Time to renovate or replace. Way past it's prime. Uneven floors with screw heads popped up. First impression "dump", nut was too tired to find another spot. Won't be back.

I needed a place near a friend and their family, for a visit up from Maine for one night. This place looked fine online, but upon arrival, the reception desk was behind glass, it offers rooms by the hour, and my room… check out the 3 mirrors lol! On the plus side, the bedding was all very clean, and as a person who has traveled extensively in some really dodgy areas around the world, it wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever been in. That’s not saying much though- I’ve backpacked in some pretty alarming places. This place wasn’t worth $75/night.

The service was OK. They didn’t find our reservation, you should call by phone when you book a room because it took 1 hour to find it. The odour was really strong, cigarettes odour.

I don’t know that this is the problem of Expedia, Google map or the property when they say this kilometre is far from the center. It’s not totally accurate sometimes six or 7 km has a different.

As we arrived we noticed it was extremely dark you had to go down a long parking lot no lights in the parking lot there was a light that came on over the door but it didn't stay on fo long at all.it was not clean. I not recommend anyone stay and i would not ever syay myself again.

The staff is friendly, particularly the housekeeper. Upon our arrival at the room, the floor was flooded with rain due to the heavy rain that night. The housekeeper assisted us and provided us with a rag. The room was nice and clean but it's a bit old and the toilet bowl is wobbling, but what we liked here is the strong WiFi signal and quiet location.

Asian lady didn’t know much at check in. My room was not ready for 1 pm check in. Came at 2 and they didn’t have anything ready, waited a house for room. Came back and after they prepared the room l, it was still dirty.. they don’t clean good, moody bathroom tiles and property did not feel safe. The photos seemed better , in person the place is horrible.

Online, this property looked like one of those cool old school strip motels. In person, it was run down and on a one-way frontage road that had been shoehorned into a space right next to the freeway. Garbage cans out front the next morning were surrounded by trash. When I checked in, we had to pay more than expected. This was not their fault-Expedia does not give prices in Canadian dollars, even when that is how you have to pay. On top of that, the person demanded a $100 deposit beyond the pet fee. She said it was for anything missing from the room, and we would get it back. This is a first for us. The room was saggy and the door had no decent lock. The smoke alarms had been gutted, and there were few places to plug anything in.I had called ahead to try to find out what the dog fee was, etc, but I could not understand the person on the phone at all. I had a very hard time understanding her even in person. At one time, this must have been a nice property. It had a path to a gazebo by the river, and 2 boats were docked there. The houses around it were very fancy.

Unfortunately the photos of the room doesn’t match with the reality of the property…we arrived at 1PM and were able to do the check-in however room wasn’t ready, and no solution was provided, I checked the room and it was smoky smelling, the entire room smells like cigarette, and my wife and myself saw “guests” smoking around the accommodation. So after 30min my wife and I decided to not stay there, and simply PAY IN FULL, even though we didn’t use anything, but the situation was so terrible and not properly set that we preferred to just leave.the property being simple isn’t the issue, however feels like abandoned and truly needs some help…and definitely feels sketchy and not proper for a family to stay there.

Had a security concern when my door was left Open. No one takes responsibility of security . Neither hotel nor Expedia. Think 100 times before you book this hotel or you book through Expedia. All that Expedia will do is share an apology email.

This was the worst place we have ever stayed. It was dirty inside and out. The grounds were terrible, garbage in plain sight. We didn’t feel safe staying here. Everything on the inside was so old and needed updating. This place should not be advertised on any site. We were very disappointed and couldn’t wait to leave.

The worst experience in my life, never back there again, the staff is terrible, the people around there is drugged and drunk, a women what to fight me and my friend, there’s a lot of bugs and spiders, there was a open condon under the bed, the cleaning is very poor, everything was dirty and nasty, I was scare each night that I stay there, is so far, nothing near, the police always come cause something happens and pretty much everything was a bad experience, please don’t book here never, you are going to regret forever like me

The property was more run down than the pictures showed. However the room, bathroom and bedding were clean. While the property is on the St. Lawerence, with a gazibo and dock, it is over grown with junk dumped in the area. The room did have good air conditioning, but unfortunately a power outage in the whole area knocked it out. While I couldn't connect to the guest wifi (it only worked in the motel office) i was automatically connecting to an unknown, unsecure network until I noticed and blocked it. One very positive thing was that I was able to book it without payment in advance.

The lady on reception in our check-in was too rude and unresponsive. Our trip started with a negative vibe (we visited Montréal for the very first time). We request the staff to be more friendly rather being rude. Secondly there was smoking smell coming in the room and there were a lot of small insects as we entered. The bathtub's drain was also clogged and the water went in really slow. We stayed for 2 nights, but there was no room service or cleaning done for the second day. We went to the reception twice or thrice for the issues we had, but there was no one present there to attend us even in the mentioned staff hours. Overall, I would not like to visit and recommend it to anyone anytime.

Do not stay here! This is not what the motel looks like , there were stains everywhere, wires hanging from the ceiling, holes in the bathtub. Owner ignored our requests for refund. Terrible place that felt unsafe and was filthy - stayed long enough to take pictures and get out.

You get what you pay for here. Slowest check in, room unavail when i got there as well. Bathrooms are pretty scummy and moldy everywhere, not sure exactly what cleaning means to housekeeping. Pretty dissapointed w the patio area overgrown bad, dog?? Poop all over and there were 2 boats tiedup blocking any view options. Stay here for the price only kinda place only.

Terrible service. Was fighting a fly for half of my stay. Disgusting bathroom. Dirty sheets. The worst place I’ve stayed at in my life. The lady on the phone told me that the security deposit is 60$, when i got to the place, they told me that it was 100$ and when we checked out, they had the audacity to take 0.01$ from the 100$ and gave us back 99.99$. Not recommended

DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL! The room was disgusting. The bathroom was filthy with mold everywhere. The bed had rusty bedsprings and when you moved they created alump in the bed. This motel is used for so-called 'siestas', rental by the hour. It would have been nice to know this in advance.

DO NOT STAY HERE The front desk was offering a deal for 2 hours, a bottle of wine, and 6 chocolates for $70…need I say more?! We reserved the most expensive room, hoping it would be decent, and it smelled TERRIBLE and the bed looked like it hadn’t been washed between at least the last 5 uses. Plus, no AC and the door doesn’t lock! If that doesn’t push you away from here, there were two homeless people in the parking lot shooting themselves up while another was checking all the cars for unlocked doors. We quickly left our room to talk to the front desk about our safety concerns and they were extremely rude and hostile!! We ended up just dropping off our keys and running off because we felt even more unsafe by the interaction and went somewhere else for the night. We told this new place what happened and they were far from surprised.

The displayed photos of the place and the actual condition of our room were completely different. It is surprising if this place passes inspection. The bathroom had a musty odor with a dripping tub faucet that couldn't be stopped, It lacked a bathroom fan and there was no toilet paper. The bedroom comforter and the cover over the sofa were ripped in a few places. There were night insects in the room that crawled around on the bed and sofa. The lobby was a dingy cramped area with space for only a person to enter and be registered by surly staff. It is unfortunate I have to to submit this review since I feel it is important to alert people and maybe incentivize the motel to improve. The motel was a unexpected downer in an otherwise very positive experience in Montreal.
