Great place and clean

The room was good enough but wouldn't want to stay too long

Very basic room, functional, like a dormitory. I couldn't believe that a hair dryer was not provided. Women don't fly with hair dryers, and it's standard and expected that they are provided in hotel rooms. Also, a coffee maker in the room would have been nice, especially since there is no elevator and we had to walk up 2 1/2 flights to get to lobby to get coffee (with soaking wet hair).

Older rooms and buildings. No cleaning services had to use towels for 3 days

Room was very clean and comfortable. Front staff was excellent, friendly and efficient.
5.0
Quaint, older building. Room was comfortable, quiet and smelled clean and fresh. Staff was very friendly.

The only coffee available was in the main lobby. There was no ice available at all. The hotel was very noisy and no fan or anything available to cover the noise.
Staff was very pleasant.

Clean and well managed. It would be perfect if the curtains blocked out the light. We were happy with our stay regardless.

I was fine till friday morning then i got accused of smoking in the room. while i was sleeping. I had my windows open and could smell cig. Smoke coming in from the bars and resteraunts so because i got accused i got kicked out and am being charged 350.00 extra. THIS IS BS i will never stay there again or tell anyone to stay there im very up set and feel you were in the wrong im refusing to pay another 350.00 i will fight it and thanks to you i had to sleep in my car friday night

Great place to stay and very clean room

Great little hotel. Room was clean and had a lovely view. Only complaint is that we booked a Queen room but the bed was full-sized. We were too tired to try to change or complain. Otherwise, would definitely recommend.

Good place to crash while fishing Homer.

Super clean, friendly front desk fellow. Was able to book at the last minute. Great!

The room was nice and clean. really comfortable. Only thing missing is Kleenex.

The hotel is an older style building. No elevator, not many outlets and a key for the door (not card entry). Over all, the Hotel was clean, staff friendly and the view from the windows was great. The location was in the center of what we were looking and yes I stay there again.

Our room was in the basement! When you looked outside, you could see only the weeds that were growing so tall out the window. The curtains didn't even cover the window completely. No glasses or cups in the room or bathroom. The bed was as hard as rock & no hairdryer. I've never stayed in this bad of a place & overpriced for what we got. I definitely would not recommend !

Great stay. Appreciated the 24 hour coffee and tea station. Lovely lounge. Would have liked an additional chair in the bedroom. Staff was great!!!

This was an unexpected 1 night stay. I was happily surprised with my room.
Hotel was rated at 7.4 on hotels.com, but I would raised that rating to 8.7.
Room was very clean as well as the bathroom.
I would comeback anytime.

Staff was so friendly and kind!!

Room was clean, staff was super friendly and helpful, location was right on the main road which I thought would noisy but it really didn’t bother us. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and friendly staff but the bed was so uncomfortable neither of us could sleep. The bed was rock hard, only 1 thin sheet and thin blanket and pillows so thick it felt like 4 pillows stacked up and hard. We could here everyone around us TV as the walls are super thin. The place feels more like a hostel than a $175 night hotel.

It was reasonably priced, it's affordable, and it's a decent place to stay overnight

Not a bad place to stay at all. The building was opened in 1948, when looking at the layout, it becomes obvious. Small hallways, and lots of stairs. They've definitely put some work into it though, new windows, decent furniture, a beautiful lobby, fresh exterior. You will for sure hear your neighbors above and next to you, but hey, 1948 structure and all.
My one small gripe is come on guys, get rid of the keys, and invest in a card system. Especially since your lobby isn't open 24hrs.

Very old hotel with some interesting history. However, the staff is not very friendly. Our room was on the 2nd floor, which is actually the basement. Very noisy. We could hear every footstep in the room above us, toilets flushing, showers etc. room was clean but beds were not comfortable. Next time we will pay more and stay somewhere else.

Everything was fine but 2 items. They knew 4 people were staying there for months. They gave us 2 towels & 2 wash cloths, & not much soap/shampoo. The last full day was rainy all day. Didn't really want to get out much. The TV didn't work because of the rain. So we got out & did something in the rain. Overall, it was a clean comfortable place to stay. I would use it again.

Nice room view but bar next door was loud till 2:00 am. No cups other than paper cups for coffee in the lobby (no cups in room?)Plastic cups were not even available or glass for wine. Really pretty curt and not very friendly front desk . Ridiculous for $ 200 a night room and at least have glass for drinks available in the room so you can brush teeth etc. in the room unacceptable!!!!

I wish the curtains were more of a blackout shade, and they didn’t even touch so we had a white light line in the room!

All went well

We were extremely happy with the cleanliness of our room. This is an older property that has has a very good renovation on the key areas; new windows, bathroom fixtures, shower, and mattress! The linen is crisp and clean as is the overall impression of the room.

Riley at reception was outstanding, really helpful and friendly. Hotel needs some major TLC to bring it up to basic standard. Walls are really thing so you can hear everything going on in your neighbours room! Also when anyone above or beside your room flushes their toilet it sounds like yours is about to explode!! Avoid room 121 your below street level and the car park looks direct into your room, so you hace to keep your curtains closed all the time.

It’s outdated but suited our needs. It’s clean.

Loud music blaring all night from the bar next door. Now my neighbors are partying as well. Currently 1 am and no sign of slowing down.

The young lady at the front desk, Riley, was very personable. She was helpful and informative of the area. The hotel was clean and quiet.

Easy check-in with a very pleasant young man at the front desk. The room had dorm-style fridge and a microwave which were perfect. The drapes weren’t large enough to cover the entire window. Not a big deal unless you’re in Alaska in the summer. Didn’t look like the counters had been dusted in quite some time. Overall and for the price, it was perfect. I would stay again.

Clean, warm, safe place to stay and do activities in Homer and around the area. Has guest laundry and some shared kitchen area on main floor. Room had all we needed. 24 hour coffee in the lobby.

This isn’t a fancy place, but we’ve stayed there twice and would again.

Helpful staff, good location, it's an older building that looks like is being renewed - a long process im sure. Rooms are basic, but adequate and mine was comfortable

It was comfortable for the couple days I stayed.
