Amazing stay at Rush Creek, everything met and exceeded our expectations at this hotel. Very comfortable and quiet rooms, stunning facilities with heated pools, hot tubs and recreation areas available.
We did some hiking in Yosemite and it was only a few minutes drive into the park in the morning and 40min drive to Yosemite village.
We would highly recommend with no downsides found at all.

Overall a very nice experience!
The hike trails were not very good marked which made it a bit hard to follow the right path. Everything else exceeded our expectations!

Loved this resort!! Design and function all well planned. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage. Had a fridge, safe and microwave in room. No TV but great wi-fi and Alexa provided. Great veranda overlooking the heated pool, two hot tubs (which we loved) and property. Did not utilize the spa services but I’m sure those are top notch as well. Fantastic restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beautiful buildings and property. Two minutes to Yosemite 120 entrance and about 30 minutes into Yosemite Valley. Great getaway for couples or families with lots of activities (paid and free), including a huge playroom next to the pool area. Board games, billiards, fuse ball, shuffleboard and a climbing feature. Will definitely come again.

The property is lovely, and the staff are really friendly. I just wish there were more food options at the hotel. The BBQ by the pool wasn't great, though.

We chose this as our base for our Yosemite trip and we are so happy we dd. Great location with easy access to Big OakFlat entrance, beautifully designed and maintained with a pool, hot pool, numerous fire pits, game room and lounge. Service was excellent. Restaurant was decent enough. We would stay here again

Friendly, efficient service all around (A+). Decent restaurant with good menu selection (including vegan!). Probably more hotel than we needed overall since we were focused solely on visiting Yosemite (so, a tad pricey for us). Nice, comfortable room, though a little noisy (room above ours, especially sounds from bathroom), and some of the electrical outlets didn’t work.

Ritz-Carlton prices, Howard Johnson’s service. Denied deck dining without first making a reservation even though many outdoor tables were empty. Only two staff waiting and busing tables in the restaurant.
Good amenities, but left wanting….

Greeted by great staff upon arrival. Clean, comfortable room facing the pool. Food was overall good - generous portions. Great onsite store for snacks and picnic lunches. Very convenient access to Yosemite NP west entrances to Hetch Hetchy, Tioga Rd to Tuolumne Meadows, and of course down to the Valley.

This is an awesome modern hotel with activities for your kids all day and night. Would stay here again and time

Great amenities but rooms are lacking coziness and comfort. Also restaurant menu could be better, very broad. Do a few things and do it well. I love this property and honestly will return but the beds are not comfortable and the menu was subpar.

It was just fine, not bad and not amazing. We were a bit disappointed with the view from the balcony. It was towards the forest and the centered part of our view was the staff parking for trucks. So it felt like it took over a bit.
It felt more run down and older than we thought it would be. But nice staff and a bonus point for the smores!

First time there & we absolutely loved it! We will definitely be coming back! The bartenders at the Tavern were all super friendly & hospitable & so were the servers at the restaurant. Our meals were all excellent. There wasn’t one we didn’t like. The front desk was very warm & hospitable as well. The grounds were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We loved the pool & hot tub & the sunset deck was a perfect place to watch a gorgeous sunset. We were pleased w/everything! Thank you for such a wonderful getaway! Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed our experience at Rush Creek sooo much! We are still raving about how much we enjoyed the property, the amazing views, and our overall stay here! The grounds of the resort are magical, especially in the evening when the fire pits turn on for s’mores! A true mountain lodge experience that’s both charming and modern, we cannot wait to return!

We stayed here for it's extra bedroom feature and proximity to Yosemite. The resort is lovely and just over a mile from the park entrance. We were there for a midweek trip, that extended into the weekend. The midweek portion was great, as the resort was not too busy. During the weekend it was a mad house. I cannot blame this on the resort, but on the parents that had no problem allowing their kids to roam free and wreak havoc. The property is beautiful and lots to do hanging around. A large pool and two hot tubs. All the lawn game you could imagine and a large play area for small children. They had a all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner each night and we joined in two. They were well done and served plenty of food for a reasonable price. We also ate in the restaurant, which was pricey but excellent. Beautiful tavern inside also. The hotel shop is packed with lots of essentials on a remote trip, and we had plenty to eat and drink during our stay.
Forewarning, it is at least an hour to get in and out of the nearest trails in Yosemite, so plan ahead for lots of driving while on vacation. And driving on very, very winding, twisting, climbing and dropping roads. Not for the nervous driver. It was not something we had planned ahead for, so I hope to let others know. There are other hotels located inside the park that would have less driving, but Rush Creek was a beautiful escape and I would recommend to anyone. Staff was beyond helpful in extending our stay.

Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable, we could have stayed longer and will tell others to plan their trip but stay at Rush Creek Lodge

We loved the hotel overall. Check in could have been more friendly and pool tiles could do with a clean, though water quality was great.

The property was so amazing! Villa was spacious and loved sitting out on the balcony. Pool and spa were top notch. Food was excellent and was really happy that we could go to the General Store to get coffee and breakfast on our way to Yosemite. Very convenient access to Yosemite park entrance. There were also lots of activities for kids. Very family friendly resort. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This property is fantastic. The staff are friendly, the room is clean, the property is located in a great area within an easy drive to the Yosemite valley. The pool was very cold but on a hot day would be a welcome treat. The atmosphere at night was great with a sunset deck, s’mores for the kids and just a lovely place to be. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great family place with lots to do on the grounds and most of it is included in the room rate… Neat concept, very much enjoyed our stay. Also, not a far drive to entrance of Yosemite.

Our cabin room was fabulous, clean and comfortable, with amazing views. The facilities were great and there was a lovely family friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool (sipping a beer from the poolside bar whilst my kids swam!), the games room and s'mores by the fire pit. There was more to enjoy, such as the zip wire, table tennis and climbing wall, but sadly we didn't fit it all in as we were also enjoying exploring Yosemite! I cannot recommend Rushcreek Lodge more highly.

This is a beautiful property, especially perfect for families. The staff was friendly and the food was good. It was an easy 15 minute drive to the gate of the park.

New-ish property with a rustic feel but full amenities. Very nice staff. Cool game room and outdoor play area for kids and preteens. Kids buffet dinner choices were a hit with my 7 year old. Guided tour of Yosemite with our guide Chris was great! Highly recommend Rush Creek Lodge.

Staff on numerous occasions failed to take gluten allergy seriously enough, leading to my wife being ill.
The manager once told did take this on board and said more training would be done.
But for a high cost, high value resort this shouldn't have been neccesary.

The staff at reception could not have been more friendly or welcoming. They were a breath of fresh air after a long day of traveling and they greeted us each day as we passed the reception area. Wish the woman working in the area that sells food, drinks, brkfst food etc. was half as friendly as the reception staff. Sadly she should be in a customer facing job.

We came to Rush Creek for our wedding and the staff were able to pull off a last minute private dining room for us. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for our INCREDIBLE waitress (and photographer) Linda. She went above and beyond to make sure my family felt special and celebrated.

Lovely hotel, lovely pool, great buildings, but eye-wateringly expensive for what it is. Poor choice of healthy options for kids for a family hotel. Also, we had a device stolen from us while on the premises which was not really the hotel’s fault, but extremely disappointing.
