Excellent stay in Boston’s North End. Steps from everything. Fantastic location, and great room!

Lovely spot! Some things need updating (chair in the room was a bit worn and some lighting features in the bathroom were not functioning), but overall wonderful! Additionally, it's great waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread from the bakery downstairs, but unfortunately you hear them making a lot of noise in the kitchen in the early hours of the morning! But it wasn't bothersome. Rooms are comfortable and chic; bed is out of this world comfortable and the staff are very kind.

The room is located above a restaurant that you need to pass through to get to the stairs. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator). We chose it since is has 2 bedrooms, so the kids had their own room.
The shower was huge so it was greate. We recived few bottles of water every day.
The room vas very clean.
For parking you need to look for a parking lot somewhere around. They vary in price

Our stay was great. I would've liked room service throughout the days I was there. I would've also liked for a telephone to be in the room so that I can call a front desk. My sink was clogged a bit but I couldn't call anyone to dix it until the restaurant was opened. By then, I was out and about. Seems like front desk was only available once the restaurant downstairs opened. It was a nice and cozy place. I like how the restaurants and stores were all walking distance.

Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. A bit noisy in evening from crowds and music nearby but music stopped by 11:00 pm. Reception is located in restaurant and after checkin a staff member showed us to our room. Room cleaning available upon request by leaving door hanger on the handle. Bottled water provided daily. We did not use daily cleaning so we request additional coffee pods that were promptly brought to our room. There is no elevator but they offered assistance with luggage. We were on first floor so the flight of stairs wasn’t an issue. Nice restaurant onsite but also in a great location in Little Italy for walking to sites and for restaurants. Close to a few pastry & coffee shops for breakfast.

Hello we stayed at the hotel from August 29 through the Sep 2. everything was good. The only complaint we have is that my wife sweater went missing. She took a sweater because we are from Florida and we are not used to the cold weather ( we arrived at midnight so it was a little cold ) when we got to the hotel she put the sweater on a chair and did not used it because the weather was perfect. Whe it was time to leave. We had an early flight 5:00am when it was time to leave she started to look for her sweater. We unpacked our bags thinking we put it away by mistake. There no sweater anywhere. We looked all over the room but no signs of her sweater. We decided to get home unpacked to make sure before writing a review. So yes her sweater disappeared from the room. That is no cool at all. We have stayed at this apartment before but this will be our last time staying there.

Bricco suites is a fantastic place to stay in a very vibrant neighborhood. Check in is at the restaurant downstairs, so be aware if coming during off hours. We arrived at 10 am. The staff was very helpful; holding our bags, offering places to go and things to do, use of clean, nice bathrooms. When we were able to check in, they offered to carry our bags to the third floor. There is no elevator, so ask for a room on a lower floor if steps aren’t your thing! Room was clean, roomy and tastefully decorated with water in the fridge and coffee with real creamers!!

A fabulous location in the north end of Boston in little Italy! So fun and close to so much! Highly recommend.

Great stay.

Very nice room is a Little noises as all the restaurants air conditioning units were behind the headboard wall, also would have been nice to have the room cleaned, and soaps/coffee etc replenished without having to wait for the restaurant to open to request items, possibly a phone number for a concierge would help. As I felt in the way in a very popular bustling restaurant asking for shower gel and coffee , but on the whole enjoyable and great location.

We really enjoyed our stay here at the Bricco Suites. Such a perfect location to really get that neighborhood feel in Boston's North End. We were close to everything and the T station was only about a 5 minute walk away. In the hot summer weather the air conditioning was perfect. Our room was made up everyday with a cleaning and fresh towels (not something that you get in the large Hotel chains anymore).

I had a very nice 1-bedroom suite in this pensione located above a restaurant. Larger than expected. Check in was a little hectic as I happened to get there during the restaurants dinner rush but staff was very nice and carried my bag up 3 flights of stairs. Location is very noisy late into the night but very convenient for shops, restaurants, historic sights and the waterfront area so overall I was happy with it. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in Boston.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained suites. Parking in the area is virtually non existent.

The location is amazing and the rooms are very large and comfortable. For four adults, the suites offered so much more space to spread out than a traditional hotel room and we really enjoyed how upgraded the room felt. The room didn’t have a coffee pot but they did provide a kettle and tea.

