Our room had a very old and torn chair in it. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The bathroom floor tiles were loose and coming up. The floors were dirty and stained. Nothing much good here.

Nice front desk staff. Hotel seemed fairly clean but rooms are in serious need of updates. A/C did not maintain temp, had to adjust thermostat throughout the night between 65 & 75. Bathroom fixtures obviously rusted, shower head pressure so hard it was painful, like needles. Difficult to maintain hot water. Quality of room reminded me of a Motel 6.

We did not get to stay at this hotel. We were not given the room we reserved which was a king bed suite. Instead we were given a suite with a queen. There were 3 of us. When questioned the receptionist about it she said Hotels.com did not send the correct room reservation. In addition, they were out of rooms. She gave me a copy of the reservation made by Hotels.com and it right but she handwrote that we reserved a queen suite! She lied and more than likely gave my room to someone else. We arrived there at 10:20 and because of this we weren’t able to find a room at another hotel until almost midnight! This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Great customer service at front desk in room full fridge and 2 burner hot plate recliner great stay

The room was very clean.
My issue was that the elevator didn’t work on coming down from the 2nd floor room 208 we had to call the front desk every time we needed to go back down or we had to take the stairs.Very bad on my knees😥
I booked this hotel because on the website there was a grilling area with a grill. I arrived on Friday Oct 11, 2024 with 8 ribeyes and potatoes to grill for my son birthday and family weekend and the clerk at the front desk informed me that the grill didn’t work. But when we were leaving they were replacing the grill with a new one.

Overall for a one night, it was pretty great! King size bed was really comfy and soft. The room was really clean and spacious, also loved that the pull out couch had its own lil private space in the room. The staff who helped us was really helpful, kind and patient with our last min check in room. Next time we plan a trip there, definitely gonna get a room there again!!

The floor was damp and it was very sticky and humid in the room. The handles in the bathroom were noticeably rusted. I found a chunk of food on the curtains. Not what I expected for what I paid.

There were holes in wall and seemed a little dingy. think it was under construction.

Great place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful.

We selected Candlewood because they have recliners in the room. It didn't work but i was able to repair it. The night manager made every effort to accomodate us.
The hotel was being remodeled. I believe given the remodel the room and facility were clean as they could be. It was not as clean as it should have been.
Given the state of the industry, this is what i expect for a room for less than 200 per night.

Great stay, but not very many amenities.

Like that is was near outlet mall.

The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, I really loved a complete room, the kitchen with everything I needed, just what I needed, very spacious for those of us who have a large family, my children loved it, the staff was very friendly and what I liked most was that it is very Well located, very close to restaurants, shops and the river is super close, I definitely recommend it.

Room was good, the hotel was under some remodeling? But not my room. Staff was very nice and helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, there was only one coffee to make in the room & the complimentary coffee in lobby was terrible, brown muddy color. Outside sitting areas in the back were good

The bed said king and it was queen

Deeply disappointed, ripped comforter and GIANT ROACHES

We were there for Texas State Graduation, the room was nice, just a little outdated looking, but very comfortable.

When we were staying there, the elevator broke.

There was no parking on the property. Room was in bad shape. Wasn’t worth the $200 they charged at all but I had to get because every other hotel was booked. Won’t ever stay there again

Cockroaches!!!!! Bugs my kid woke up with a bad bite on her neck. Was not clean at all! Had to ask for coffee no breakfast!

This property should be called "Candlewood Studios" because the rooms aren't suites. Just a standard room with a kitchenette added to the corner. During our 5 night stay, our room smelled of fish from day one, and the smell never went away.
The microwave didn't work & one of the bedside lamps didn't work. There was a hole in the curtains and the bathroom sink had a slow leak that caused a small permanent puddle on the countertop. These issues were brought up with the reception desk on our first day and we're never fixed. Wouldn't stay here again.

Property is in a great location. Room and amenities were definitely subpar for the price paid. Staff tried to be accommodating but even after moving rooms the same issues arose. Non-working TV. AC that didn’t work properly. Not what I would have expected after paying 200.00 USD per night. I’ve had better rooms in Austin paying half as much.

The room was perfect for the price. I wish I had a longer stay to enjoy the kitchenette. There is a microwave and 2 burner elec stove. Also a large fridge. Plenty of room for 2 people.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past 8 years. We were always pleased. However this time , there was an unpleasant odor upon entering the front door. The carpets were worn and stained in the hallways. Renovations of rooms on our floor caused noise and hallway clutter. We did not have but two towels in the room upon arrival. We went to front desk to ask for hand towels. The coffee was out of cream and no sugar available. The desk employees were pleasant. We have season football tickets and have enjoyed the stay in the past but Not sure if we will book our upcoming stays at this location.

Carpet was visibly dirty throughout hotel and the view from the pool was the overflowing dumpster.

Property needs some attention. Hallway & room carpet is in worst shape, stains everywhere.
Bathrooms needs improvement, no hot water (just warm water). Not at IHG standards.

Our room was fine. Pretty clean . Only thing I can complain about is the noise of cars and sirens from the freeway that’s across.

Place smelled and wasn’t like pictures

Black Mold growing on the top of the shower. Shower fixtures have massive water spot build-up. The carpet in the hallway was nasty dirty. My curtains had rips down them. Other than that, the staff was amazing and helpful, room was a great size, bed was comfy, and for the most part it was quiet, however, I would stay as far away from the elevator as possible. Every time someone pressed the button, you could hear it ding in the room.

The hotel is clean but dated.
6.0
The property is dated and in need up an update.

The price was okay but if we knew the elevator was broken before we got there we would have changed hotels. It was just too late. At our age walking up 4 flights was no picnic.

This hotel is in need of a refreshing uplift. Our room was fully equipped for a long term stay but was overdue for a refresh and was a bit outdated. We requested a quiet room away from the elevators. The desk clerk assigned us a room away from the elevator but it was facing the highway! We didnt realize how noisy the vehicle noise was until we went to bed..There was so much vehicle noise that at times we felt like our bed was in the middle of the freeway. This noise made it difficult to rest and sleep that night. We didn't want to pack up and change rooms in the middle of the night so we stayed put. We selected this hotel due to it's location but found that this was not a good choice for us. We thought that the desk clerk would have known to select a quiet room away from the freeway, but I guess not..Therefore I will be more specific when I request a quiet room in the future.

Hotel definitely needs some attention, also ask put in for 2 adults and a child. Room was a "suite" bedroom had a king bed and the living area had a less than adequate sofa bed. If the hotels weren't sold out due to a college tour we would have gone elsewhere.

Overall the service is good, some inconvenience with the elevators not working.

Room nice however no blow dryer in room. Receptionist behind a wall and you had to call
Out to get attention for help.
