It was confidently located to the rodeo arena. Good restaurants and shopping
The pillows in the room could be a little harder.

Nothing.
The room was dirty as hell. Bad smell(smoke), pee on the toilet, sheets and towels dirty, micro wave with mold inside.. we have left after 20 minutes. The hotel refused a refund.

very comfy bed and nice set up
The sink faucets were covered in dried up soapy water leftover from the previous occupant and the toilet bowl hadn’t been cleaned for at least a week. With obvious gross lack of cleanliness that was clearly evident, I wondered about the cleanliness of the rest of the room that wasn’t as easy to see if it was clean or not. I like to support small family older motels but at least make it clean and not disgusting.

good location
The staff tried very hard to take care of problems.
The first assigned room was very smelly. The bed linens were not clean.

Comfy bed.
I needed help with the TV because the remote didn't work. Someone else's Burger King fries had been left in the microwave. Lamps by bed not plugged in. Rug dirty when I hunted for outlets. Breakfast all carbs.

Great for what we needed. Good location for where we needed to be the next morning. Good free breakfast
The door blocked no sound at all. You could hear everything outside, especially the cars on the highway.

Location close to Dinosaur National Monument
It was dirty, and in a state of disrepair. things were broken and didn’t work. There were electrical code violations. the manager was rude and unhelpful. Breakfast was stale bread and a toaster.

The room had all I needed for an overnight stay—a comfy bed, good shower, fine air-conditioning, and a coffee pot.
The breakfast was enough to get me on the road, but that’s about it. This is a very old motel with few amenities.

The breakfast room had no coffee, and I was there early.
Dirty, falling apart. Walls were patched all over, needed paint.

Comfy, clean, manager was very accommodating.
The TV in the room I stayed in is glitchy. I had a very hard time using the guide and it kept moving around on its own. There was also a loud pounding sound that would come and go from the TV.

The price was right and the water was hot.
Breakfast wasn't good, the hair dryer was broken, the room was so small you couldn't get from one end to the other, and someone was constantly smoking cigarettes 7 feet away from the door.

Beds were comfy! Great location! great price!
The sink faucet didnt work properly. The room had an off smell, it fidnt smell good but it didnt smell bad. The motion light to the bathroom was annoying.

The staff was very friendly. As overlanders, we need to resupply and and the location was perfect. The room is simple but clean and perfect and to have the much needed rest. So much to explore in the area too!
The lady who attended to us was so friendly! Not to mention her cute little kids.
I would definitely recommend Split Mountain to my fellow overlanders.
Nothing to dislike in Vernal.

The rooms are very nice! The staff friendly and the breakfast had a lot to eat. I see some complain about nearby traffic noise but when I was there after 8. It really calmed down. I slept like a baby. I was visiting Dionsaur National monument and it’s very close.
Not a thing

Easily located on main road on the far east side. The check-in service was prompt and friendly; mattress was firm and comfortable. Clean room made me feel comfortable. It was cool enough for me to just use the fan for the room. Guests were quiet. The breakfast was decent and what a delight, fresh milk for cereal and coffee tea. Most appreciated.
You can't take the main road away but once in the room and the fan or A/C was on, the traffic noise was more subdued. The room needed a bit of fixing - carpet coming off the wall needed mastic one of the table chairs has a back that was unstable (room 109). There is no freezer compartment in the fridge no big deal unless you depend on one for your cooler freezer packs.

Beds were comfy, showers were nice and hot with great water pressure. A good budget hotel for a quick budget overnight stop. Dog friendly. The gal in the front office was very nice. My air condition went out late at night and I called the office thinking it was a long shot to get help but they sent the maintenance guy right away. I very much appreciated that.
They need a new Gardner!!! He was beyond rude/dangerous behavior.
I would also say a few more seats on the lawn would be nice. Not enough pillows on the beds. 2 people to a bed and only 3 flat pillows.

Breakfast was perfect and location was very nice.
Tv was making some extra noise.