It was good overall!

Great location. It is loud at night but we turned up the AC to drown out the noise. The staff allowed us to drop off bags early until the room was ready which was convenient. Very walkable to T, restaurants and historic sites.
Only complaint was no microwave and pillows were very useless and even though we had four to five of them…. None provided head support.

First of all the place was in the middle of a crowded restaurant Street and the street was very tiny too many cars very noisy very loud in the top of all that Hotel was in the top of the restaurant which was owned by the same people who owns the hotel to like 1 o’clock at night yelling screaming like 12 or 1 o’clock in the morning and delivery trucks Cars around 3 o’clock in the morning allows place to stay the sound comes through the windows like it’s right next to about 5 feet Room and it was just lousy place to stay for the price we paid . honestly, I was trying to leave but it was kind of hard to find another place. It’s a shame I will never ever recommend this place to no one.

This property is located on above a noisy restaurant so do not expect to get any rest if you stay here. It is located in a very busy part of the north end of Boston. Also, the management is hard to get a hold of. The only thing I requested during my stay was a receipt after I left and I am still waiting for a reply from the management several days later.

Location was great very walkable to the restaurants in the north end, financial district, and west end. The pillows and bedding seemed like it was from a college dorm, cheap and not comfortable. I am used to city noise and usually can sleep through anything but it was so noisy and loud I was not able to sleep more than a few hours a night. A couple of nights I got back around the time the restaurant was closing and had to wait for all the workers taking trash out before I can get down the alley to the hotel door for like 10 minutes. I have stayed in the north end before at different hotels and had a way better experience. I do not recommend staying here as there are more affordable better options in the area.

Super clean, modern accommodations. Absolutely loved the place and would go again. Perfect location and friendly staff as well.

Leah made the best espresso martini ever. She works in the bar below the apartments. I think the place could use a comfy couch instead of a dining room table. The kitchenette doesn’t have any pots and pans so it isn’t like you can cook a meal to eat at the table anyway

Lack of coffee machine was the only negative. But making tea with a whistling kettle was a blast from the past. Staff were all more than helpful. The are around is extremely busy, but this was a good thing.

We will definitely stay at this property again! Easy walk to the North Station/public transportation. The best part was the distance to so much delicious food. We are a family with a tween and teen and they both agree. The only negative, as other reviewers noted, was there was no comfy seating in the living/dining area. We weren’t there that much so it didn’t bother us.

The location is excellent, we didn't want to rent a car because of the parking difficulties, so we look for a place downtown close to train station an buses, this is it. Additionally you got great restaurant in the area, for brakefast, lunch and dinner.
The staff were grate, we actually need them for the checkin and the check out. Our suite was clean everyday spotless.

We'll definitely are going to stay again in the future.

We LOVED it. The check in process was pretty easy, But there are no elevators though, and you have to walk up the stairs, so it might not be most covenient for those that have a lot of luggage to carry. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. We had a party of 3, and with 2 bedrooms, it was more than enough for us. Because of the location of the suite, there are plenty of options for food. There are many good restaurants around you, and also by a mere 7-8 min walk, you have quincy market, where there are COUNTLESS food stands and different varieties of food. This was definitely one of the top reasons we reserved the suite. The only negative thing i have to say really is the noise. You can hear music and people talking at nearby restaurants at night, We stayed from saturday night until Wednesday night, saturday night was the worst in terms of noise, but its the weekend and everyone was out in little Italy, so it’s understandable. During work week nights. It became more tolerable. But, the music and chatting didn’t bother us nearly as much as the people living on top of us. Throughout the entirety of our stay, We constantly heard them walking around and making stomping noises and moving chairs around, they do this mainly in the morning starting from 6:00AM, it was extremely frustrating. But, the situation we had were unique to us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Lovely, large apartment. In the heart of Little Italy, close to cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as a number of historical sites. Highly recommend.

