Excellent location and great old building, but very outdated (worn carpet, random furniture). Bedding was very low quality. Excellent AC though, and staff was very friendly.

The property is outdated. The rooms have very old interior and furniture. No water or coffee/tea in the room which was a surprise. Checkout is at 10 am. The sauna wasn’t available. Not worth it.

Well located for visiting the center, with (paid) parking spaces for guests. Rooms vary, the large one on 2nd floor we got was nice, with river views. Breakfast was fine.

Somewhat dated but nice property. Beds are very soft and tub/shower had no curtain or way of blocking shower water. Check-in staff could learn to advise wifi password at check-in....

Hotel Gold is in a lovely location in the park and I think if we had stayed elsewhere we would have missed a highlight of our stay ie to walk along the river in the park. Beautiful!The hotel was clean and staff pleasant. The bathroom was good, there was plenty of space but the beds desperately needed renewing.As is normal in this part of the world, breakfast was basic but the restaurant serves authentic Czech food.

The wifi is not working, and the reception staff said that he didn't have the knowledge to solve the wifi problems, just reset the router and result is the same. The location and parking is very good !

location was nice - situated alongside the river with the beautiful park in te back. however, you do need a cab to the hotel if you have luggage as it is at the opposite end of the entrance if arriving by bus or train. the hotel is very quaint inside, the food was good and the desk clerk was very helpful. great hotel

There was no Wi-Fi service despite the hotels claims of otherwise.The hot water was yellow.The tub drained extremely slow.There were only two towels provided and they were very small for use after shower so because of the yellow water and the small towels we skipped taking shower the day we stayed there.Hotel personnel though was friendly.

During our travels through Europe I had inadvertently set up the wrong date on our reservation. Although the Hotel was full the Manager went out of his way to help us set up a reservation for Friday night at another hotel. The next morning (the day of our original reservation) he let us park our car in the Hotel lot so we could go site seeing. Very friendly staff and highly recommend.

Hotel Gold is a very charming hotel located in the "must see" town of Cesky Krumlov. While it is an older building without an elevator, the staff, architecture, and location make it a great place to stay. Right on the Vltava river, as soon as you walk out the door the views are spectacular. Breakfast was fabulous and extensive. All in all a highly recommended hotel.

Great location just across foot bridge to the old town and with excellent views of the town and the castle complex. Parking (gated) and nice European breakfast were included. Our 3rd floor room had a Queen and twin bed so was plenty of room for 3. Was a bit noisy at night sleeping with the windows open as the park adjacent seems to be where local teens hang out. Would stay here again. Had an excellent meal in town as well.

The reason I did not give a higher rating was due to the mini bar not working and travelling with two babies we needed this however luckily enough due to cold weather were able to leave food and milk and the window ledge. Although the hotel tried to fixed this they ended up knocking out all the power to the plugs so no TV or ability to charge computers or phones. Still although things happen it was still a nice few days in cesky.

Right across the bridge from the old city center, easily walkable city of Cesky Krumolov was a magical step back in time. The hotel was great, excellent breakfast, and the staff was very friendly and helpful to us - setting up a boat tour with a provider.

Lovely hotel, very pretty and nice location. Rooms very ornate and pleasant. Bed was a little uncomfortable - quite hard mattress and very thin pillow. Also very little breakfast. We went once at 7am and once at 9am and both times the hot food seemed to have run out!
