A great spot with stunning views across the bay towards Exmouth, also privileged to see beautiful sunrises in our seaview room.
The room was clean and comfortable and our host was available if needed but not intrusive. Breakfast was more than adequate in quantity and the quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent. I can't fault it at all, we had a three night stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B.

Wonderful stay at headland view, would highly recommend staying here if in the Torquay area. Lovely views across the sea from our rooms and the breakfast area in the morning. Nothing was ever a bother from the management of the hotel. Thanks again.

This small hotel (just six rooms) is a friendly place. We have stayed here on a number of occasions and always received a very warm welcome.
Rooms are always clean. They are quite small but provide everything required. Note that all rooms are up stairs and there is no lift.
Beakfast is adequate.
There is a space at front to unload luggage and on street parking not far away.

David was a lovely host the sea view was lovely close to the local shops buses very good

Fantastic position, very clean, excellent breakfast with good choices, lots of attention to detail like extra milk and cold water in fridge whenever needed. Close to lot of restaurants and bars. Good local bus service close by. Plenty of parking in adjoining streets or in car park directly behind hotel (£9 for 24hrs). Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, however, on arrival we were told there was no Breakfast ( maybe should have let us know before we booked) also no on site parking, and we were told that when we require fresh towels leave the used ones in the shower compartment, we did this but towels were not changed which was disappointing!
Would we stay again ? Sadly not

Lovely B&B on the seafront . Very nice welcome and a nice room with plenty of tea and coffee. Only problem we had was a very low pressure shower but apart from that really enjoyed are stay.

Just returned back from our short break at the Headland View B&B. It is easy to find and was very clean and tidy. Our host David was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was any trouble for him and our stay was comfortable throughout.
If parking is an issue, try to arrange this at time of booking, but you'll find parking on a nearby street.
Every morning started with a delicious breakfast. This B&B is in a lovely quiet location in its own right but has great public transport links to surrounding towns. Using the open top bus (122 service) outside the B&B gave us access to the steam railway, Dartmouth river cruise and ferry services at Torquay.
We had booked a short break in Cornwall, which was cancelled due to double-booking. So glad we ended up here at this well-run B&B and meeting David. Would love to return soon.

Owner run and operated B&B, meaning very high standards and all access requests to anything during accommodation. If you are able to meet the required conditions for staying at this guest house, then you’ll probably have the best stay of your lifetime, like I did. Free, on-site parking is very limited; available if you book early. On street parking is also tight. However, there are paid car parks within 1 to 10 minutes walking distance, dotted around the area near the hotel. Another thing to be aware of is the check-in time. It’s a very short 3 hour window, however, advanced, alternative arrangements can be made, and the owner/management is very accommodating. Building is converted from the 1800’s to modern standards, which means it’s very charming, and quirky; my bathroom sink was next to my bed, and was surprisingly functional. A lot of attention to details in the room decor and everything flowed. I loved the wicker basket with towels. The wallpaper matched the wall painting and even the drink mat. The tea station was well laid out with extra touches. Communal items too. The rooms themselves are cosy with a lot of character and looked after with utmost care. The overall feeling is as if you’re visiting relatives or an elder brother who will go all out to look after you, and nothing is ever too much; all you need do is ask. Very central location. Visited for leisure with my husband. No regrets. Will recommend and definitely stay here again, if ever I return to Babbacombe.

Location is perfect. Balcony room with lovely view. However the bathroom is across the hall and next door to another guests room. We didn’t find this ideal when needing bathroom during the night or indeed walking across the landing from showering. Would definitely book again but with en-suite

We stayed at this lovely clean bed and breakfast for a few days. We were there because of sad circumstances and found the owners very understanding and attentive without being over bearing.
Our room was cosy and very clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the bay. Everything was in easy reach for us - places to eat and drink. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day.
Many thanks to David & David and we hope to return next year.
Kindest regards,
Dave & Louise
