Good stay. Lovely staff and good value.

We had a one night stopover with a visit to The Barbican and served our purpose perfectly.

The room smelt of curry, wasn't very clean, didn't have a toilet roll holder and the toilet seat didn't fit. 2 days before i was told the lift didn't work and when I asked if they could print out the invoice, they said the print wasn't working. To top it all off the curtains are too small for the windows so daylight comes through. Would not stay again.

Fairly basic hotel, but clean and perfectly adequate. Friendly staff and good value.
3.0
Very small room with no space for a suitcase. Leaking shower, so the bathroom floor was like a (small) swimming pool. Still - the area is great and the hotels have better rooms than what we got (we have stayed there before).

Good located hotel in the heart of Shoreditch but on a quiet road

Good stay. Enjoyed friendly staff reception and at breakfast

Friendly and welcoming staff, clean room and especially clean bathroom which is important to me. A very small but convenient mini fridge in room. Aircon + a fan. Little shampoos provided. All in all good value for money for a London stay! Don’t miss Mikeller bar on the corner but do skip the gyros just beyond. Not worth the tummy problems!

The triple room was spacious and quite quiet. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee available in room and cold water. Bathroom seemed new and fine.

I was here for four nights as part od a business trip. The hotel is small - but welcoming. They allowed me to check in early with a small fee (after an overnight flight. Being able to take a shower and nap was much appreciated), and the complimentary breakfast was enough (toast or waffles with an egg, yogurt, nuts and juice/coffee). You can purchase a full English breakfast for £7. The room was on the small side but comfy and clean. The mattress felt like a futon mattress, but didnt casue me any problems. Wifi was fast and the rooms have a safe. One thing to consider is that this hotel is centrally located for north east London. The best way to get there is on the overground, 1 stop from Whitechapel to Shoreditch High Street and then a 5-10 minite walk through a quiet neighborhood. To get into central London was anywhere from 20-45 minutes depending on where you were going. The Elizabeth Line to/from LHR goes right to Whitechapel and is probably the quickest option (about £12, around double the underground). I would stay here again, especially if I had business in this part of town.

Everything was quite nice. Nice and helpful staff, quite spacious, clean…
The only flaw may be the distance to the underground. You may need to take the bus more.

We loved our stay at the Shoreditch Inn. We had such a friendly welcome and our room was impeccable. It had every amenity we would have asked for- coffee machine, AC and a fridge with water waiting for us. Our bed was made with towels in the shape of bows which made us smile. We had a great view over the park. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great too. We had it for a great price for the location, we were right in the middle of everything we wanted access to- everything was a 5 minute walk. It couldn’t have been better!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Shoreditch Inn, staff very friendly and helpful.
Room comfortable and hadcall we needed. Breakfast was good and complimentary, you can upgrade to full English for £7 which was well worth it.
Chef was great and cooked what you wanted. Hotel is small but very nice. Good location with shops and restaurant close by. Buses run past regular and only 10 min walk to train station.
Would definitely stay here again

I read reviews for this hotel and thought it would be good. I wasn't looking for much, just a hotel for a single night in London. I was tired and needed to rest. It was on a side street and was supposed to be quiet...
I arrived, and the front desk lady didn't really speak English. I don't mean had an accent. I mean I asked simple questions about the check-in stuff and where I was signing and stuff, and she seemed confused and just responded "yes, yes" to questions that were definitely not yes or no.
Whatever, not a big deal. I just wanted to rest in my room finally...Except they were doing renovations. Absolute mess outside the room. Drilling, screaming at each other, listening to loud music on their phones. Also work dusty, could not have been healthy. Also wet paint.
None of this had been disclosed ahead of time. I get that hotels need work sometimes, but this should be disclosed to guests before. It was very frustrating because I really needed to sleep...and it wasn't car noise from outside (it's a city, a little is expected). Or noisy guests...those are annoying and can happen. Both those I can put in earplugs and ignore. But it's very hard to ignore drilling into walls next to you that cause physical vibrations in the room.
To really top it all off, the wet paint they had everywhere? A pair of pants I wore while there are not damaged because of it.
Fun fact, hotels.com was useless in helping so.
Don't stay here. They don't care.

When we arrived at the accommodation, we were greeted with a lovely smile and smooth, friendly check in. Our room was very spacious with a comfy bed, excellent amenities and generally super clean. We were happy to find complimentary tea and coffee, toiletries, slippers and water bottles stocked in the mini fridge along with some options for breakfast (continental was free, you can pay extra if you'd like more than this). They were also kind enough to keep our bags whilst we had a wander around the city for the day. Overall, it was a great stay and exceptional value for money. Highly recommend and we look forward to our next visit. Thanks very much to the team xx

Nice small hotel. Convenient, fairly-priced and with attentive staff.

I chose this hotel specifically because it advertised soundproof rooms, and I needed a quiet place due to some work I was doing. But I was hearing construction noise from above me all day. The hours of the noise would have been perfectly acceptable if I just needed to sleep in the room and leave for the day, but it was disruptive and extremely disappointing.
The fact that the front door is locked 24/7 was nice for security, but it made the hotel feel very unfriendly when I arrived to check in, especially since no one was at reception (though I did arrive about an hour before check in time). Ultimately, Krishna did come to reception and checked me in half an hour early, and he was extremely friendly and kind, which helped a lot to overcome the initial unwelcoming impression.
The room itself was very nice, and the bathroom was great - I enjoyed the hot shower with good pressure. I also had a spectacular view of the church yard, out of two floor-to-ceiling windows, and it was incredibly peaceful to look out and people-watch. Shoreditch is a fun, artistic neighborhood, and the hotel is very well situated for walking and exploring.
If I hadn't needed quiet, or if there hadn't been construction, this would have been a perfect place to stay.

Excellent home base for exploring different areas of London. The people who work at the front desk are responsive and polite whereas the individuals who prepare breakfast in the morning are fabulous! Great continental breakfast options and always left feeling well fueled. Clean rooms, decent shower, good AC, and in a surprisingly quiet location too!

Simple hotel room for an overnight visit to London. Comfortable bed, bathroom with shower and friendly staff. We arrived after 11pm, but were greeted by a friendly face who checked us in swiftly. Free continental breakfast was pleasant and a good start to the day. Would return for a weekend/ overnight stay again.

Just an exceptional find, very impressed with the room and value for money, could not ask for more.
Lovely person on reception who could not have been more friendly and helpful.
This will be my go to place whenever staying in London.
Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, friendly helpful staff. Good location, although there was a little road noise in the room as my room faced a busy street and Shoreditch is a popular location. Room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities, decor was a little dated but overall clean with a good size bathroom and nice for a 1 night stay.

Good size room and bathroom. Some renovations were taking place at the time.
Great area for nightlife. Hotel is in quiet area though. Cant comment on the breakfast

This hotel is very good value for money. Great location, clean, nice breakfast. Our room was great. Clean, lovely crisp cotton sheets and fluffy towels. The staff were very helpful and polite. What more do you need?
I would stay here again.

Extremely friendly, helpful staff.
Very basic complimentary continental breakfast or pay extra to have a cooked breakfast.
Rooms are quite basic and need more of a thorough clean around the bath and corners of the bathroom along with skirting boards and windows

Rude awakening to the sound of hand and power tools, looked up from the bed to see someone looking from the air conditioning grate at me! Apparently maintenance was being conducted from the room above but with no prior notice or warning. Massive invasion of privacy and completely unacceptable. Complaint was shrugged off by reception.
