Very dowdy.

My 1st 1 night a week ago and my 2nd 2 nights, just the other day wouldn't be complete without the helpful and friendly staffs, Patrica and Sarda. Thank you so much.

Good downtown location close to supermarket, tim hortons, laubdromat, and restaurants. Although we didnt eat, the $10 breakfast looked like a good deal.

This hotel has potential but is not quite there yet. There are many things you could do to make this a nicer place. Clean up the check in area. It seems messy and disorganized. Our room was clean but the bathroom door did not close. There was no hair dryer. My husband took a shower and the towel he took off of the rack had a brown stain in the middle, most likely an old stain but whoever folds the towels after washing should have seen it and thrown it out. There was only one coffee pod provided with the coffee maker. When you are renting out a room for two, at least provide them each with a coffee! Loose tea bags are not a good idea. They absorb moisture and smells from the room. The building it is in as well as the immediate neighbourhood is not very nice. On the pro side, the two staff members that I dealt with were very friendly and the breakfast (for a fee) was very good!

The room was clean. Bed was super comfortable. Mainly had issues with an old equipment. The coffee maker seemed to be from the 1970's and I often had to do repeated attempts to get it to start. Could not get my tv to consistently turn on. Electric plugs needed updating. I had to ask for a power cord. Sound of slamming doors in the hall would wake me up. On the upside the staff were very sweet and helpful. Plus the location was fantastic. I had a gr8 time, but if the hotel works on these few issues it will be a better experience for guests.

Homeless community living right behind the property. They’re in and out of the parking lot consistently, they’re very rowdy and unkind and give the place an unsettling feeling. When confronting the owners it seems they know about them living here and told us that the homeless are “not supposed to bother customers”. Overall not a great experience.
3.4
Dirty, sketchy area
Nice desk staff check in and check out
3.4
Staff is very helpful and patient with tired travelers. It was cold when we arrived and our room was cold, so they provided a space heater we could use.
3.4
the hotel was as in the photos and description. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The city of Whitehorse is completely accessible by walk (restaurant, cinema, river, ..)
3.4
good location and price

This would be good for people driving through needing a bed for the night. Not good if you are staying a few days. Expedia rates this a 3 star but it is not! Two at the most. You can hear everyone showering or flushing the toilet. Doors slam.
Micro wave didn’t work. No AC. I won’t stay here again.
3.4
It's a decent place for a layover in Whitehorse
3.4
Slightly sketchy area, but not bad. Short walk to downtown.
3.4
Residence hotel, paper thin walls, flying bugs in the room.

Stayed one night. Room very comfortable and clean. Staff were incredible friendly and helpful. Would stay here sgain
3.4
It was OK.
3.4
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lavatory and bathtub faucets were leaking a steady stream.
3.4
Amazing and helpful staff however hotel is very dated. Average clean for condition and age of building. Amount of signage and rules leaves very uneasy feeling for safety. Suggest toning that down. Not there to read rules there to enjoy my stay. Experience traveller including northern areas.

New owners were very nice. Checkin was smooth and easy. They accommodated our little dog and even gave our son a free large bag of chips upon checkin
3.4
Reasonable price. Average rooms.
3.4
Check in was invasive. photocopies taken of our personal ID and a $200 damage fee was charged to be refunded at check out. A list of 30 rules of conduct was posted and a list of room contents with prices for missing items in the room. No AC which is dangerous for some seniors. laundromat chugging away next door and the entire place smells like an old deep fry food truck. there is no welcome or comfort here but it was the last room available in the city.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The bed cover sheet kept coming off as it was to small the blankets we worn worse then 20 year old jeans. The plug outlet was so old my plug would not stay in it. The fridge was held together with duck tape. I booked because it said newly renovated. Nothing was done inside the room in 20 years. The air conditioner was so loud I had to yell to my friend to hear me. The only hotel I have been to that was worse is Andreas in Watson lake.
I have stayed at thousands of hotel rooms

We have never been to a hotel that posted a 30 item rule list in the elevator.
3.4
Food smeared on walls and dirty sink. Bed was very wrinkled and appeared to be not washed from previous guest. Got our money back and left.
3.4
Rundown hotel in area of drug addicts. Curtain not blackout white nite. No Electric outlet next beds. Shower is hot and strong.
3.4
Rooms and hotel in general need updating, care. The shower head was spraying into the ceiling, then the floor. Electrical outlets need replacing because they would not hold the plugs in place. Employees were helpful. Located about 15 to 20 minute walk from Main Street. No air conditioning - room was too hot.
3.4
On a long road trip from Alaska to Delaware. Needed a place to sleep. The rooms need more outlets.
3.4
Very friendly, good service

the front desk is rude

This hotel was not worth the money. It should have priced at a “motel” rate for the quality and cleanliness. The room was small and cramped. The table that was in the room was not usable because it did not fit the space. Check in was awkward do to language barriers with the front desk staff/property manager. I was traveling with my dog and the 30$ pet cleaning fee was stressed at check in because the cleaning staff has to work harder to clean the room which is common in pet friendly hotels but when we got to the room my husband pulled back the sheets and found lots of hair from a previous pet guest. We had been driving for over ten hours and just needed to sleep so we slept on top of the bedding. The towels in the bathroom were very yellowed also. I am not one to vent negative information but I cannot think of a redeeming thing about this hotel giving the price point. Luckily, we were only staying for a night and continuing on our journey early the next day.

A picture says a1000 words. Wish I could leave a picture. Yellowed sheets. Blood stains on sheet.

This was an exceptionally clean, pet friendly, renovated hotel in the middle of downtown Whitehorse. Although I was not traveling with pets, I did not see or smell evidence of prior furry residents.
The proprietor was very helpful and friendly. Whitehorse is a city in transition and maintaining a nice property here is definitely a challenge. The current owners are doing a good job.
3.4
Nice and quite, just need lil better service with the night shift worker
3.4
The sheets had stains, the towels all had stains, the fridge made noise, the pipes were very loud.
3.4
Very good staff... Very clean... Comfortable beds...

Clean room
3.4
This was close to everything. The staff was very nice. This was not a 3 star or 3.8 star rated hotel. The room was 27C with the heat off. Even with the fan supplied and window open it would not cool down even though it was -6C outside.
3.4
Clean quiet and reasonably priced

This property fit our needs on our trip through Whitehorse, Yukon and back again. It is a no frills hotel with what appears to be a very nice laundry room. (didn't use it). The breakfast while extra was very good, as was the service. The locations appears to be a run-down area but we felt safe enough walked around the corner to the restaurant..
3.4
Basic but good accommodation in Whitehorse. Good value for money.
