Great large family apartment so was able to do self catering. Friendly staff. 1 bed was firm and comfortable the second was very soft. Only negative was a small hot water system so needed to wait for hot water

My suite had everything I needed for my staff. Plenty of room to spread out and wonderful to have a kitchen. Friendly and helpful team. A gem in Harbor/Brookings. I will definitely staff again for business.

This is our favorite place to stay. 2 beds, one in a separate bedroom (for the hubby that snores) a super plush recliner so you can put your legs up. A stocked kitchen so you can cook your own meals, ours did not have a couch, so perhaps a bean bag chair or a gaming chair in the closet would have been nice, that way the other person could sit and watch tv also. It's within walking distance of the ocean and restaurants. We will come and stay as often as we can.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Ocean Suites Motel. The room had a kitchen with all the amenities one would would need-- sink, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots/pans, glassware, breakfast table. Everything was spotless. There was a separate bedroom with its own TV and a comfortable bed. The harbor is just across the street from the motel, and the motel itself sits back in a protected niche in the coastline and slightly above the street, so there is little street or neighborhood noise. There are a number of eating establishments nearby-- I recommend the Irish Pub about a half mile upriver towards the highway. I managed to leave my phone charger there when I checked out, and the moteliers, very nice folks, alerted me and then mailed it to my home address. I'll use this motel again the next time I am in the Brookings/Harbor area.

While planning a trip down the Oregon and California coasts, I was considering a night's stay in Crescent City or Brookings. I researched several affordable motels only to ultimately be scared away by some bad reviews. I finally came to Ocean Suites Motel in Brookings and absolutely made the right choice. First, I received a call after booking my room to make sure my room was the best fit for my solo adventure. The day of my arrival, I received another call to let me know my room was ready early. Once I arrived, I was greeted by very helpful and friendly staff who helped me get settled and recommended a spot for dinner. The grounds were clean and well kept. I got into my room and was very pleased with how it looked and felt. It was simple but very clean and seemed like everything was recently redone. There was even local art on the walls. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Ocean Suites put Brookings on my list of road trip destinations for years to come.

Lovely stay here. Rooms are like mini apartments with separate bedroom, living, dining and kitchen area. Everything was immaculate. Very friendly and helpful office staff and there is access to a washer/dryer during your stay.

Very nice hotel with good amenities, however, the floors were very dirty and walking around with white socks had them black on the bottom while inside the room. The full service kitchen was very nice though.

The managers went above and beyond to make it as convenient as possible for us with a large car trailer to park. They asked if there was anything else they could help with, offered dining options, anything that we could think of. Great place, even had a little kitchen and separate bedroom. Very comfy. We will go there again.

The property was very sub-par and I was extremely surprised by the positive reviews. The location isn’t ideal, the rooms are old, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. I felt like I went back in time to my childhood in the 80’s. Would not recommend

The front office staff was amazing and so friendly. I was working from the hotel that day and watched all the housekeepers working on the rooms and the amount of time they spent in each room was amazing. Our unit was positively sparkling and now I see why. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and am looking forward to when we can go back.

Clean, quiet older property. New flooring. The building appears to be an apartment building now used as a motel. The beds were comfy. Very good staff. They asked if we wanted to be on the ground level or upstairs (no elevator). We chose upstairs. We had two queen beds. One bed was in the bedroom. The other bed was in the living room with a dining table with chairs and one larger chair. Each room had a TV. There was a small kitchen area with fridge, stove, microwave and cooking items. No AC. Ceiling fans. We didn't need either during our stay. Ocean/beach were within walking distance. We would stay again.

Close to the water and walking areas, and we found some nice spots for breakfast/lunch. We did a road trip up the CA/OR coast, and this was our favorite stop - very clean, and the room layout was great! Wish we had more days there, and will definitely come back!

This is an older motel but it has been updated to include new flooring in our room, a comfortable mattress, plentiful kitchen supplies, nice thick towels and ample room to spread out. There is no view of the ocean. Parking was tight for the number of guests staying at the motel. We could walk to the nearby beach as well as the Catalyst restaurant.
