Pillows were a bit large, would bring my own that wasn't so thick next time. Otherwise the stay was good.

Dining room could have been cleaner. Breakfast was good. Room was big, we were able to fit the pack n’ play for the baby. Staff was very friendly.

It really decent for the price.
Put an end on each side of the bed.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the history of the place was interesting. Cleanliness was fine—I didn’t notice anything troubling. The shower temperature was a little tough to regulate, but the main issue I had was with noise. My room faced the main historic street, and the hotel blasts Sinatra tunes over the street until 10 PM, which was annoying. Also, rowdy people on the street until early morning were annoying. Not much the hotel can do about the rowdies, but just beware of this when you’re going into it. Bring earplugs.

Great experience in legendary Deadwood Hotel. Check in staff were great

Great historic location. Authenticity was augmented by lots of flies and wasps in the room. Kill them all one day and there was more the next. Just like 1876.

Upgraded to a suite which was amazing. The hotel is right on main street with free parking in back of the hotel. The room was roomy and beautiful. The hotel itself is beautiful. We did the ghost tour and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We would definitely stay again.

Great hotel, location even better (right on Main St). Every employee we came into contact with were so nice and willing to tell us the history of the hotel! The tour they offer on the weekends is also well worth it!

Right in the middle of action in Deadwood. If you are an early sleeper, would not work for you since the Casino has music playing until 10PM. But it did not bother us at all.

Best historic hotel since we stayed in St.. Michael Hotel in Prescott, AZ. The employees at The Historic Bullock Hotel are profession and friendly. It's obvious they love their job. Everything about the hotel, our room, the restaurant & bar is A1.

We had the Roosevelt suite and being that it is a historical building it was set as it would have been back in the day. We enjoyed it very much!

This was right on the main street and was therefore very convenient for the shops and restaurants. It does however have an intrusive slot machine culture (as do most of the hotels) which doesn't quite fit in with the authenticity of the hotel. It trades on the fact that it is 'historic' and 'haunted' but doesn't quite hit the mark. The parking was across the street at the back which was convenient but the room was very small and gloomy and the offerings in the 'restaurant' were very limited. We enjoyed our stay but not sure whether it was value for money

Very cool historic place to stay. Rooms are very dark though. Would suggest using higher wattage lightbulbs.

There was a safe, we wanted to use it but it was locked. We asked the front desk attendant for help & they knew nothing about it. The lamps, ALL of them were in poor condition. The light bulbs were flopped over & the socket was loose. Fire hazard? The room was beautiful but the drawers need some attention.

Loved my room. beautiful hotel. Really nice bartender guy. Kind of crabby night ladies.

This property is downtown Deadwood. Your paying for the location not the amenities. The building is old and needs some renovations, but what doesn't in downtown Deadwood? Its clean the beds were comfortable and the employees/staff are great! I would stay again.

The room we had was large with a sink in both the bathroom and the living area. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was good. There was some smoke smell from the casino or outside that was a bummer. Staff was really nice, friendly, and helpful.

An email request to the hotel for a receipt of our full advance payment was not replied to. Subsequently, due to illness, we could not travel to the USA. Expedia were advised. They said in the circumstances they would see if they could negotiate a refund. We did not hear from the hotel or further from Expedia.

The hotel was amazing! The customer service at check-in was great, especially with the amount of rooms that we had. Our only issue was that they were not set up for handling food service. When we went for breakfast, at first we were treated as though we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. We did not mind waiting for food as we were a large group (13). But instead of starting with that (we were told that eventually) we were met with mumbles of complaints. The person seemed overwhelmed and someone did come to help them. Other people came in and left due to the remarks. I will say that the food was great and the coffee was good. We did have to refill it ourselves as well as other customers. I would say stay at this hotel! It is amazing! Go to get breakfast somewhere else if you don't like confrontation and don't like to wait. Otherwise, the food is great!

Everything was amazing. Breakfast-we seemed to be an inconvenience as they are not set up but for a few customers at a time. Breakfast was really goo though...just not the comments that came with it.

It was great to stay right on Main St in Deadwood. It is a historic hotel so rooms are not fancy, they are neat and clean with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and there was good hotel parking across the street. We would stay there again.