We stayed for the weekend in Boston. We needed a place for 4 people. We rented one of the two queen bedroom options. Check in was around 6:30pm for us. The restaurant was busy but they were super quick and polite getting us checked in. We walked just around the building to alley to get to our room. Yes, it’s a tight squeeze on the stairs and there is not an elevator. Not a problem for us. The room was exactly as we expected. Very spacious and clean. The shower was amazing. Beds were comfy. We opted out of house keeping but had fresh restocked bottled water every day. There was a little bit of noise from late night diners outside downstairs on Saturday night but what do you expect from staying in such a great location?! We definitely will be back.

This place is expensive, but what you’re paying for is location, location, location! If you want to be smack dab in the middle of Little Italy, this is your place. It’s scrupulously clean and the beds and pillows are top drawer. Slept like the dead.
It’s attached to the Bricco restaurant where the food is incredible. Granted, I’m from the Midwest and Olive Garden is near my home. Bricco restaurant—I thought I died and went to heaven. Expensive, but oh!
Now the downsides. It was expensive for my Minnesota sensibilities. Three nights for our family was more than the mortgage. Since this was a rare thing, it was worth it to be in the right place.
It’s not a traditional hotel. It’s a part of the Bricco restaurant next door. There’s no “front desk.” You see the maitre d’ in the restaurant to check in. So that’s a bit weird. But it was workable. The staff is awesome…but when the restaurant closes, so does the “front desk.” You’re on your own until 10 am. If 24 hour staff is important to you, this is not your place. We are pretty self sufficient, so we didn’t care. I did, however, memorize the address of the place in case I had to tell a 911 dispatcher where to send help. As I said, you’re on your own.
Also, if you are mobility impaired, this is not your place. It’s an accessibility nightmare. It’s a three floor walk up with no elevator! I don’t recommend the walk from an area restaurant up that narrow staircase with a tummy full of pasta and a glass of Prosecco!

Great location in the north end (little Italy), thank you to the Bricco team who were the best.

This property is in a great location in the North End/ Little Italy. So convenient to walk for almost anything you would like to do in Boston. The space was very nice for our family of 4. Anything I requested they were quick to respond and very generous. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.

Definitely not a quiet area, but perfectly located! Suites are clean and spacious. Check-in is inside Bricco restaurant.

This property was a little noisy and from info I read and saw I expected a small seating area. It does have a desk and chair, a bench, small refrigerator and sink, which is nice. It’s a great location in the north end. It was very clean, the bed comfortable, pillows too flat for our liking but we had 4. Complimentary water everyday and room freshened if we wanted. Nice!

A great place to stay. It reminded me of the many places we stayed in Europe. Room was on the third floor in back of the restaurant.. Needed to navigate stairs. It might be difficult for an older person. Room was quiet and we felt safe. Loved the area. Lots of great places to eat!
3.0 / 5.0
A real disappointment. The good — room was very clean and well maintained; location was excellent and within an easy walk to historical sites and many restaurants. The less than good from the web site — daily maid service never happened; dedicated personal assistant non-existent; guaranteed reservation at any of the seven restaurants never happened (actually asked the host at the restaurant where we checked in and he said to go to the restaurant's web site or walk over and do it in person TOTALLY UNSAT); concierge staff non-existant (last person vaguely affiliated with the lodging was seen by accident as the restaurant hostess was leading us to our room and then never again); hotel telephone goes straight to VM (called about getting some coffee on the first morning (four days ago now) and never received a call back; tried again the second morning at 8:10 and got a call back at 9:30 telling me the nearest coffee shop (Dolce) was a block away — got this call while we were leaving the coffee shop across the street; hotel has no web site and online contact form reports server problems so no help there; three (of four) window shades do not work except by using hands to flip the slats. The web site and Expedia description paint a very different picture from what we encountered once there. If you don't mind a "do it yourself" lodging experience then this is your place but if you think you might need even a small amount of assistance then look elsewhere.

Check in at the restaurant hostess stand was unique. The staff at the restaurant were always friendly and accommodating. The rooms do not have elevators that lead to them, so stairclimbing ability is a must. The room we had (a two bedroom) was spacious and had a couch, tv and firplace living area, a dining table and 4 chairs in the kitchen area. The location of the property was convenient for walking in and around Boston.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bricco checked us in early and was able to allow us to leave our luggage in the room on our last day in Boston. We loved everything about this place. The location is perfect for anything Italian. The freedom trail is on the same street.
