I stayed in the loft penthouse and this place was immaculate , beautiful, and huge. Great staff and awesome price for such a unique place. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Would highly recommend .

The room was well appointed and comfortable. Everything was very clean, and the bed look amazing with the lights behind and under it. The fans made it very comfortable, and the shower had good pressure and felt great. We had a wonderful night following a wonderful day touring around Antwerp and eating delicious food.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maison Nationale. So much so that we extended it by two days. Amazing suites in an ideal location walking distance to Grote Market and the Meir shopping street. Hosts Tom and Karen were very helpful and friendly throughout the entire stay.

Room was lovely, hosts were very kind.
Please note that this is a bit more of a guesthouse than a full hotel, and that there is only someone at the desk at certain hours. I arrived late, and had not received the welcome email with the code to get in, so there was a few minutes of concern, which was resolved once I was able to talk to the hosts. Overall a great place!

Wonderful space , elegantly decorated. Very central to Antwerp’s major attractions. The owners are very attentive and offer a warm welcome.

Wonderful apartment, walking distance from old centre of Antwerp. Apartment spacious, well equipped and thoughtfully equipped. Lift to higher floors so no need to use the rather steep stairs. Overall service and done with a smile. Also next to a supermarket and tram stop - everything you need. Excellent experience.

Wonderful hotel. Decor was superb, location was perfect. Breakfast in the nearby cafe was excellent. Such a cool cafe/shop. Karen was amazing and was able to sort out a couple of things in minutes. Thanks for being so helpful Karen. We will be back! Thanks again.

What a wonderful experience this was! The room was stunning, the bed very comfortable and the shower divine!
There is a convenient little grocery store right across the street to stock up on breakfast and the hotel is located within walking distance to everything. Antwerp is a beautiful and very exciting city, I cannot think of a better place to stay. Make sure to check your email before coming so that you receive the code to enter the building.

Spotless. Great personal service from owner and staff. Very beautiful, very comfortable, best shower ever.

Beyond lovely rooms and hotel. Surprisingly quiet as well given you are in a busy street. Would recommend to anyone.

The flats at Maison Nationale are spacious, clean, modernly equipped units in a great location for taking in the charms of Antwerp. Tom greeted us warmly and helped make our stay great (incl with respect to laundry). He and his team made our brief stay in Antwerp lovely.

A perfectly located hotel for exploring Antwerp. The hotel is small, but the rooms are large, comfortable and uniquely designed. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and I definitely would come back. A parking garage is conveniently located less than a block away.

Madison Nationale was wonderful! Karen and her staff couldn’t have been more helpful in their suggestions or answering my questions. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. Would recommend Theo just down the road for a latte and breakfast. Also, Dancing Chocolate for dinner which isn’t too far away!

Tom was an excellent host and the lodgings were lovely. A nice walk from all the activities making the area quiet and peaceful.

I read the previous reviews and they all were super positive, so I wanted to give my honest review on some things other travelers might also make a note on.Cons:-The floorboards were surprisingly plaster-thin and we could hear and track every footstep of the above penthouse guests. We did not realize how noisy it was until the constant walking around from 12 am, that woke us up. This did not stop for an hour or so. During peak seasons, I could imagine how noisy this must be!-The one power socket, wedged between the elavated floor lighing and the wall on each side of the bed. For guests using a international plug converter, this is a careful tetris. Also the fact there is zero light in the bedroom besides the side lamp..? The side lamp gets disconnected if you use a converter. So in the evening, if you wanted to read or anything, it was very unhealthy for the eyes. -Only ambient and natural light focused. If you're visiting in the darker months, this place could feel slightly miserable because of how little light there is... Just a food for thought. Pros:-The bathtub was the biggest highlight. Spacious, deep enought to accomodate two people. Love the design of how the water filled up and drained. Excellent.-Great bathroom space, albiet odd design but feels modern. -Fantastic location, you can walk to most places from the hotel and feels very central. -Decent value for money.-Remote check-in and out. Feels very covid appropriate but also hassle free.

I will definitely be returning here. Tom and Karen were excellent and the space was to die for. Great location and beautifully decorated. There is a supermarket right across the street and shopping right next door. I felt comfortable, safe, and right at home.

Lovely couple who run the organisation, they were friendly and helpful when I called. They sent a very helpful pre trip email which I was grateful for. The room was amazing and very comfortable, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Antwerp on my next trip.

This hotel was incredible. The only thing that was annoying was that the shower flooded the bathroom. Other than that it was a lovely hotel, friendly staff and great area for excellent food and coffee :)

It is a beautiful room. We loved the location, but we were there at the end of July. The room was too warm, and if we opened the windows, it was too noisy. Otherwise we loved it!
