It’s small lil cottage house just for yourself we liked the area and the price wasn’t bad overall the house in general was nice although it could use a bit of touch ups like dirty windows and maybe some new bed sheets/covers .also it would’ve been nice to use the canoes but they were very dirty and filled with leaves and spiderweb's the bomb fire was nice and relaxing we toasted marshmallows the kids enjoyed it for sure

Nice place. It was clean and quiet. Beach area clean but small.

Rooms were clean, staff friendly - but rooms were incredibly small, cramped by the bed with little room to move. They are packing people into the motel style rooms, with promise of beach, which was small and water un-swimmable by August (algae and duck poop). Stay did not reflect the images on the site.
Advertised as a 'Resort' but it clearly is not. Disappointed - we wanted a little space to relax at the Dells, but this was not it. Understaffed. Note in room said we needed to take our own trash to dumpster - (?) which we did, but is this a hotel? Or a place where I do my own housekeeping. Weird.

The view from the upper balcony suite was great! Staff were very friendly.
Parking availability was challenging at times. Room was older but with updates in progress. Pictures online gave a different impression of what the room would look like. Had to ask for a hair dryer and ironing board as other places include. Other rooms were quite loud and drinking outside until 2 am. Lighting in the room gave a cold and uninviting vibe. Could use a lamp or two.

The room was very nice, not a lot of parking spots and people were in the pool and being noisy past 10pm

Ended up in a unit that had not been remodeled. Was dirty with no soap, shampoo, hair dryer as advertised. You have to take out your own garbage and no house keeping for your stay. For paying a couple hundred a night i expected a better room. Balcony a mess with bugs everywhere and found a piece of cheese in the wrapper in between the stove and counter. I am very disappointed about this property and dont usually leave reviews but took my mom there for her birthday and it was very drab and run down. The positive was the beds were decent and comfortable. Besides that i would think twice about spending your money there unless your guaranteed to get a remodeled room. Was looking forward to this resort but it was a big let down. I have been going to the dells since i was a kid but this was by far my worst experience.

Love how the resort is in a quiet area. the owners are working on updates throughout the grounds to make your experience even better. The kitchenette, only had 1 pot and some silverware, so make sure you bring everything you need to eat and cook. The staff was friendly and helpful. They called the day of our check-in to let us know they had limited office hours and if we were going to be outside those hours, to let them know and they would have someone there to check us in. Our room was clean. Would stay again.

Honestly hard to find a place that feels like home that isn’t owned by a big corporation with a big company logo behind it. This place felt like home and was honestly surrounding by great and welcoming staff and people everywhere. Will be back and highley recommend. We also brought our puppies and had no issues at all.

The rooms looked amazing on the website, but getting there and seeing the reality was disappointing. Just looked like a much bigger space. My boyfriend is 6’2” and couldn’t feel comfortable anywhere in our room. It was an okay stay.

This property sits on a beautify lake. That is about it. The beach area is small but pretty. However, the hotel and area around it is super run down. This could be a gem of a place. The towels are so gross and old. Disgusting. We went and bought our own to shower with. The bathroom is gross and needs everything new and updated. The walls are peeling. Some of the updates in the room are fine. The pool area is from the 70s. The house that sits in the middle of the resort area looks awful and needs pushed over. I feel bad saying all of this but it is just in need of a lot. It is a perfect spot but needs some investment and love put into it.

We were coming through the Dells on our trip. We booked the Delton Oaks Resort because they had a room that fit all 7 of us. It had 3 queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was nice. It was a little small with the 7 of us and all of our stuff. It is in a good location and easy to get to. We had a nice balcony in the front with tables and chairs that overlooks the lake. We were checking in late so we called and she had the room all set up with extra towels for us! Easy in and easy out!

We were a large family group, including young kids traveling for a memorial. We rented the 20 person cabin. The day before our stay they called me and informed me we would need to bring our own plates and cups (despite being advertised as having a full kitchen including "essential cookware, utensils, and dinnerware". Not the end of the world but not ideal. Upon check in we noticed that the property seemed dirty. In the lower level there was an active water leak, a bucket collecting water by the water heater, obvious mold. There was hair in the drains, kleenex under the beds, and also an exposed staple in the staircase. I understand some bugs maybe or sand in a lake house but this was a health and safety concern. Also, the main level ac wasn't working so we called and they came to look and said they would have someone come out the next day. When my husband expressed his dissatisfaction and concern for the condition of the house the man told him we're "paying for the lake" and brushed him off completely. We scrambled to find a place to accommodate our large group and left that same night without completing our stay. The lake was nice, but I'm not staying somewhere unsafe for my family just to be on a lake. The woman at the front desk was nice at check in at least? I would recommend staying away, especially from the 20 person cabin.

This motel was the nicest motel I have ever been in! All remodeled inside. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice and definitely came in handy. The beach area was cute and clean. The kids had a blast in the pool. Price was reasonable. The staff were a little hard to get a hold of. Otherwise a great place to stay- highly recommend!

Simple hotel with a clean and spacious room in the heart of the Dells. Met my needs. For one night.

The room was great. It was definitely a very old property, but looked like it was being updated. Very cute and great view from the lake view balcony. Loved the little beach, swings and small pool as it was private.
The property was fantastic, but on our second night, there was a huge fight going on with some other tenants in a cabin. It was after 8pm and no one is in the office then. So we called the emergency number for after hours. When the person answered they were so drunk they couldnt hold a converstation with my wife. They said they would handle it but it was highly doubtful the man even understood what was going on. We ended up calling the cops as the fight had escalated. When we told the staff at our check out about the incident they seemed like they didn't care. My family was outside playing at the time the fight broke out and for safety reasons, we had to go to our room with our 2 small children. We were unable to be outside the rest of the evening. The fight clearly wasn't the resort's fault but the interaction with the drunk employee was really upsetting. Thankfully the police escourted the people off the property and we didnt need to listen to the cusing and screaming anymore. The way this was handled impacted our stay negatively.

We had a wonderful time at the properly, the room was clean and the lake view was beautiful. Quiet with many amenities nearby. We will be back to take advantage of the boat rental to enjoy the lake even more.

The lake view room did have an amazing view of the lake, best part for sure. The resort touts pet friendly, but it’s only pet friendly in certain areas…pool area and beach off limits…although we witnessed dogs being on the beach and in the lake…nothing was done about it. I don’t have any issues with that, if you’re pet friendly then be pet friendly. The biggest issue for me was cleanliness/housekeeping…there was none, you’re it. When you check in they have a checklist of what needs to be done before you check out or you will get charged up to $150 cleaning fee. With that said, we still had to clean before we could start enjoying the room. It was more reminiscent of a house rental not a resort but still charged as a resort with the resort fees.

Great hotel! I will definitely be back! We went for automotion so parking ended up being an issue however, on any other weekend the parking would be sufficient. Great beach area with dock and a place to build a nice bonfire!

Room was recently updated. Very old building. When I got there I had to wait 20!minutes in my truck to wait for a worker to drive to the office to get me a key to my room. The next morning I went to check out and again nobody was there . Very strange that the entire stay nobody was in the office?

Our expectations were low due to the price and some other reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised and this more than met our needs when looking for a last-minute, dog friendly stay. Clean and spacious, great location.
