When we checked In Rylee greeted us with a small and offered a wonderful experience

The wifi was out and we received two different stories from the front desk as to y, and they were unable to say when it would be fixed.
There was a large group that ate all of the breakfast, so there was no food available
There were some frozen biscuits, but the microwave in the breakfast room wasn't working. And we were told that it goes on the fritz, when a lot of people use it. And that it would take half an hour to reset itself. The pool bottom looked really funky so my daughter didn't want to use the pool. But the worst thing was, our room smelled very bad. The hotel complains to be non-smoking. But at some point, someone must have smoked in the rooms because it had a foul, beautiful stale stench, despite the carpet being recently upgraded. The bathrooms were nice modern, but yeah, the bulbs didn't match and the light flickered, with which had a creepy vibe. The next morning, this breakfast was very marginal.

Sheets had some stains on them and a couple of hairs. They didn't small and we were so tired, we just went to bed.

This hotel is older and a little run down for the price. Staff was great!

I really liked the property because it had a restaurant on site that had a good menu and the food was good. As well, the complimentary breakfast was adequate. Beds were too soft.

Clean but old. Pillows were hard and small. Staff was friendly and helpful

Got this room just for a shower as we were camping somewhere with no showers. The water came out brown from the shower, ran it for a bit and it finally ran clear. Didn’t sleep at the hotel but planned on coming back in the morning to shower prior to check out. The housekeeper started tearing apart the entire room before checkout time because she “assumed we were gone”. Took the shower curtain and our towels. In the middle of giving my daughter a shower the water goes to a trickle, after chasing down maintenance we find out there’s a pipe break and water will be out for at least half an hour. This was an hour before check out. The pool looked gross, the pool deck is a hazard it’s so slippery. After attempting to get a refund of at least $50, I was only offered $19.62 from the manager. I paid $151.00 for the night.
You’re better off spending your money at a different hotel. Don’t go here.

We stayed here one night.

The hotel is older. The room was renovated and the king bed was very comfortable and had 6 pillows. Bathroom was nicely renovated and nice hot shower with good pressure. But the hallways and stairs were not as nicely updated and gave it a sketchy feel. I would not stay here again. The whole town kinda had the same tired old vibe.

The stay was fine would stay here again but the bed was a king size and it was worn as if a 500 pound person had been sleeping in it for days (dipped real bad)...Other than the bed it was a great stay.

Exactly what I expect from a hotel of those price range. Great steakhouse inn the hotel. Limited continental breakfast. Will stay here again if I find myself back in Vernal.

The check in was fine. The hotel was another story. The room keys didn't work. Had to swipe and rattle the door a dozen times every time to get into the room. Multiple times had to request help from the front desk and get key cards rekeyed. Every Inch of the bathroom was dirty. There was a water leak in the bathroom. The floor in the room was dirty and looked unvacuumed. They overcharged me for my room and when I called to request a refund I was treated with annoyance, ignorance and was hung up on. I had to deal with a virtual agent online to eventually get the refund issues. Was one of the worst stays I've experienced at a hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable. However, the internet was so weak that it really did not function.

Room smelled terrible. Hotel could use some attention. A little rough around the edges.

The downside is that it seems to be falsely advertised as the closest hotel near Dinosaur National Monument, when in actuality it seems to be the farthest.

We ere very unhappy with this stay. The electricity went out about 6am on 6/15. We had to shower in the dark and there was no breakfast. I also fell in the hallway due to no emergency lights on the 2nd Floor. I report this incident to the front desk.

Overall, a great choice for staying in Vernal.

Rooms were clean and simple but entire facility was VERY dated. Breakfast was very lacking and unacceptable. We walked to the Maverik gas station and got better breakfast. Definitely NOT worth the ridiculous $200 per night charge.

Nice, quiet stay. Restaurant was top notch.

This place is probably the best hotel you can get in Vernal without breaking the budget (which honestly isn’t hard to do considering the terrible quality of most places around here) The staff were friendly, the room was quiet and clean, the pool and hot tub were nice and it was in a great location for what we wanted to see in the area. The building is a little older and so the facilities look that way, but overall you can tell the staff works hard to keep the place nice.

There is a lot of traffic/road noise. Ask to be on the backside of the hotel.

The Attendant on duty, went above her job, she changed our room, because of a loud guest, who left his TV ON,
with the volume on High, it was very loud, the attendant
heard it, and she offered to change our room.
We checked it on Thursday, May 30th, 2024.

Clean, comfortable, roomy. Could use a bit brighter lighting. Hot tub is a little small but has decent jets. Front desk employee actually asked me where I wanted my room - an infrequent question. He was great about offering me a room to fit my wants and needs. On-site restaurant is convenient.

Property staff were wonderful. Room and beds were good. Plenty of green space to walk doggy 😊. Would stay here again.

It was a nice place to stay. The only two things I have to complain about is there was no parking, because of the lounge and restaurant. They should make a parking area for hotel guests only. Also the house keeping service was a no show the 3 days we were there. Otherwise everything else was great.

The room was real comfortable and clean. Only complaint we would have is there continental breakfast wasn’t up to par with a lot of the other places we stayed. Next time we probably will not stay here again.

Service at the front desk was great. The person checking us in was efficient and kind. Pet fee for one night was $20.
Our room was kind of gross though. The coffee table was stuck to the carpet, there was an old water bottle under the bed with who knows what in it, and a soggy spot right in the middle of our floor. Hotel couldn’t help how loud all the loud stayers. However, the road next to our room was really loud… all night long. Thankful we only had to stay there one night.

My only complaint is the restaurant food was terrible. The salmon was not fresh and not cooked well, the chicken tenders were way too big and greasy, the desert, which was supposed to be a lava cake was cold and hard. We were very disappointed

The girl who checked us in was very friendly. I was surprised when she asked me to write my credit card information on a piece of paper. I haven't had to do that in YEARS, plus I already pre-paid online and that information should be there. Now I have major anxiety knowing my card information is out there completely vulnerable on nothing but a piece of paper. The room was mostly clean except for several hairs in the sink so clearly it had not been wiped out from the previous guest. The bathroom door would stick and not close all the way unless you really slammed it hard. No cover on the room door peep hole so we had to stuff it with toilet paper. Hallway was dimly lit - super creepy. We come to Vernal often so we'll find a different place next time.
