurants around and a Tesco Express is across the street.
Building is in good condition and so was my small room which is on the sub-floor. Water pressure in the shower was weak. Comfy bed. Nice TV.
However the air conditioning didn’t work. It was around 28 degrees (Celsius) in the room. After a shower the humidity spiked. It was unbearable. Staff insisted it would be fixed within an hour. It was not. Also, there was no window that could be opened in any way in this room. Sleeping was almost impossible. There was no communication from staff regarding the status. No fans were offered either for rental or for free, and due to the environmental conditions, I only managed about 4 hours sleep before needing to catch a flight out of London in the morning.
They have got to do better than this. It’s a nice hotel, and the room would have sufficed if it wasn’t so hot.
Because of the lack of communication, no options for a fan and no window, I will never stay here again.
4.2
Bad service. They dont clean rooms daily, they dont change towels.
Very small rooms
