First, let me say the property is pretty clean. However, the room is very small an laid out in a strange way, with tile floors, no carpet, and a lady smoking regularly about 5 feet from the motel. The room itself is what I would consider to be "one of the better hotels in North Korea". The office hours (8:30am opening) I had to call to get the clerk to come down before 9am as he suddenly remembered the "fall hours" start at 9am. The pool, though nice, was covered during the time it was supposed to be open. All in all, a decent place with staff that don't give a crap.

The room was comfortable and clean. Some other guests were pretty loud, and the overall layout of the property is fairly congested. Parking is tight.
The room fan was loud, but it acted as decent background noise blocking out the noise from outside.

Amazing find. They were very helpful, constantly saw them cleaning the area, always people available to help me. (they had a bike shed we were able to use). Just a great all around stay

It was a nice quiet spot close to the lake. The staff was terrific.

The motel is conveniently located just steps away from Skaha Beach, with a really tasty ice cream shop across the road. However, aside from that sweet spot, there are very limited dining options near the motel. The price is decent, but you definitely get what you pay for.
This seems to be an older, family-run establishment that is advertised as recently renovated. The updates, however, seem questionable, as the motel still feels worn out. The rooms on the main floor are quite small, and the walls are very thin, allowing you to hear conversations from adjacent rooms, outdoor noise, and traffic.
Check-in was challenging, as they had lost my reservation with Expedia. Fortunately, the staff at Expedia were able to resolve the issue, but it left me feeling uneasy. I was initially told there were no rooms available, but when Expedia rectified the missing reservation, a room suddenly became available, which seemed suspicious.
Additionally, the water pressure in the room was terrible, which was disappointing.
Overall, if you're simply looking for a roof over your head at a decent price and proximity to the beach, this might be the place for you.

We enjoyed our stay at Travelers Motel. We especially liked the BBQ and communal tables. Inside our room, there was a very large cobweb on the ceiling. The tables were not wiped down daily, nor the coffee mugs washed. New towels were put in, but the dirty old ones were thrown on top of our belongings and left behind. Some cleaning details that could be improved. The beds were quite hard, otherwise the A/C worked great and it was awesome having a big fridge and microwave in the room. Close proximity to Skaha beach and the pool was great!!

Enjoyed our stay. The motel was clean and spacious. The only challenge was the parking lot. It’s small and not easy to maneuver in. There is street parking, which was more convenient and easier to come and go from.
Will happily stay here again.

The adage you get what you pay for applies here. Decent parking, nice staff, but as basic a room as you can get. Thin towels, broken blinds, decent bedding but there's nothing that stands out.

Honestly I didn't have high expectations for this place. But I was pleasantly surprised. The room was tight but cute. The pool was clean and the staff were good. It was walking distance from the nicest beach! I will absolutely stay here again

Parking area to small . Is a little old small motel
Too expensive for what it offered compared with the others nearby. But the service from the personal is great 👍

The property was in an ideal location for a beach holiday, only a block away from the lake. The only downside was a lack of walk-to restaurants in the area. And the fact that many of the amenities chose to close both Sunday and Monday.
Although an older property, the motel was clean, convenient and very accommodating!

We showed up early after a long drive and they accomodated us checking in early, had the room spotless. Nice, renovated rooms. We stayed in the suite and it had everything we needed! Beautiful location, quick walk to the beach and on the main strip for quick access to stores and restaurants. Enjoyed the outdoor patios and pool!

We had a fantastic stay at the travelers motel. We stayed in a family suite which has been updated, the property is very well maintained and we loved the covered patio on the second level (spent alot of time out there). The original signage from the mid century and the paint colors of the building add to the charm of this hotel. We will be back!!

Great spot in Penticton. Friendly staff. The motel is a bit dated but they’ve made some renovations to the rooms and bathrooms. Pool is nice on a hot day. There’s a little green space with BBQ’s. Overall a good place to stay.

i reserved and got in late, they waited for me at the front desk. I didn't arrive until 11:30 pm.I was able to park my motorcycle right outside the office. that was nice, as I had a lot of stuff I didn't want to take into the room with me, like helmets and stuff. The room was more like a hotel than a motel. The maid must have spent a lot of time ensuring everything looked perfect. They also went online to find me a new motel, as I had only reserved for one night. Motel right next to the beach at the end of town..Perfecto!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. One evening I returned to the motel and the parking lot was full. I left to go park on the road and one of the staff called me back, moved his car from the staff parking area to let me park safely. Above and beyond my expectations

The location is on the main strip but at the south end so traffic is pretty quiet despite being on a main road. Short 5 minute walk to Skaha Lake.
Older motel but our double bed with kitchen unit (~400sf) is completely renovated with new fridge, stove with kitchen exhaust fan, all bathroom fixtures, flooring, double glazed windows, blinds, etc. Exterior has been refreshed with a funky colour scheme and shows good upkeep. Each room has electric baseboard heating.
Grounds has a small outdoor area with a few tables set up for al fresco dining along with a gas grill which was used by other guests while we stayed. Small pool available.
A few things to note. We are "shoes off" people so it was off-putting to have our socks/feet covered in black grime walking on the vinyl flooring. We ended up doing a pass with a wet towel. Don't think housekeeping cleans the floor outside of a cursory sweep. Lots of random crumbs and hair throughout.
Kitchen is stocked well with a melange of dollar store/Ikea/etc essentials, some of which would have been best replaced (eg: all of the non-stick cookware (small stockpot, 2 fry pans), plastic spatula) but it's there to use.
Bed comfort is adequate but the pillows are stiff, polyester filled and far too high to sleep on - bring your own pillows. Thin blanket.
Staff are friendly. One of the motel rules posted in the suite was that housekeeping comes daily - not sure if you can turn it down, but something to note.
Overall, a solid 3-3.5.
