The Ebb Tide is always amazing , the customer service is outstanding. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We have been coming to the Ebb Tide with our two pups for the last 4 years for thanksgiving and we just booked for 2025 already. We have stayed in the same room for the last 4 years and we can’t tell you how much we appreciate that. We love our room.

We haven’t stayed at the Ebb Tide in awhile, and never on the renovated side. It was so comfortable, great with a pet and kid, cozy, clean, lots of amenities, great breakfast, close to beach, and friendly staff all over! We’ll be back!

Here is the deal this not a 9 like Hotels says. Yes the staff is great. This hotel is old. My room 224 smelled like urine and cigarettes. Sure I had a fire place, with a 15 minutes timer. It was kind of an ocean view over the dunes you could see waves crashing. Mold in the bathroom, that wasnt ideal. Beds that could double as wall boards. This place has a saving grace, the staff. They were helpful when I was schmuck when reserving a room and reserved wrong night. They let me fix it at no charge. This staff is wonderful hotel needs SERIOUS WORK. If you choose to stay here hopefully you dont get the pee-mold room like me. Regrettably i left this hotel and did not stay as I was going to sleep in my clothes and i hate doing that. I didnt ask for a refund bc of the problems i caused trying to book, and i dont want one. But not going to risk these cheap 9s any more.

We were there for Portland to Coast, we’ve stayed here for a few years now. They are always very accommodating, friendly and overall a great place to stay at. The hotel is a little on the older side, but it suits our needs perfectly. Their breakfast is good, a great selection of warm and cold foods. It’s within walking distance to everything including the beach.

Needed a beach visit and couldn't have found a better spot. Staff is wonderful! Breakfast, Fantastic! Room was well equipped with microwave, mini fridge, keurig, beach towels. Beds were VERY comfy! Distance to beach..steps away! Planning a return trip before we even left! It is an older hotel, so, some wear noted but nothing to spoil a trip. OH, and the shower! Felt so good after a beach day.

Right on the ocean. Clean and comfortable. No air conditioning but a fan was provided and that was plenty. Friendly and efficient check in and check out. Nice breakfast selection.

Clean, safe and comfortable. Easy check in. Descent breakfast and pretty good coffee. Nice touch with the fresh afternoon cookies. Quick service when needed. Rooms may need some updating. The person responsible for the breakfast atea and attending needs was never present for two days. We had to get a hold of the lobby when things were messy or needed restock.

I brought my daughter to the Oregon coast to celebrate her 50th birthday. I was looking for a hotel with an indoor pool and have an ocean view. Our visit went so fast we never got to the pool, so we will definitely need to return soon.

On the positive side, the staff was extremely friendly and check in was simple and quick. Breakfast was decent and the hotels location was great! Unfortunately; when we checked in, the first room they gave us has something in the sink that was really gross. They rectified it immediately and gave us another room. It was as clean as it could be, but so incredibly run down and worn it was unfortunate. The carpet was a little sticky in some places. The sink in the bathroom had rust where at the drain inside the sink. It was an okay stay. I do understand that they are updating the rooms. I would not stay again and wouldn’t recommend, but maybe it will improve when the renovations are completed. I

Great location on the beach. The staff was very friendly, and the room was comfortable. My only complaint is the sheets are a little scratchy. The hotel may be a little older, but it is well kept. I would stay here again.

carpeting in hallway seemed dated-the interior of the elevator was very poor-obviously the EDGES and Corners were very dirty- they need to use a vacuum that gets into the corners and edges. Staff was very good.

Amazing, friendly, helpful front desk people. Wonderful, clean room, great price. Perfect location. Fresh cookies at night, delicious hot breakfast with cheerful greeter/cleaner. Easy walk to dinner options as we were right at the cute historic area and the beach.

Rooms are on the older side, but great location, nice warm pool and hot tub and very family friendly and pet friendly. So if you dont like to hear dogs and kids may not be your jam.

This property is dated and it didn’t smell very good. The room was really warm and didn’t offer air conditioning. We had to sleep with the windows open which was noisy. It worked for the night. There was not enough seating for breakfast. We won’t go back.

Front desk staff were awesome! Very friendly! I was confused on the housekeeping. We were skipped the first couple days which was fine but when I went to ask them to empty our trash, no one spoke any English and they just handed me towels that we didn’t need. Parking was terrible though and they did allow some people to use cones to block off their spaces which was a little ridiculous. We all wanted close spaces to our rooms even if we didn’t have fancy cars.

My husband and I checked in on August 19th for a one night stay. We usually stay along Cannon Beach but decided to try something new this year and stayed at Ebb Tide. My reservations was inadvertently cancelled. The manager had already gone home after her shift (I had checked in late) but she came in just to resolve the issue. She also showed up early to work the next day to confirm everything went through with no errors. Talk about dedication! The oceanview room was very spacious, one of the bigger rooms we have ever stayed in. The only reason why I gave 4 stars for cleanliness is because the dishware was still dirty, it looked like a previous guest ate salad on plate, did not even wipe it and stuck it back in the cupboard. Not the fault of the cleaning staff as they would have assumed the dishes were clean if they are in the cupboard. They had a surprising amount of variety for breakfast - eggs, sausages, yogurt, milk, pancakes, waffles, etc. The area is quite safe and quiet, not as vibrant as Cannon Beach area. This is a place to stay if you're looking to get away from the crowd but still be near the ocean. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the taffy is a sweet touch! I'd definitely return.

We travel a lot and this is my favorite place to stay. Its a little dated but always clean, amazing staff and the location CANT BE BEAT. Right on the beach, right next to all the town attractions but right in the edge of it all so its quiet. We stayed 5 days and they still come in every day and clean the room. The breakfast is fantastic. The best hotel breakfast we've ever had. So many options, nice breakfast room, and its all tasty! We cant wait for our next stay.

54-year-old hotel, kind of dated. Dog friendly, nice pet welcome basket. Beds too hard & high. Nowhere near enough pans, dishes, utensils. Room sleeps 4, but only 3 dining chairs with tiny table for 2. Nowhere to sit & read except on the bed which only had a nightstand/light on one side. Nice breakfast included. Cloverdale sausages were soooo good!

Check in was fast. The staff were really great. Room was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The breakfast, cookies, and taffy were a nice extra. Great location. Only complaint for us which is personal preference was the beds were too firm for us so we woke up sore.
