The hotel room is a bit "used", outdated, did not seem clean, no liquid soap in the bottle had to use shampoo, iron tour my blouse, sheet kept coming off mattress, the room just did not feel clean. Needs a remodel.

Our toilet in our room did not work properly. Forcing us to go downstairs to use their public bathroom. When we called the front desk multiple times, they were less than helpful and didn’t seem to care. Told someone would come fix it, then just told us to put the Do Not disturb sign in for the night? Weird response. We gave up trying to get it fixed. The keys also didn’t work for the first room they gave us, so we had to go back downstairs and they switched us rooms. Seems to me that this hotel needs a lot of maintenance and some help in customer service.

Great place to stay in Baton Rouge. Lots of really good dining options within walking distance. Parking ample and on-site. Great river views from the room. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Baton Rouge.

Staff was helpful and nice. Everything looked a bit aged. We had stayed there one year ago and it felt less clean and tidy.

I liked the location of the hotel. The room itself was good but the hotel could use a remodel. Although comfortable it does look dated. The staff was very nice and friendly.

We arrived at hotel at 2:45 (check in was at 3:00pm) and was told that room was not ready and would not be ready at 3:00. We had reservations and a concert to attend. Went back at 4:00 pm and room was ready, however we were never notified like they said we would be.

Horrible! Shower curtains had mold, water had a sewer like smell, and there was sharp metal rods coming out the side of bed frame!

Nice room. Dog friendly hotel, although the pet rate on Expedia is wrong. Easy walk to the capitol building. The area is very quiet on the weekends.

We were traveling as a family from Texas to Florida and pulled in to Baton Rouge for the night. The first room we got was nice but it says it slept 5 (5th person on a couch, not a pull out) and it was NOT a couch. So I went back downstairs and they made it right by moving us to a king suite. That had a pull out couch that 2 of our kids slept on and the suite was big enough to pull in a cot. First surprise- the cot is a full size and thickness twin bed on a specialized dolly frame. Our oldest son slept so well on that!
Then breakfast- it was amazing. Well appointed. Freshly made. Lots of options! And the hostess was so kind and helpful!
Honestly when I was looking for a hotel on hotels.com I looked at the reviews. Most were great but what I noticed was that the staff responded to all of them! They care what you think of their facility! The only complaint I read was parking is $22 on the property but I was fine with that. They do have a garage around the corner that's about $10 cheaper but we had a car topper on so we couldn't do a garage. But our stuff was secure and there on property.
Overall- I would definitely stay here again. Room was beautiful and clean, as mentioned staff was very helpful and receptive and breakfast was great. I would go back to Baton Rouge again just to stay here!

Property was nice. We didn’t love that we had to pay for parking $22.
The first room they put us in didn’t have a working refrigerator so they switched rooms. Otherwise the room was decent. Not super clean ( remnant from previous guest could be seen. Otherwise it was fine.

One of the elevators did not go to the first floor. my 84 year old mother was with me so walking the stairs was not an option. Had to wait 15 minutes for an elevator on more than one occasion.
