Excellent location
Room very comfortable!

checkin was slow however the gentleman that checked us in was very nice.
Coffee in the morning should be labeled for what is hot water, decaf or regular and what type of milk. Not very helpful when coming down 2nd morning at 6:40 when milk was no longer, either. It would be helpful if they would give a little more if it's still within the time frame for coffee 5 am to 7am.

The hotel was nicely located. Not sure was worth the price. The space was sufficient and the bed was comfortable. The shower was open to the room with a large glass window between it and the bed which was awkward as I was traveling with a friend.

The hotel was fine. Nothing great, nothing awful. Strangely, there was no dresser. There was no where to put our things. There was a corner of the room that was oddly empty. It made me wonder if there was supppsed to be a dresser there.

Great location, if there is coffee machine in the room that will be the best!

Perfect stay In NY.
The room and the view was amazing

Shower was not working correctly but they fixed it. Bed was ok. I would have preferred a shower instead of the bath/shower.

Amazing stay, the king superior bed was extactly how it’s advertised; SUPERIOR! Amazing staff and they are always looking to lend a helping hand with luggage. Everything they do is intentional and done with compassion! I appreciate the love and the open arms for our stay! Can’t wait to be back again!

BEWARE:::There is a roof top club next to hotel's south side with thumping music till 3 AM request a room on north side but not to high up as they have their own roof top club with very loud music which can be heard in guest room on the top few floors.
Several of the Staff were very accommodating while othrr couldnt be bothered
Very expensive for the services provided. No direct access to the HighLine that it is named for.

Amazing stay with top view on the river and downtown, ideal conditions to work and chill around in Meatpacking.
Staff is a bit special, but that's part of the concept maybe...

Phenomenal help at the front desk. We weren't sure where we were going to stay and they helped us get a great last minute rate for a few days. Wonderful room and terrific atmoshphere. Everything felt like a surreal movie, it really emphasizes the artistic and creative nature of the High Line/Cheslea area. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

Great time at the Standard!

Website stated the restaurants were open until 1am and 2am on Saturday. We went out of our way to get to the hotel by 11pm to east and were told all kitchens were closed by restaurant staff. The hotel staff had no idea. Nothing else to eat around that area. We were told to order room service and that was terrible.

There is a reason I keep returning to the Standard highline over and over and over again… The staff is incredible and kind and accommodating. That’s the most important part of this experience for me.
The Standard takes extremely good care of me every time I show up I really feel like part of the family.
Not many hotels that remember you remember what you like and are always one step ahead of you when it comes to service and accommodation
It really is my home away from home

Staff members are not interested in giving the guests an amazing not even fair stay. It seemed its a problem for them to take care of the guests.

Great Hudson River views, excellent location, smallish rooms

I’ve stayed at the standard many times over over the years and it still does manager to be a convenient spot to post myself in Manhattan when I need to be on the west side. In town for a couple of NYFW events these past few days, I stayed at the standard because it’s exactly where I need it to be, isn’t overly expensive (although prices were very inflated due to how busy the city is for the week) and still gets a vibe-y crowd.
My stay was pretty straightforward, neither remarkable nor awful, however on my first evening at the hotel while getting ready to attend an event and party, I attempted to use the hair dryer only to find that it wasn’t turning on. I reset the dryer, then the socket, which didn’t help. I called down to guest services to ask them to send up a new dryer assuming it had been burnt out. It took quite a while for someone to come up and in the interim I began running low on time before I needed to leave. The staff member who came up took a look at the dryer and then informed me that it was actually the socket which wasn’t working, not the dryer and it remained that way for the rest of my stay.
Needless to say it’s a first world problem under most circumstances, however during fashion week while appearing and being photographed at events, having my hair look a mess because the electrical socket in my hotel room is not working and prevented me from doing my hair was definitely not great.

All the staff is amazing , Shea ( Shay ) I lost the spelling, is the absolute best. I stay at The Standard at least once a month for the past year. The room is always excellent, the rooftop and restaurants are amazing.

Great stay, will be back. Walkable, on Highline, stayed in corner room.

Really nice hotel, very quiet and clean area. I would definitely recommend!

Good hotel. Well placed in NYC vibrant meat packing area. A lot of options but way overpriced for what it is.

No parking, not even nearby, and no valet. Had to schlepp luggage for two blocks- thankful no rain. Hard to find the entrance- upside down sign? Keys did not work- but a housekeeper helped us a lot- moved us into another room quickly and saved us limited time. Bed was awful- a sponge and way too low. Shower had zero privacy. Toilet size was a joke. Would not stay again, nor recommend.

Hotel Staff was incredibly nice and helpful!
The restaurant staff are not welcoming and our group ended up just leaving. This is consistent with our stays at the hotel where we have not once dined at the restaurant and last time getting drinks on the patio was a painful experience.

The hotel is very cool, dinning options are several and good. The room (corner room) had a good size but the shower was open and really inconvenient. Every time we had a shower the bathroom got all wet and the floor flooded. I would suggest other room options.

The air conditioning was on full blast and could not be adjusted. Room was barely 65 degrees. Very uncomfortable.

Great location, however, with the onsite nightclub, do not expect it to be quiet.

Great location next to the High Line, perfect as a base to explore all of Manhatten.

Great location by the High Line. Brilliant views of the Hudson and restaurants and bars very close by. Upgraded for a better room view, for free.
Room had a very big bath and power shower. Very comfortable room.
Warning for those suffering vertigo.

Sadly the property has gone downhill a lot vs. 10ish years ago. Rooms are dated, smell bad (cigarette smoke masked by air fresheners) and you can hear music all night long.

It was a really nice experience to stay in this hotel.

All around great experience

Excellent friendly attentive welcome and swift and helpful check out.

This hotel is just okay. The level of service was a bit lacking. The final straw for me was in the middle of the night there was a false fire alarm. Management’s response was lackadaisical and chaotic.

Just be mindful of the club above 1623. It was okay for me, the thumpthump. And to be fair, the front desk lmk it was gonna be that way. But the room & view were worth it. A great hotel. 10/10 recco.

Great Roof top lounge.
Stay away from upper floor rooms due music at disco

The bathroom door squeaked loudly and we reported it but it still squeaked. Fire false alarm was a pain. When we arrived there was no place to unload our bags.
