This was one of the worst experiences ever. Next door did not stop making noise all night ! Terrible experience I could not sleep at all.

Clean hotel. Some rooms have a small kitchen to cook others do not. I had a connecting room and I heard the entire conversation in the next room. So next time I will request a non connecting room. The AC is in the bedroom and hopefully the air travels to the living room. They need to place a fan near the bathroom so that the cool air travels to the living room. The beach is across the street which is perfect.

I enjoyed the stay at this location. It was very spacious and clean. Perfect location for walking to restaurants or shops in town and even the beach! The only complain would be the bed was not comfortable but besides this issue everything was fine!

When we first entered the room there was a bathing suit bottom and a necklace on the floor already so I don’t think they clean well.

Spacious and clean. Great for the price though you can hear everything in adjoining units, the connecting doors are very thin and have no sound proofing. Great location and check in and check out was a breeze.

This is our second time staying at Montauk Oceanside Suites and we enjoyed both times. It is very close to the beach and a short walk to dining options. We only used of car once(to dine on the bay side) over three days. We would defiantly stay there again.

We had been staying here for years when it was the born free. I’m assuming it’s under new management (hence the name change) because it immediately became a dump. We booked a suite with a kitchen. There was no kitchen at all. Just a fridge and a microwave. They were not accommodating at all after that. While there were plenty of other rooms available, they would not move us. We were told we would at least receive a partial refund, however that has still not happened. Management has been impossible to reach. Not happy and definitely switching where we stay moving forward

We checked in after 4 so no staff on duty to assist when toilet didn’t work and bedroom blinds would not work so no privacy. Tried calling, texting, and emailing property management to help but no response. Had to get another room at the Montauk Manor which was beautiful and staff were helpful and got us a room right away when there heard we were in a jam. So paid for a room we could not use at the Montauk Oceanside suites.

The room was a little dated. But it served our purpose. The bedroom was a nice size and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size also and very clean. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of parking. They also have a Bbq grill and a picnic table. Look forward to going back. Plus it’s across from the Ocean and a close walk to the town.

I am giving three stars, but it is actually two and a half. The check-in is remote. We have received the text that the room is ready and headed to the hotel. When we arrived we found the room not cleaned after the last stay: full trash, bed sheets unchanged, dirty towels in the bathroom. We found cleaning lady on the property who kept on saying that check-in is at 3pm. There is no management on the property most of the day. The room was fine overall. Some furniture needs maintenance: there was a lot of stains on the couch and the mattress springs were worn. TV in the bedroom is unwatchable and needs replacement. There is a fridge and stove in the unit. The was a heat in the room and it was working well.

The apartment was as pictured and basically OK ***BUT*** (1) our reservation confirmation said the office would be open for check in from 9-5 and they provided a number to call too. The office was not open when we arrived at 3pm and noone answered the phone or returned our messages. If the cleaning lady wasn't there to help us, we would never have gotten in! (2) The "kitchen" is a frig, microwave, and some plates. No sink, no pots. we had to wash dishes in the bathroom. (3) the main bed was lumpy and the sofa bed was terrible. So, the location is good but otherwise we did not have the stay we were hoping for.
