Clean, quiet, convenient stop in Kanab. Walkable to the whole business district. Comfortable, with cool 50s decor.

1 night stay on a longer trip, room was cute, water pressure was adequate with nice hot water. Bed was comfortable. Dreamcast was served at sister hotel down the street. The price was very good, I would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.

It was very clean and everyone was very helpful. With everyone having extra electronic devices it was very handy to have extra plugins on both sides of the headboard. Would stay here again.

Rooms were nice and clean. Had to check in at the Best Western down the street, which was weird. Also pretty thin walls. But clean rooms, very comfy beds, and free breakfast at the Best Western. Will definitely stay here again!

Cute family room with three full-size beds even though the website stated twin beds. Walking distance to restaurants and cafés. Historical sites, lots of hiking, beautiful scenery, and nice people. Vintage motel with lots of charm and comfortable beds!

Ok motell for a stop over, perfectly situated on the beautiful main street. Unfortunately there was no staff at the reception so we had to check in at a different hotel down the street, where breakfast also was served. The beds were clean but as the lights behind the beds were lit we could see layers of dust on the walls. There’s a common space with tables and chairs opposite the parking lot. The pool was closed for the season which was a pity as it was real hot. We could however use the pool at the hotel down the street

Best hidden gem in Kanab. We've been traveling through the area for the last 10 years and always stay at Aiken's Lodge. Haven't been disappointed. A bid dated, but always clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the Best Western a block away, as well as access to their exercise facility is a nice bonus.

Loved the city of Kanab and it was our base location for national parks and monuments in the region. Quaint, updated motel with several units with more than one bedroom. Nice to have the extra space. Staff very helpful, but limited on site time. Support always available, as well as a nice breakfast at the sister hotel half a block away. Lots of movies made in this town and there is information as you walk about various actors. Air conditioners in room could use replaced…not very efficient. Decorations in the 50’s style (although new)

I really wanted to support a local family owned motel in Kanab and so I chose Aiken's Lodge. At no fault of their own, the owners had to leave town and couldn't find staffing to run the front office. We arrived late in the evening to find a note one door to walk a few blocks down to the Best Western to check in. No problem, but concerning at first.
It's obvious the rooms have been updated with new carpet and furniture, and updated bathrooms. However, the shower was still vintage 50's or 60's which was dissapointing. The AC unit struggled throughout, and was loud, and probably needs to be retired.
As a way to earn extra income for the property, a food truck was parked an in business next to the classic truck. It seemed out of place.
The location on the main street through town is perfect and allowed for walking to various shops and restaurants. Loved that!
Finally, if the owners could find a way to create a public gathering event each evening - perhaps around the pool or the unused fire pits, it would have made for a much more festive atmosphere for guests to meet one another and share stories about their adventures in the area.

Though the property was basic it was clean and the staff was friendly.

Arrived to find sign on office saying that check-in was at The Best Western up the road, and breakfast was also there, and extra towels? Well you had to go to Best Western for them too. Perhaps we should have stayed there instead? The other kicker was that the great price advertised on Hotels.com was for one person occupancy! I was charged 3x the extra occupancy rate for the other 3 members of my family despite this being a two bed roomed ‘family room’! It wasn’t a good deal at all after that, particularly with the inconvenience of having to go to the Best Western for everything! The phone in the room didn’t work, the people upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants when they walked, the air conditioning units were old and noisy, the blinds in the back bedroom were broken and the curtains could not be closed because of the air conditioner. Between the noise and light, it was impossible to get a good night’s sleep!

It was a quaint property, retro interior was cute! The shower floor needs to be redone. Beds were comfortable. Need to inform guests on how to turn off lights around the bed. Good breakfast at sister property. Windows need to be replaced.

Remodeled and clean mid-century motel room and bathroom. Bed, pillows and bedding were really comfortable. The price was very fare and would definitely stay here again.

Love the 50s aesthetic! Beds were comfortable. Clearly not well staffed at all. More than half the rooms were dirty at check in, I'm assuming they're ALL dirty this morning at check out. Had to check in at the best Western and not F the property

Everything was great; room condition and cleanliness, staff, etc, except the shower. Shower tile around base needed bleach. Overall still a good value, and I would stay there again in the future.

Although retro, definitely can tell the place was clean and taken care of. It may be out of date, yet it was clean and the service was helpful.

It has a retro feel to it. Lots of space for a 2 bedroom unit. Conveniently located. The office is closed onsite, but managed well from the neighboring Bear Western.

We visited the 4th of July weekend. New management treated us great. They let us swim in the pool later than the posted time which the kiddos where stoked about.
Our rooms AC quit working in the evening and management quickly relocated us to another room. Grateful for that.
We love Aikens Lodge and always stay here on our Southern Utah travels
