The room a neat but very old !

We were hiking a section of the CDT and came off early. We asked to drop our backpacks off before hiking 6 miles to retrieve our car at a trailhead. We were told we couldn't leave them because of liability issues. Finally talked them into being able to leave them outside the cabin we would have for the night. Have never had the experience of not being able to store bags for a couple hours at a lodge or hotel.

Very nice resort with a beautiful view of the sunset from pool and deck. Also close, easy access to rocky mountain national park. Would definately recommend.

The water pressure in the shower was very low.

Very small shower and not much water pressure. The one blind wouldn’t close. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Some of the staff had just started. I couldn’t get a receipt for my stay. A bar staff had never heard of Cabernet Sauvignon. Probably nearing end of season and some people probably left. We loved our cabin. Great view!

Great Location and Great Staff. The food was very good as well.

Cabin was extraordinarily noisey. When we asked the front desk the told my husband maintenance recommended that they not rent out our cabin. We asked for more information and they told us the manager want in. They then sent someone over who turned some machine under the cabin off. Tried to call manger and hotel numerous times and have a text saying they don't answer phones while music is playing. I have video and pictures. Won't go back.

We had a great time. Loved the lodge.

View was amazing. The cabin was cute but the bed was very small.

The initial room was small with a TV that wasn’t working. They upgraded me to a much nicer room which worked out great. Very nice place and staff. I plan to return.

The Grand Lake Lodge never disappoints - we have been coming for years and each and every visit is wonderful! The staff and the restaurant make for an extremely enjoyable stay - and of course the View!

Awesome reception , restaurant and bar area with fireplace!

Felt that the total cost for the quality of the cabin room (with additional payment for room cleaning for a pet) was too much. The lodge is beautiful with all the flowers!

Highly recommend anyone looking to stay with Grand Lake Lodge. Not only is there historic value but it is secluded, peaceful, and beautiful. The staff are outstanding as well as the amenities and access to the main town of Grand Lake. Highly recommend staying and will return in the future

This place is historic and quaint. The staff is very customer focused and attentive. I met so many people from across the country here who were very nice and friendly. I definitely will be back. I forgot to mention that their food and cocktails are wonderful.

Hospitality, food, swimming pool, hot tub and the lodge was awesome. The grounds of all the viewing areas was great. Little pricey for size of rooms but cozy. The young man at the check in desk from England was excellent. We will be returning again, thank you 😊 🙏.

The location and views of the lake were stunning. Having drinks on the lower terrace at sunset, warmed by the fire, will be something to remember. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our half-cabin room was clean and comfortable. We slept well and it was nice and quiet at night, even with the windows open to the cool mountain air. The cabins are a little cramped (the shower a little uncomfortably so), but I don't think there's much to be done about that given the historic nature of the cabins. I'd consider the price a little high only for the room, but worth it given the location, views, grounds, staff, etc.

Fantastically kept up.

Cabins are outdated, worn and not worthy of the price - there are no amenities, closets, hangers, desk, chair - only a bed. Showers are small and dirty. Spiders in room upon arrival. Cabins are very overpriced for the quality of the experience. However, the main lodge is nice and the grounds are beautiful- our advice - stop in for a drink but don’t book an overnight stay.

We were just there for a 1-night stay. Stayed in one of the half cabins and it was pretty small but comfortable. We misplaced a pair of sunglasses, searched the room with no luck but reported them lost. The housekeeping staff found them & we paid to have them shipped back to us!! So glad to not have to buy a new pair of prescription sunglasses!!

The integrity has been maintained on this historical lodge yet has been beautifully updated to keep guests comfortable. I’ve been coming to this lodge for 30 years and I hope for another 30. Thank you Grand Lake Lodge💙

I love that there was a texting option to let staff know when to come collect, trash, or if we needed extra blankets, toilet paper, towels etc. Such a cute little cabin with a ton of adventures and amazing views around it!! Would def stay here again.

Grand Lake Lodge is a very nice place to stay.

Fantastic location, wonderful deck and tavern, friendly helpful staff. Dining is great as expected, good service, good foos great view, pricy buy that's expected.
Cabins need more TLC and are needing some maintenence to maintain rustic essence but with safety and comfort.

Poor restaurant and bar service. The room was small, hot, dirty and the bed uncomfortable. It was way overpriced for what we got.Would not return

The cabin was cozy and clean. The view is spectacular. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy everything.

A coffee maker in the room would be nice since you offer coffee only at 7am and some people would like to get into the National Park earlier (like 6am or even 5am!) and there is no possible coffee option. It's easier to bring a breakfast since you offer a fridge and micro. But coffee??? Those pod coffee makers would be a great idea! It was a bit disappointing that it isn't offered in the cabins. And no coffee shops are open in town before 7am either. Solution is to just provide a machine in the roooms.
The dining menu is pretty limited.
Not sure if there was anything food wise for breakfast I only saw cookies. Would be a good idea to put a list of products one can purchase next to the coffee machines. I am sure people would like some wraps or sandwiches to take with for the day on their hikes.
Parking is a problem. There are not enough spaces for the units you have.
Overall the property is really nice and rustic. Everyone was really nice as well from the staff. I will come back (hopefully with coffee IN THE ROOM :).

Beautiful place. Restaurant is delicious. Showers are too small.

Camping is better then their cabins. Paper thin walls, shower with very little water, no privacy, noisy. I'd rather stay in a tent

We booked this last minute when our flights were cancelled. It turned out to be a highlight of our trip. We stayed in a jute tent overlooking a beautiful lake. Dinner was the best out of the whole trip. Highly recommend!
