Location is great! Great view! Only thing i didn't like is that there was no AC only a ceiling fan and it was super hot! Opening the balcony windows worked a little bit. It is a busy and load location to be at. But it was great for the price!

The place is in the heart of city center and walkable to all the tourist spots in Madrid. The rooms were clean and host was also cordial to us the entire stay. She also helped with late check in.

Very expensive and very basic with shared toilet. Not at all what we expected from booking. Quite rude service although they didn’t have what we booked and expected. Would recommend other people to stay away. Price almost 3 times what would be fair.

The Hostel room is so clean, but the elevator often does not work well. The hostel is not responsible for the malfunction of the elevator as it is shared with other facilities.

Located right across from Callao Metro, this is the perfect place if your priority is cost and location. We stayed in Room 8, which is a double room with a shower in the room, but no toilet. Shower was very convenient to have in the room, but like others said, it's kind of strange because it's very small, in the corner of the room and the top is open, plus it's easy to get water everywhere when you step in/out. No street view; a nice size with a bed comfortable enough to get great sleep after tons of walking/sightseeing/partying; a desk; a closet; window you can open for fresh air; towels provided; and a TV (which has HitTV with entertaining American/European pop music videos). Also quiet, I didn't hear other guests like others reported they did in their reviews. I wouldn't stay here if you don't speak at least a beginner level of Spanish because the woman who runs the place doesn't speak English, nor does the staff to the best of my knowledge. I'm probably an intermediate level Spanish speaker and we got by fine, just know she speaks very fast! We booked in advance and were charged for 1 night, then paid the remainder on arrival. We had to wait until 2pm to check in, but she let us leave our luggage/use the bathroom when we initially arrived at around 11am. We were only in the room to sleep and get ready before going out somewhere (tons of shopping, restaurants, etc. on Gran Via and in the general area), and if that's what you're looking for, it's perfect!

The locations is excellent, in the heart of downtown Madrid on the Gran Via, my room had a beautiful view of the city.

Was just one night after a very busy weekend in this part of Madrid. Overall very comfy, large room n view too. There was a heatwave so really needed AirCon as it is noisey if u open the windows.
